Lydia and her team at Teal were fabulous. They did the hair and makeup for my wedding, and I was so incredibly pleased with results. They made me feel like my wedding was just as important to them as it was to me. Between work and living out of state, I had never been to Teal Studio and was not able to get in for a hair and makeup trial before my wedding. However, that was no problem, as Lydia was so helpful leading up to and during the event. Lydia and Leah arrived on time and prepared. They made it clear that they were able to make adjustments and meet everyone's preferences and comfort levels. They were extremely patient with my mom and the mother of the groom who had not had hair/makeup professionally done before and were not sure what they wanted. I cannot recommend Teal Studio enough. They are so talented and truly a pleasure to be around on your wedding day!

The ladies at Teal Hair & Makeup Studio were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. We had Lydia and Erin for our stylists and they are so lovely and talented. I had a trial with Erin a few months before the wedding and we had decided on a few adjustments to make for the actual wedding day and she nailed it. Most of my bridal party and I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis but Lydia and Erin gave us such stunning natural looks that highlighted everyone’s beauty. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. In addition to being talented at their crafts, they’re also the nicest people! We had such a great time with them while we getting ready. They are wonderful!

The Teal Team was fantastic. I have had some bad wedding hair and makeup in the past, so I was pretty nervous and very picky when finding a HBU vendor. Teal had popped up on so many searches, and as very close to my wedding location, so I went in for a trial with Julia. The studio is immaculate, and Julia was open to trying many hairstyles on me. I also wanted minimal makeup, and she was able to accomplish the look that I was going for. The day of the wedding the team fit right in with the flow, and made all of the girls visions come true. My hair has also never been able to hold a curl, and Julia made magic happen! I could not recommend the Teal Hair team enough!

The girls at Teal are so lovely, kind, thoughtful, and patient! They made everything so fun and beautiful on our special day! Not only are they super talented and skilled but are genuinely personable during your day -- they make you and your makeup party feel comfortable and your absolute best! STYLING: I wanted my hair down, exaggerated part with sweeping volume and curls (my hair is naturally very straight and I was worried my hair would not hold a curl.) They understood the texture of my hair as well as everyone else in the wedding party! My hair stayed in all the way until the last dance. Bride makeup - I wanted "glam look, but still natural". Lydia came with multiple lengths of lashes and we landed on a medium length which was perfect for the day. Based on what I wanted she also recommended no airbrush but made my face contoured without feeling sticky. Basically any/all skills the real studio CAN do with confidence -- but I appreciate that they want to find the makeup style/technique that works best for you. MOST IMPORTANT: We also had a very diverse wedding party - with ranges of light/fair skin to olive & dark complexions. This was ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that we found a team who was well versed in a wide range of skin complexions and hair textures/ styles. Teal studio made everyone look and feel TRULY beautiful for the wedding, hire Lydia and team!!!!

TEAL was an amazing part of my wedding day. From the initial inquiry to signing the contract to the trial to the big day. Julia was amazing and so personable and informative. She tried a few different styles on my hair at my trial (loved both) and really nailed the make up look I was looking for! On my wedding day, she also had artist Nikky with her, who is equally as awesome!! I would highly recommend Julia and TEAL Studio to any bride in search of hair and make up artists for their wedding day. Thank you so much Julia and thank you Nikky!!

We really can’t imagine having any other team of hair and makeup superheroes with us on our wedding day! Lydia and Julia were incredible — the best combo of absolutely wonderful humans and such talented hair stylists and makeup artists. They were a professional, fun, calming, and joyful presence on the morning of our wedding. We all loved hanging out with them, and we were over the top happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. They truly listened to and understood us, and did everything with so much care, attention to detail, warmth, and compassion. I was looking for a studio that had experience in Asian hair and make-up. Unfortunately, Lypor, the former owner of the studio had recently left. However, the staff was excellent. I was looking for a hair stylist who could do a textured up-do and natural light make-up. The trial was a huge success. I could not be more pleased with the results. The team was also incredibly professional. They were on-time, made all six of my bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law comfortable and beautiful. We were efficient and we ran according to schedule. They each had incredible kits and set-ups that adapted to the hotel room we were in. We were very concerned about COVID and all of the artists wore masks at the trial and on the wedding day. My hair and wedding lasted all night--including dancing all night long. And after the trial, my hair stayed in place even while I was on an intense Peloton ride :) Lovely staff, highly recommend!

I chose TEAL Hair and Makeup Studio as the hair and makeup team for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother and MIL, and I am so glad that I did! I don’t normally wear that much makeup, but their team was so helpful and so friendly that I felt comfortable working with them from start to finish. I had my hair and makeup trial with Lydia, and she was very understanding and responsive while we talked through my vision for the day. She absolutely delivered on the results, and my wedding day was no different. She brought Julia and Erin with her, and the whole team worked together seamlessly to get us all ready for the day. My girls looked effortlessly beautiful; even by the end of the day, with the hot weather, and the hours of dancing, our hair and makeup held up great! TEAL salon was incredible, they made me look perfect on my wedding day! I was lucky enough to work with Lydia. I had a trial with her, and every decision she made complemented my face structure and coloring. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. My makeup looked natural and elegant, and my hair was exactly what I hoped for. Lydia was also receptive and encouraging of feedback from the trial to make sure everything would be exactly right. TEAL worked with each of my bridesmaids to give them the look they wanted day of, and they were gracious and flexible when I needed to switch out one appointment for another. They were cheery and complimentary of my choices and the venue and made me confident that everything was going to go off just right. I loved working with Teal for my wedding hair and makeup. From the very beginning Lydia (their wedding coordinator) was very responsive and helpful via email, providing a detailed schedule well ahead of the wedding date. Devin was my lead stylist and she was so attentive during my bridal trial, making sure I was happy with every little detail. Then on the day of, I wanted to make a few changes and she executed flawlessly! I was initially nervous about hair/makeup and not feeling myself since I don't wear much makeup normally, and Devin made the whole process easy for me and I was really happy with the end result. Also, Lydia and Erin helped with the bridesmaids on the day of and they were both great. Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. Don't hesitate to book with Teal!

Lydia did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and I have never felt so beautiful. I loved her collaborative approach but she was such a pro that I ended up deferring to her expertise. She and her team did a great job with my extended family as well - managing some difficult personalities with ease. From my trial to my wedding day, Lydia put me at ease. She was able to make me look like the best version of myself and my hair stayed gorgeous for for 4 days even after my half up-do was out. As someone who doesn't wear makeup often or have professional make up done ever, I was worried about the investment and I appreciated how important the trial was to them (since it was so important to me). I also love the products they use and ended up buying a few products she used on me. I cannot recommend them enough.

We hired TEAL Hair and Makeup for our wedding after they did my sister's wedding a few months before. Julia was our main stylist and Lydia worked with her. They were both amazing. They showed up so early to the venue and got everyone done ahead of schedule. When I needed a pen at one point Lydia said "here you go." They are so prepared and my wife and I even want to drive the extra time to their salon now to get our hair done there in the future. We love them so much!

Working with TEAL Hair & Makeup was one of the bets decisions I made in planning my wedding. Not only were they always prompt in responding, their prices were fair and the work done was magnificent. Lydia my main stylist took the time to listen to me during my trial and took my notes into consideration to give me a style for my wedding day that I was beyond happy with. Not only did Lydia style all of our hair beautifully (and make us feel gorgeous!), she also was so easy to get along with and made getting ready that morning as stress-free as possible - We even finished ahead of schedule! She was great at making sure each of us looked exactly how we envisioned, even my mom who is very picky about her hair and was nervous about picking a MOB look. The conversation flowed easily, and we all felt like she was one of the group! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience, which as the bride and a bit of a worry-wart/perfectionist, I GREATLY appreciated. My own hair was exactly what I'd imagined for my wedding day! When I first decided on a style (based on Pinterest photos) I was worried my hair wouldn't cooperate, but Lydia made it happen! Beginning with the trial, she listened to all of my requests and concerns and made sure it was exactly what I wanted, she even said I could email any questions from other bridal party members as well if they were worried about their own style ideas. Lydia and her team did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my 6 bridesmaids and me. They were punctual, stayed on schedule, and were flexible with styles and touch-ups throughout the morning. They were easy to work with and to communicate with; they even came to where we were getting ready. 10/10 would recommend!

I found my new regular hair salon after years of just using coupons at this place and that place. TEAL makes you feel at home and comfortable in their salon and as a part of your wedding experience. I had the pleasure of using them for my ceremony last year and postponed reception this year along with my mom and bridesmaids and we could not have been more happy with the work that Julia and Margaret did. Everyone felt so comfortable and beautiful. They both arrived early enough to set up and were just so fun to be around. I can't say enough good things about the team at TEAL and their prices are truly reasonable for the Boston area. Lydia, the head wedding coordinator is very responsive with emails as well as flexible even when I had a last minute change. TEAL Hair and Makeup Studio did the hair and make up for my wedding on October 22, 2021. They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. We had to reschedule our wedding twice and were luck enough to rebook with Teal each time. Day of they showed up right on time and work quickly to transform 8 bridesmaid, 2 moms and myself the bride. Everyone loved there hair and make up and it lasted great throughout the entire evening.

I had the best experience hiring Teal for my wedding hair and makeup. I did a trial a few months prior to my wedding and Julia absolutely nailed what I wanted after showing her just one picture! Day of, two stylists were very promptly at the hotel and got through all of the bridesmaids/mother of bride and groom/myself with time to spare for touch ups. Everyone loved their hairstyles and commented about how their makeup stayed on all night, crying and all! I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the night! I loved working with TEAL Hair and Makeup studio for my wedding. Christina made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and helped guide me to an amazing hair and makeup look. I am not very well-versed in hair and makeup but she helped me choose a style that looked amazing with my dress. I also wanted a natural look that would also look good in photos and she delivered this request amazingly! I also had a lot of fun working with her and typically I HATE getting my hair done. If I lived closer to her salon, I would go to her for everything!

The talented team helped amplify everyone’s natural beauty, and everyone looked and felt so confident. They were incredibly easy to work with and do such gorgeous work. After researching and reaching out to multiple salons for hair and makeup for my wedding I am so happy I found TEAL! I found the process with TEAL very easy and stress free compared to other salons I had reached out to. Lydia answered any of my questions and was a great point of contact throughout. TEAL made me and my bridal party look beautiful for my wedding day! I worked with Lydia for my engagement photos and my wedding day look. We had a consultation, and then about a week before my wedding I changed my mind about the hairstyle I wanted. Lydia adapted quickly and made sure every hair was in place exactly how I wanted it for my wedding day! Erin and Pebbles did great hair and makeup on everyone and were very patient with mom as she changed her mind once or twice. Looks stayed put well though dancing! Communication was quick and easy!

I’ve been going to Teal since 2014 and working as a freelance makeup artist since 2018 so I know these ladies well. Lydia is fantastic to work with as a wedding coordinator - very responsive and helpful in determining timeline and what you need. Julia was fantastic as my lead stylist. She really listened to what I wanted during my trial and was quick to follow up and ask about anything I wanted different. Both she and Lydia were very accommodating when I decided to do my own makeup for the wedding, they helped me figure out the schedule so I could have someone else use my time! Devin and Julia did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party. Julia is an absolute wizard with hair and got my thick heavy hair to hold up for the entire night! We booked TEAL hair and makeup studio for our August 6, 2021 wedding. It was one of the best decisions! I worked with Lydia for hair and she was so professional, organized and truly so talented. Lydia arrived well before the scheduled time and was able to get all the girls done early and ahead of schedule. All the bridesmaids looked so beautiful and everyone loved their hair. I gave Lydia minimal instructions of what I was looking for (“just a loose updo that was soft and would last all night— I trust you” I said) and she was able to craft up the most beautiful updo of my dreams! We are so grateful to Lydia for all her hard work!!

We loved working with Teal for my wedding day! They did the hair and makeup for myself, my mother, and my six bridesmaids. Everyone had a different idea of what they wanted done and they were all so happy with the finished product! I worked with Olivia for the trial and the day of. She really helped me come up with the best hairstyle that worked with my curly hair. She was great to work with and very open to any changes I decided on between the trial and the wedding. We were all especially thankful for the makeup that was done! It was 100 degrees on the day of my wedding and everything still looked great at the end of the day despite the heat! Lydia and the team made getting ready for the wedding so easy! Lydia is the nicest person and put me at ease (even with rainy weather approaching!) There were 10 of us getting hair/makeup done, and the ladies worked at a great pace. Everyone listened to what me and my girls envisioned and both hair and makeup came out perfect. It ended up being a very hot and muggy night and all of the bridesmaids’ updos held steady. We also received compliments on our makeup all night. Overall, the team was pleasant and punctual and did great work. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Lydia and the TEAL team were absolutely incredible for my wedding hair and makeup. Every lady in the bridal party looked stunning and was extremely happy with how the hair and makeup came out. They are truly talented at what they do. Lydia was very helpful and communicative during the months leading up to the wedding with my trial and even dyed my extensions for me! On the day of the wedding, the ladies were on time, set up quickly, and finished with time to spare. We could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team and the prices were definitely reasonable.

I used TEAL for my hair stylists on my wedding day this past Friday, November 16. I don't even know where to begin. Lypor was the stylist for myself, my 4 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. She is beyond talented. We all had such different ideas for what we wanted, showing her pictures from pinterest, etc. There was no hesitation on Lypor's behalf that she could not only do the styles we all wanted, but actually do them BETTER! Everyones hair came out PERFECT! I was so anxious about my hair, knowing that it really is the icing on the cake for the whole look on your wedding day. She knocked my bridal updo out of the park and I truly could not have felt better about it. Aside from her talent and knowledge of hair styling, Lypor was professional. She was on time and stayed on time throughout the day, which is huge when you're trying to get 7 women ready for such a big day. Throughout the planning process she was responsive and helpful at the trial as well. I can't recommend this studio, and specifically this stylist, to enough people. I found Teal Hair & Makeup Studio researching online and based on good Yelp reviews, decided to make a visit in for a haircut and get a sense. I had recently moved to the area, and my previous hair stylist no longer did weddings, so I was a little lost. Everyone at Teal was friendly, professional and services lived up to the reviews. I booked the wedding with one of the owners, Lypor, who also now styles my hair. Lypor is very talented, friendly and fun to spend time with. This was important as we spent many hours together in the bridal suite the day of the wedding. Lypor did hair for six of us total and makeup for me. Everything turned out beautifully! I would highly recommend Lypor and love to support a local, woman-run business!

I am so glad we hired TEAL to do our hair and makeup. We worked with Olivia, Julia, and Margaret, who were all wonderful. Olivia did my hair and makeup and I was amazed! It was exactly what I wanted. I felt very glamorous but not too "done up". I had 10 bridesmaids (yikes!) and the ceremony was at 2 pm so the ladies arrived at 6:30 am to start getting everyone ready!! We were finished ahead of schedule and everything ran really smoothly. Additionally, their pricing is excellent! I highly recommend TEAL, especially Olivia, for wedding hair and makeup.

My bridesmaids and I worked with Lypor, Lydia, and Pebbles for my June 2018 wedding and they could not have been more amazing! They are all so professional and timely, while still being so fun to work with and down to earth. From the start of the trail I knew I wanted to work with Lypor. I told her my vision and she had so many good ideas that I ended up using. She's so easy to talk to and just wants you to be honest with her so that she can give you exactly what you want. I was so happy with how the trial came out that I booked her while still in the salon! On the wedding day, Lypor brought Lydia and Pebbles to work on hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and everyone was so impressed with their work! My bridal hair and makeup was even better than the trial and I couldn't have been happier with how everything came out. I highly recommend Lypor and her team for any event!

TEAL hair & makeup was amazing! Book them! Their rates were the best that I found and I had 7 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid, 2 mothers and myself - a lot of people! They were WAY ahead of schedule and even added one more person for makeup at the end. My bridesmaids and I do not typically wear a ton of heavy makeup and they did such a great job of making everyone look so naturally beautiful. Everyone loved their hair/makeup. I couldn't gush about Olivia and the girls enough.

Lypor did my hair sister and sister in laws make up for their wedding and I knew I had to book her for my wedding. She did my hair and make up as well as the bridal party and everybody looked gorgeous. She listens to what everyone wants, patient and paid attention to all of the little details. I wouldn't have chose anyone else to do our hair and makeup.

Lypor did a beautiful job with my hair and makeup for the wedding. She knew exactly how to recreate the hair/makeup I wanted from the pictures I showed her, and then was very responsive after the trial to making the adjustments I wanted for the big day. On the wedding itself I was very happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. I chose a low, textured updo for my hair. I am also an Asian bride and find that some makeup artists unfamiliar with my features overdo the makeup or make it unflattering, but Lypor's makeup was on point. It was dramatic enough for pictures but also did not completely obliterate my features. I would definitely recommend Lypor to help make you look and feel beautiful on your wedding day!

Jessica did an amazing job on hair and makeup for my wedding back in October 2015! We had our first makeup trial about 2 months before the wedding. She listened to everything that I asked for and always made sure that I knew what products she was using on my face. I went back for a second trial because I changed my mind about how I wanted my eye makeup to be done and Jessica was very profesional and understanding. As for the hair, I brought in many different hair styles because I could not pick just one. Jessica was very good at helping me pick the style that was more fitting with my face frame! On the day of the wedding, my junior bridemaid decided at the last minute that she wanted to get her hair done, Jessica was more than happy to work her magic! The one thing that I asked Jessica during our trials was to make me still look like myself even with makeup on and she did just that! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience and I couldn't be happier with how everything turn out!

I worked with Lypor and her team for my September wedding. From the beginning, we had great rapport, and I benefited from Lypor's vision and expertise on beauty matters. The trial was a wonderful and fun experience, which only made me more excited for the actual big day. On the wedding day, Lypor and Lam arrived super-early to our hotel (3:30 a.m.) to start hair and makeup. They were upbeat and a fun addition to our crew. By the end, we were almost all crying over how beautiful we felt and looked. And their work endured for the entire day - almost 14 hours of fun! I would definitely suggest Lypor and her team to anyone for day-of hair and makeup services. They are worth the investment, and their expertise shines through!

Jessica and Pebbles did an absolutely amazing job on hair and make up for my wedding. They arrived on time at 9:00 AM and got right to work. I watched them complete 8 hair and 4 make up sessions on schedule and with ease. Each one of the bridesmaids requested a different hair style and Jessica / Pebbles pulled each one off without a hitch. All of the girls were thrilled with their hair and make up. Also, the fact that Teal Salon can do both hair and make up was a huge benefit for me, as a bride, it is one less thing to organize and coordinate! Jessica was my makeup and hair stylist and she was great to work with throughout the entire process. In the beginning, I was undecided as to what I wanted to do with my hair and make up. Jessica was extremely patient and accommodating through 2 hair trials. The final product on my wedding day was absolutely perfect. Thank you Jessica and Pebbles!!

Lypor is fabulous! She did my hair & makeup for my wedding and I have never felt as beautiful as I did that day. She did an amazing job! My maid of honor even said her hair was better that day than her own wedding day! She is so easy going and she was open to all of my preferences.
