As someone who barely wears makeup, Lydia made me feel so comfortable and was able to help me find what made me look and feel my best. After my bridal trial, Lydia asked for my feedback and on my wedding day incorporated all my feedback into my final look. I truly looked and felt my best! Lydia started getting me ready around 9:30 AM and by the end of my wedding day (well after midnight) my hair and makeup was still looking great! Lydia thoughtfully provided me with some hairspray which I ended up using after my ceremony and before my reception. Everyone else that got their hair and makeup done by Lydia loved how their looks turned out and all mentioned how impressed they were by Lydia’s ability to stay on schedule while also having great conversations and making everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful. All I can say is book Lydia — you will not be disappointed!

There wasn't a lot to change, but Lydia brought notes from the trial to refer back to and nothing needed to be changed on my wedding day. She is so professional and extremely kind. Prices for their services were great as well. If you haven't booked them already, get on it!

After my hair and makeup trial in August I noticed my hairstyle was slipping a bit after a few hours, so for the wedding day I asked Erin to make it extra secure, and sure enough, that hair did. not. budge!! I was dancing and jumping around like crazy and both my hair and makeup stayed flawless the whole night. TEAL was so easy to work and communicate with! I would highly recommend them to any bride!!

y searches, and as very close to my wedding location, so I went in for a trial with Julia. The studio is immaculate, and Julia was open to trying many hairstyles on me. I also wanted minimal makeup, and she was able to accomplish the look that I was going for. The day of the wedding the team fit right in with the flow, and made all of the girls visions come true. My hair has also never been able to hold a curl, and Julia made magic happen! I could not recommend the Teal Hair team enough!

Not only are they super talented and skilled but are genuinely personable during your day -- they make you and your makeup party feel comfortable and your absolute best! STYLING: I wanted my hair down, exaggerated part with sweeping volume and curls (my hair is naturally very straight and I was worried my hair would not hold a curl.) They understood the texture of my hair as well as everyone else in the wedding party! My hair stayed in all the way until the last dance. Bride makeup - I wanted "glam look, but still natural". Lydia came with multiple lengths of lashes and we landed on a medium length which was perfect for the day. Based on what I wanted she also recommended no airbrush but made my face contoured without feeling sticky. Basically any/all skills the real studio CAN do with confidence -- but I appreciate that they want to find the makeup style/technique that works best for you. MOST IMPORTANT: We also had a very diverse wedding party - with ranges of light/fair skin to olive & dark complexions. This was ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that we found a team who was well versed in a wide range of skin complexions and hair textures/ styles. Teal studio made everyone look and feel TRULY beautiful for the wedding, hire Lydia and team!!!!

On my wedding day, she also had artist Nikky with her, who is equally as awesome!! It was so important to us that we looked and felt like ourselves on our wedding day, and Lydia and Julia truly nailed it. We’re so happy we found them. My wife had a massive spreadsheet of literally hundreds of hair stylists and makeup stylists we were considering in the New England area, and we were searching for the perfect mix of stylists who were talented, down to earth, and affordable. And we absolutely hit the jackpot with Teal. The whole team was great throughout the entire process, and we would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They’re the best!

I was looking for a hair stylist who could do a textured up-do and natural light make-up. The trial was a huge success. I could not be more pleased with the results. The team was also incredibly professional. They were on-time, made all six of my bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law comfortable and beautiful. We were efficient and we ran according to schedule. They each had incredible kits and set-ups that adapted to the hotel room we were in. We were very concerned about COVID and all of the artists wore masks at the trial and on the wedding day. My hair and wedding lasted all night--including dancing all night long. And after the trial, my hair stayed in place even while I was on an intense Peloton ride :) Lovely staff, highly recommend!

Lydia was also receptive and encouraging of feedback from the trial to make sure everything would be exactly right. TEAL worked with each of my bridesmaids to give them the look they wanted day of, and they were gracious and flexible when I needed to switch out one appointment for another. They were cheery and complimentary of my choices and the venue and made me confident that everything was going to go off just right. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for me, and can’t recommend them enough to anyone else. Such great value for the pricing, too!!

Then on the day of, I wanted to make a few changes and she executed flawlessly! I was initially nervous about hair/makeup and not feeling myself since I don't wear much makeup normally, and Devin made the whole process easy for me and I was really happy with the end result. Also, Lydia and Erin helped with the bridesmaids on the day of and they were both great. Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. Don't hesitate to book with Teal!

She was able to make me look like the best version of myself and my hair stayed gorgeous for for 4 days even after my half up-do was out. As someone who doesn't wear makeup often or have professional make up done ever, I was worried about the investment and I appreciated how important the trial was to them (since it was so important to me). I also love the products they use and ended up buying a few products she used on me. I cannot recommend them enough.

They showed up so early to the venue and got everyone done ahead of schedule. When I needed a pen at one point Lydia said "here you go." They are so prepared and my wife and I even want to drive the extra time to their salon now to get our hair done there in the future. We love them so much!

If this team is available for your date do not hesitate to book them! The 3 stylists arrived to my site on time and set up with no issues. Me, my 5 sisters/ SIL, the FOG and both of our mothers hair and makeup turned out so beautiful and everyone was done on time! I cannot recommend TEAL highly enough!

When I first decided on a style (based on Pinterest photos) I was worried my hair wouldn't cooperate, but Lydia made it happen! Beginning with the trial, she listened to all of my requests and concerns and made sure it was exactly what I wanted, she even said I could email any questions from other bridal party members as well if they were worried about their own style ideas. I had the pleasure of using them for my ceremony last year and postponed reception this year along with my mom and bridesmaids and we could not have been more happy with the work that Julia and Margaret did. Everyone felt so comfortable and beautiful. They both arrived early enough to set up and were just so fun to be around. I can't say enough good things about the team at TEAL and their prices are truly reasonable for the Boston area. Lydia, the head wedding coordinator is very responsive with emails as well as flexible even when I had a last minute change. You will not be disappointed going with TEAL for your wedding day or any special occasion!
