I understand that your wedding day will be one of the most cherished chapters in your love story. My passionate assistant photographers and I are dedicated to capturing the genuine emotions, candid smiles, and personalized details that make your day uniquely yours. From the iconic vibes of the PNW to intimate venue moments, we work carefully to weave artistry and love into every image. Each of our packages include 2 hours of travel time, full coverage of your ceremony, group, family & couples portrait session, post processing including your choice of color editing styles, B&W copies of each image and an average turn-around time of 4 weeks (sometimes as soon as a few days after your wedding). The main differences between the packages are their investment levels, hours of coverage, and the following: Tulip - ($1500 | Up to 4hrs) This introductory package includes one photographer and enough hours to cover your ceremony with an intimate portrait session, wedding party formals, and family formals either before or after the ceremony. This is the perfect package for small elopement style weddings. Due to the desirability of Saturday dates during our busy season, Saturday pricing for this package is $2000. Additional hours may be added for $250/hr. Lily- ($2500 | Up to 8hrs) This is our intermediate and most popular package. It includes full coverage of the average wedding day, start to finish. We'll be with you for those ever important "getting ready" images and formal/candid portraits, all the way through to the end of your reception and send-off. I think this package is a great choice for many couples because it strikes a great balance between price and coverage. Since we'll be with you all day, it gives you and your partner, as well as your guests a chance to relax and feel comfortable with having a camera around. This makes for the most dynamic and natural photos in our opinion. Additional hours can also be added for $100hr. Rose - ( $4000| 16 total hours) The Rose package offers the most comprehensive coverage and features couples could ever want. Full wedding day coverage with 2 photographers working every angle of every moment. A separate engagement session on a day of your choosing, magazine quality skin retouching on a selection of your favorite images and five gorgeous 13x19 semi-gloss art prints to display in your home. We also offer several a la carte additions which you can browse on our website. While you're there, please take a moment to browse through our extensive selection of sample albums! Duane was absolutely amazing! Not only do his photos capture all the emotions experienced throughout the day beautifully, but he also has a very professional, friendly demeanor which made us and everyone at the wedding feel so comfortable. We were also thrilled to receive most of our photos the day after our wedding! If you’re thinking about hiring Duane- DO IT. You will not regret it!

We recently worked with Duane as our wedding photographer and had a great experience overall. He was incredibly nice and communicative, making us feel at ease. On the wedding day, he handled an unexpected thunderstorm just before the ceremony with impressive flexibility, capturing beautiful moments despite the chaos. We are missing a few standard photos such as a solo bride / groom shot, and a formal portrait facing the camera. While we appreciate Duane’s adaptability, we felt that he could have taken more initiative to capture those key moments after the rain cleared, (there was a cocktail hour after the ceremony where he focused only on guests when the sun was out.) Overall, we love the stunning images he provided and would recommend him to other couples looking for a skilled photographer!

Duane is absolutely phenomenal! I was so worried that taking pictures was going to be boring and cut too much into the reception, but Duane made this process so much fun! He also listened to my vision and captured EVERYTHING I wanted. The pictures are amazing and better than I hoped. He is dedicated and has excellent communication. Don’t miss out on this, hire Duane!!

Duane was incredible! His was equally professional and personable. I was very nervous about being the center of attention and having a camera pointed at me all night, but Duane did not make it feel like that at all. He made me feel like he was just another guest. I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone needing photos done especially for a wedding!

Duane is hands down the absolute best and we couldn’t be happier with his photography services! From our first interaction, Duane was professional, capable, and made us feel right at ease. Duane worked with us through the planning process and really got to know us as a couple, which came through in his stunning photos. My partner and I were nervous at first since we had never been professionally photographed, but Duane guided us through the day, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and suggested truly incredible shots that I would have never thought of, but have led to some of my favorite pictures. We planned a micro-wedding in less than a month and turned to The Knot for Vendors. Duane’s profile drew me in along with his professionalism and light-heartedness. We booked his 4-hour Tulip package and he came along with a backpack full of ideas to capture our intimate, fun and family moments. He also was willing to accommodate our fun photo requests. Duane was easy to work with and brought great energy to the day. Our photos turned out better than we could have imagined! I would highly recommend Duane for your event!

I discovered Duane's website and was very impressed by his portfolio. The creative packages and pricing fit my budget, so I contacted Duane and had an intro call over Zoom. He was delightful to speak with and I quickly hired him, His communication was reliable and professional during the time leading up to the wedding. I experienced multiple mishaps on the morning of my wedding day (not related to Duane's work), and although I arrived at the venue, flustered, Duane was very calm and understanding. He was punctual, clear with his plan for taking photos during the day, and was flexible with the plan if others tried to change course. During the ceremony and reception, Duane was fabulous. He was so respectful and friendly to all of my friends and family. When there were tensions between members of the bridal party, his calming presence helped me maintain my composure. I was exceptionally impressed by his cultural competence -- he embraced the cultural nuances of my wedding with my Venezuelan and Cuban family and inlaws. Communication was easy with Duane after the wedding. The quality of his photos is spectacular. My husband, family, friends and I were extremely happy with our experience working with Duane and we highly recommend him!

Is there a 6 star option?! Duane asked us to leave a review if we were happy with the service that he and his team provided for us. Well...here I am! We chose the Rose package and the pictures we received were fabulous! They did a great job of adjusting to the last-minute changes in our schedule as well as making everyone feel comfortable having their pictures taken. Several of our guests came up to us during the wedding and told us how impressed they were with our photographer. 10/10 recommend :)

We hired Teal Rose to shoot our wedding last month and Duane and his assistant were both a pleasure to work with! It ended up raining all day so I probably wasnt the happiest or easiest to please but they were so understanding and accommodating. They were even able to send some of our favorite photos to our phones right there at the wedding. We haven't received all of our photos yet but the ones we've seen so far are stunning and I couldn't be happier. If you're thinking about booking with Teal Rose, just do it! We hired Duane for our wedding in August 2021. We loved his photo portfolio and felt like he was a great value for his quality. To make a long story short, we had to cancel at the last minute due to COVID. Duane was very understanding and let us take our time to decide if we wanted to reschedule (at no extra cost). Ultimately the canceled wedding ended up being quite traumatic (family member almost died from COVID), and it took me months to process and decide that we wouldn't be able to afford trying to have a wedding again. I finally reached out to Duane to tell him that we would not be having a replacement wedding, and was wondering if we could get at least a partial refund (during our initial conversations he had shared his intent to refund clients if needed due to COVID cancellations & we had paid the $1800 full package amount prior to the wedding). Unfortunately, due to a personal situation he wasn't able to refund us anything at the time. We did reach out two more times, and eventually got a response when we wrote a review, and have now received a refund for the non-deposit portion of the photography, which seems like the most fair way for this to end. I think Duane is ultimately a has a good personality and talent, and I wish we had a chance to have him photograph our wedding.

Duane is the absolute best! Not only is he extremely talented and thorough, but he's also so fun to hang out with! The entire day he made everything feel so natural and fun, we almost forgot we were being photographed all day. Our photos are so stunning. He got tons of them back to us in a matter of days, which is mind blowing because they're better than we could have imagined. 11/10 would recommend, you'll regret going with anyone else!

Duane did an awesome job. He made sure he knew exactly what we wanted before the party and at the party was all over but totally discreet and not in our face. The pictures turned out great and he was super fast in getting them to us. Recommend for sure.

Duane is amazing! My husband and I hired him to shoot our wedding in September and the photos turned out so much better than we could have imagined. Duane made us all feel so comfortable and did a great job wrangling our very large family for group shots. We were absolutely blown away by the candids he got during the reception. They truly capture the joy and love that everyone felt and we are so excited we get to relive that night through the amazing photos he took.

Duane was amazing! Great communication prior to the wedding was and very friendly and thorough. Fit in with our crowd and was patient and helpful. Also affordable. We had a great experience with Teal Rose and would definitely recommend! The photos are absolutely beautiful!!

If I could put more than 5 stars I would! Duane is the absolute best! He did my wedding last weekend and my photos turned out absolutely stunning!! He's truly amazing to work with, told us exactly how to pose which I totally appreciated and just made it fun. Highly recommend for any wedding or event! You won't regret it!!!!!

Duane was a superb photographer! He captured many special moments from our pre-wedding photoshoot throughout the ceremony and reception. He took incredible portraits, candid shots, family photos, and detail photos that will help us remember this day forever. He was also very personable and comfortable to be around. He guided me and my husband throughout the photoshoot process to create natural and beautiful pictures. He was extremely accommodating especially as we requested pictures with family and friends throughout the reception. I highly recommend Duane as a wedding photographer for your special day!

Duane is amazing we absolutely LOVED him! Teal rose photo was so easy to work with, and we got our photos back while on our honeymoon which was so fun. Duane had great communication, was super organized, and accommodating to us and our desires for the photos. We would absolutely recommend him! Duane did a FANTASTIC job with our engagement photos, and he will also be the photographer for our wedding next summer. My fiance and I are not always comfortable in front of the camera, but Duane is very personable and did an excellent job making us feel comfortable. We also included our dogs in the shoot, and Duane was extraordinarily patient while we rangled our dogs in the photos. He was communicative before and after the shoot and was very accomodating. Most importantly, our engagement photos came out beautifully! I highly recommend Duane!

Ooooh boy.... I'm not the best at writing about myself so bear with me! I guess it all started when my mother met my father and....jk! Originally from Malibu California, I decided 8 years into my military career that I'd much rather flex my artistic muscles behind a camera! Looking for a change of scenery, I moved up to Portland with my goofy Doberman in 2018 and have had the honor of capturing countless incredible love stories throughout the past 10 years. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me. More weddings, hikes, games of fetch, and amazing food sounds like a good start!
