l rushed. She was fun to hang out with for the day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist for their wedding! I would give her a 5 star review! I, however, did not love working with the Team Hair and Beauty company. Except on your trial and wedding day, you never talk to your actual stylist. You talk to two different event coordinators (Niki and Jess). I tried several times to call and talk to someone on the phone, but could never get through and no one ever called me back. I felt like the two coordinators didn’t communicate well with each other, as I would say something to one via email but that wouldn’t get shared with the other. My wedding planner and I both confirmed the start time with one coordinator, but they sent the stylist to our hotel room two hours early. I also felt like they nickel and dime you for everything, and it ended up being pretty expensive. Honestly, I tried hard not to book them, but they were one of the only companies that would come on-site for a small bridal party (which was important to me since my grandma isn’t very mobile). Overall, I don’t regret booking with them since I did love how Stephanie did all our hair and makeup, but Team Hair and Beauty was the toughest vendor to work with leading up to our wedding.

Everyone noted how much they appreciated the stylists asking what each individual was looking for, were comfortable with and continued to check-in prior to us leaving for the event. hair and makeup. Leah is THE BEST at not only hair and makeup, but also the best person ever. She made the entire getting ready process more fun and relaxing for me and my girlies. My hair and makeup lasted all day/night, even with the tears and sweat from dancing the night away. I highly recommend Leah and her team of makeup/hair styling goddesses!

My bridesmaids and I had so much fun hanging out with them while they were doing our hair and makeup on the wedding morning, they were basically part of our crew! And they did beautiful work, I absolutely love how everyone's hair and makeup turned out. The makeup is airbrushing so it's super lightweight and comfortable! I don't wear much makeup in real life, so Abby was also super flexible and understanding of the low-key look I was going for, and always made sure I was comfortable with what she was doing. (Also, tiny detail, but they were supposed to arrive at 7:45am and knocked on our door at 7:44. Like, you cannot get better than that on a stressful/busy day!) So grateful to have worked with these awesome women, can't recommend enough.

the wedding- stress relief! The schedule was perfectly timed, everyone was on time and super flexible. Abby and Hannah were friendly and enjoyable. They redirected on behalf of the bride tactfully if the hairstyles won't the best ideas and they executed beautiful hair and makeup.

ey were accommodating when it came to scheduling my hair/makeup trial. Whitney, our hair/makeup stylist was AMAZING. She was so knowledgeable about what would look best for my hair texture/length/skin tone and incorporated my requests as well! She showed up for the big day right on time and got through myself, all 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms all by herself in record time! I would highly recommend this group to anyone getting married in/near the Traverse City area! They helped me to have the best day and made me feel exceptionally beautiful! Also, to note, we did a first look and took our photos before the ceremony outside in a blizzard with high winds and my makeup never melted and my hair never moved!!

Hair was so secure that I jumped in the lake in the evening, and it still didn't fall out. My mom cried after they did her hair and makeup she was so happy with it. She feels like her hair is very thin and they made it thick and voluminous.

They were so kind, attentive, supportive, and gave advice that I desperately needed. ist. I came in for my trial and she asked to see my dress and helped choose a hair style based on the style of my dress and it was perfect. I felt instantly comfortable with her from the start of our trial and was excited for the big day to be here. Whittney and Niki came right on time to the sight where the bridal party was getting ready. They were extremely professional and also helped each girl find the perfect hair and makeup for their style dress and hair type. It was all so beautiful. They stuck right to the schedule and everyone was completed on time, if not before. I also chose the option to have Whittney stay after the main hair and makeup to come to the venue to help with touch-up services after pictures and before the ceremony. WOW. She went above and beyond to help me in every way. She was so professional and also helped the photographer get the wedding party together for pictures ( which isn't an easy task). I felt like she was a part of my day and a part of the family. She truly made my day so special and I don't think I can ever thank her enough. She also stayed after the ceremony ended to do one last touch-up on all my hair and makeup. She was phenomenal. Not to mention it was also her wedding anniversary and I want her to know how much I appreciated all her work and effort with me that day. She was the best I could have ever asked for. I will forever recommend Team Hair and Beauty to any bride in the area getting married. They are the best team around and put everything they have into making you feel so special on your big day. <3

h I cried through all my first looks and my ceremony. Shauna did my hair as well which was flawless, and all my girls looked SOOOO GOOD! As a wedding vendor myself, I was so impressed with the quality of their work, as well as the experience as a whole. They were so professional, so on top of things, and we ran ahead of schedule. I could not recommend them more, and honestly everyone should hire them.

ok the time to discuss inspiration photos to ensure that what she saw in the photo and how she would achieve that look aligned with what each woman wanted; she carefully communicated each part as she applied makeup (especially when eyes were closed), and she is a wonderful conversationalist who made each person feel comfortable. Myself, my two bridesmaids, my MIL, and my mother all looked stunning with styles that lasted all day! Team Hair and Beauty is busy for a very good reason--exceptionally knowledgeable, skilled, and wonderful women. You most definitely want them on your vendor team for your wedding!
