he summer of 2019. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and organized, so we felt she was the right choice for us. We also love that Team Wedding has some decorations in storage that you can request to use for your wedding! Ashton helped us to set up meetings with the rental company, catering, and other vendors which she also attended in case we needed her professional opinion. She also helped us rent a beautiful arbor from Marsh Made, which looked stunning in all of our wedding photos. Ashton was understanding and extremely helpful when we had to make significant alterations to our many vendor contracts due to postponing our big wedding to next year, but still had a very small backyard wedding on our original October 2020 date. We provided a lot of the decorations ourselves, which was basically a big pile of stuff including, but not limited to, a bunch of potted mums, pumpkins, fall themed bouquets, pine cones, fall themed garlands, and burlap table runners. We also had things like the wedding cake, cake toppers, and guest book that had to be set up too. Ashton just took everything and somehow used it to turn our wedding into something much more beautiful than anything we could have hoped for. After so many changes to our original wedding vision due to the pandemic and then also hurricane rain, we are deeply appreciative of everything Ashton did to help our wedding day be as special as it was. We are so thankful that we could just enjoy the day and did not have to worry about coordinating anything, because we were able to trust that Ashton could handle whatever came up and keep everything running smoothly. We highly recommend Ashton from Team Wedding to be the perfect wedding planner for your big day!

o this amazingly talented, fun lady! I’m sure I’m one of the only brides to have to postpone then plan 3 weddings and Ashton was here for me every step of the way! She guided me, supported me, and helped me get through the whole process with ease!! The day of the wedding she coordinated, decorated, set up, checked in with me through out the day, fixed my veil and dress and seriously took care of everything to make my dreams a reality!! Every detail, every decoration, every moment was truly breathtaking and I am so so so thankful we chose her! She took over so my mom could relax and that meant more to me than anything! Ashton just isn’t a wonderful planner but one of the sweetest most caring people I’ve ever met! If you need a planner, definitely choose Ashton with team wedding and you will not be disappointed!! It's hard for me to envision what things will look like without being there physically, and Team Wedding put me at ease and the wedding day of went off without a hitch (I seriously don't think there was ANYTHING that was wrong/went missing/etc - that or I don't know about it and I'm quite happy with that!) I'm so glad I chose Team Wedding to assist me (I'm already an anxious planner - so they really took care of the bigger stressors; especially from afar). You won't be disappointed!

ughout the months leading up to the big day, Marvyl was very helpful and answered all my questions. About a month before our wedding I got a call from our day of coordinator, Ashton. Right from the start she was amazing! She jumped right in and took over calling/emailing vendors and organizing my timeline. That took so much stress off me! She was so helpful at the rehearsal and I really don't know what I would have done without her on our wedding day. She was beyond exceptional, extremely supportive and her personality is incredible. She stepped in and stepped up in a big way and I am forever grateful.

although they worked hard, my vision was not carried out. Things were missing, also not set up like I asked. Items that I paid extra money for and had detailed for my event were not handed out. My cake topper was never even put on my cake. Overall, staff was nice but disappointed in services. Over promised - under delivered.

ck at Rocky Top. Well- ya girl had no idea what she was about to get herself into- really. I thought I could do it all on my own but I quickly realized I needed professional help. Ironically I was on Facebook at the right time- a friend of mine shared Team Wedding's page around New Years Day and mentioned that they had a promo- I was skeptical- I was scared to invest in a wedding planner (which sounds absolutely hysterical as I admit it today). I was in contact with Marvyl immediately to see what she had to offer- we already had a venue and date and ironically enough our date was her LAST AVAILABLE DAY IN OCTOBER OF 2017. I mentioned our venue and she immediately reassured me that she knew the place inside and out- she was not lying. Marvyl and I spoke throughout my entire engagement and we were in constant contact as we bounced ideas on and off each other. Our wedding was over capacity for the venue- our outdoor ceremony quickly turned into an indoor ceremony given East TN weather that turned dark, rainy, and cold. Marvyl took our guest count rented a tent- worked a ceremony seating arrangement that comfortably fit all guests inside- AMAZING. Absolutely the most amazing setup I could have ever imagined. Team wedding created the most cozy and unique wedding indoors. A guest literally said "they brought the outside in" and they REALLY DID. My family could not stop ranting and raving about Marvyl and her team- my mom boasted and bragged at the end of the night because that's just how smoothly everything went- and that's saying a lot coming from my mom. We did not have to lift one finger. At the wedding- I came to the realization that when you hire Marvyl, you not only hire a wedding planner- you hire a friend, a sister even- someone who is going to be on your side every step of the way whether it is dealing with the table linens or maybe an awkward family dynamic that you want to make sure goes smoothly- she is there to make sure you have the most KICK butt day- and boy did my husband and I.. it was the best day of our lives- and we owe it to not only all of our amazing vendors, but especially to Marvyl and Team Wedding. We love ya'll! I

From religion to colors to flowers she was supportive and kind (you end up knowing your wedding planner on a really personal level). PRO: She was basically a therapist for me. PRO: She handled family issues well. PRO: The setup and breakdown were timely, and she made the reception look GORGEOUS! Seriously it was amazing. PRO: She helped with invitations and made the meal cards/programs. PRO: She has connections with vendors in Knoxville, and found us the most perfect photographer. PRO: She ended up announcing/DJing the wedding itself. PRO: Basically she just went above and beyond on everything, she's super friendly and easy to work with. The only CON: The budget. She forgot about table/gratuity/flatware fees with our caterer and our catering ended up being like two thousand more than we expected. She also had a coupon for 50% off our invitations, but it expired the day before we ordered and we only got like 20% off. Still good, but she should have been more on top of that. Overall Marvyl and team wedding were wonderful, and I am very glad we went with her. She made so many things happen that I couldn't have done on my own. She really made it a dream day. I would say just stay on top of your budget and it'll be great!

Marvyl is absolutely worth it. She took care of everything on the day of and so much more. From use of her inventory down to making sure all the details of the reception were immaculate, Marvyl took care of it all. I spent a relaxing morning getting ready with my girls, then snuggling on my hubby to be at our first look, and when it was time to go down for the ceremony Marvyl retrieved us and I went down and married the love of my life. It was such an amazing and special day and I can't imagine the stress/anxiety I would have had if it weren't for Marvyl. She is simply the best and executes her job with professionalism, grace, and an infectious calming smile. Book her and Team Wedding, you won't regret it.

ed to get married in Knoxville. Planning a wedding out of state isn’t easy. In fact, it’s freaking hard. But the moment I hopped on a call with Marvyl my nerves were put at ease. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her attention to detail is thorough enough to make my Type A-self chill out and enjoy the process. My husband and I were open in terms of what we were looking for design wise, but the main thing we wanted was color, color, color. All we knew is that our friend was painting us a bright, jewel-tone backdrop for the wedding—and Marvyl went with it. From collecting a garage-full of gorgeous jewel-tone vases and knick-knacks to scoring us the best of the best vendors, she rocked it with minimal guidance. In fact, within 48 hours of our first conversation, she drafted up a two-page, super-detailed plan for our wedding day. KILLED IT. I spoke with multiple other coordinators in the Knoxville area and Maryvl scored the gig hands down. As the wedding day got closer, Marvyl was my confidant, therapist, designer, and best friend all in one. Both our officiant and DJs were relatively new to the wedding game and Marvyl guided them, along with our wedding party and families, with ease. From completing vendor contracts to providing everyone with a timeline of logistics, she made our lives so much easier. I have a difficult time trusting folks when it comes to big projects and I had 100% faith that she’d execute. And boy did she. I knew the ceremony and reception space were stunning when my bridesmaids walked up to the bridal suite crying after seeing it for the first time. The flowers, lighting, tablescapes, everything were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. As the night drew to a close, Maryvl and her ace team cleaned the Standard from top to bottom so we could enjoy our afterparty down the street at Barleys. Marvyl could have gone home and passed out from working a 17-plus hour day, but she swung by the party and gave me a final hug. This girl is incredible and I’m so proud to call her a friend. If you want a fun, beautiful wedding that you’re still dreaming about days after (speaking from experience) Marvyl and Team Wedding are your go-tos.
