Teddy Transou is a classically-trained, fingerstyle guitarist based out of Jacksonville, FL. His aim is not only to provide beautiful, custom guitar arrangements of any song you request, but also to make a genuine connection with you and your partner throughout the wedding planning process so he is able to deliver the music of your dreams on wedding day. Teddy carefully arranges each tune from scratch, spending 30-40 hours per song to include all of the delicious nuances of a well-made solo guitar cover. He will have your mom crying during the pre-ceremony music, your friends and family feeling all of the emotions as you walk down the aisle, and the whole crowd dancing and singing along to tunes during cocktail hour. Teddy has played weddings all throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, while also having traveled internationally for luxury destination weddings. His passion is to understand the vision for your wedding and be able to create the perfect musical backdrop for you and your partner.

Awesome! You have a great performance and we could not have asked for anything more. He was able to learn a song in five days which was played perfectly. Definitely Recommend.

Teddy is a great communicator, enthusiastic, and fun to work with. He created a custom song for my ceremony and has a great list of songs he currently plays. He is super chill and I highly recommend!

Teddy is an EXCELLENT guitarist! He has a huge repertoire of familiar favorites and he is incredibly talented. Teddy is really easy to plan with and has played at 3 of my company’s dinner events to create a beautiful ambiance of background music that everyone can enjoy. We continue to invite him back because of the quality of his performances! Teddy is very responsive and will take music requests. His style of play is beautiful where you get the full body of the piece, but with a strong melody to make each song easily recognizable. My favorite part of Teddy’s performances is to watch our guests recognize their favorites and begin to sing along. He also is very economical, brings all of his own equipment, and is just very pleasant to be around in the first place. He makes working with him very easy and fun. I couldn’t recommend his talents more for your event, wedding, etc.

Teddy was amazing at our wedding! We had him play during the ceremony and during cocktail hour. We heard nothing but compliments all night from our guests. He was very easy to communicate with and very easy going. One of our guests even loved him so much that he got his info for his upcoming wedding. I would definitely recommend Teddy for your wedding!

Teddy was the guitarist during our destination wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He did an excellent job, and we thoroughly enjoyed having him join us. We gave him 3 songs to play during the ceremony, but he was able to continue to play from his own catalogue during the cocktail hour. He was very accommodating as we reached out to him last minute. Highly recommend him for weddings or other gatherings.

My story with Teddy is a unique one...I was in a desperate pinch 10 days before my destination wedding to find an acoustic guitarist. I scoured the internet and social media for performers and blindy started reaching out to see WHO in their right mind would fly to the Dominican Republic with a week's notice and play at my ceremony and cocktail hour. And that's where our story began... Teddy is a five-star performer all the way around. He was extremely responsive, talented, trustworthy, eager to please, and truly took all of my music stresses away - I can't thank him enough. He was a hit amongst all of our guests and he truly set the tone for our entire evening. I had three song requests for the ceremony and he hit them all out of the park. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an acoustic guitarist for their big day. Thank you Teddy!!

I hired teddy to play for our ceremony, and he was fantastic. Not only did he learn the songs for myself and my bridesmaid, he sent samples to make sure it was what I was looking for. He is very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend him as a musician for your big day.

My husband and I were looking for live wedding music during our ceremony that would welcome our guests and set the tone for our dream beach wedding. Teddy did such an amazing job. His music is wonderful, he learned our favorite song that I walked down the aisle to, and he was on time and professional.
