Since 2018, Lizzie and I have formed a dynamic photography duo. My journey in photography spans over a decade, with a deep-rooted passion for wedding photography kindled by the guidance of professional mentors. The allure of capturing the joy and intimate moments of a couple's happiest day, while helping them stay centered on each other, steered me towards specializing in wedding photography. One of my favorite things is putting together a plan, executing it and having satisfied customers when all is said and done.

Josh made my wedding pictures a wonderful experience! He was kind, professional, reassuring & very friendly. Photos can be a stressful situation but Josh ensured that it was a fun, creative experience that we genuinely enjoyed! He not only had great ideas for photos but made great use of our very limited time before the ceremony. We had a fantastic experience with Josh & truly cannot recommend him enough!

They took the time to understand our vision and made the whole experience feel natural, fun, and so special. The photos perfectly captured our relationship and we couldn't be more appreciative!
Their eye for light, detail, and composition is incredible, and they made our cherry blossom shoot feel like a dream. We’ll treasure these photos forever and truly can’t thank them enough. Joshua and Elizabeth were very accommodating and professional, and so easy to work with! Getting pictures taken are not one of my favorite things to do, but Tell It Well helped to make things natural and comfortable, I really appreciated that they had great customer relationships. In terms of photography, they were really able to capture all of the emotion and energy from our big day. Joshua didn't miss a single moment! My husband & I love our wedding pictures and the joy they captured. Thank you guys!!

Joshua did an absolutely marvelous job capturing our big day, working with the occasionally overstimulated bride (guilty!,) shifting nimbly and easily from posed portraiture to more in-the-moment documentary style, and fitting in perfectly with our intimate and offbeat event. His photos came out gorgeously and we will treasure these incredible memories for the rest of our lives. He had some brilliant ideas for shots that came out amazingly well! Multiple guests pointed out how wonderfully he fit into the day - never obtrusive, always friendly and upbeat, and managed to get some of the best photos I've ever seen of many of my friends and family. If I could give Josh, Elizabeth and Tell It Well 20 out of 5 stars, I would!

The absolute best!! I would 100% recommend Tell It Well Photography to anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer. Josh and Lizzie were professional and knowledgeable from our first email inquiry to the moment we received our finished photos. Josh made us feel comfortable on the day of the wedding, and our photos are absolutely perfect. The price was amazing for two photographers and for the quality of images that we received. We can't recommend them enough!

Josh and Liz were amazing to work with for our engagement session. They were so accommodating and helpful with suggesting how to choose outfits and how to pose in a very candid and natural way that was flattering for us both. We fell in love with their photography style before meeting them, and the pictures exceeded expectations. We look forward to having them photograph our wedding day!

Tell It Well Photography offer an incredibly professional service. The care and attention to detail from the initial consultation through to the event was incredible. Weddings are stressful but having experienced competent and creative professionals who care about their trade makes a big difference. We felt at ease throughout the process and their methodical approach to planning meant that we didnt miss capturing key moments as they had thought of everything so we didn’t have to. The photos we have of our wedding are cherished memories that bring us joy to revisit time and again. We can’t thank Joshua and Elizabeth enough. Highly recommended.

Josh and Lizzie are an absolute photography power couple!! I can't say enough about how wonderful these two are! They did our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. They all turned out so amazing and so beautiful! The whole process of working with them, from our in-person consultation through our big day, couldn't have been easier. They were willing to work with us to make sure we got everything we wanted with our package and they were always available when we had questions or needed support. They ended up being so much more than a hired vendor; they became dear friends.
I should also mention that my husband and I aren't big picture people, but Josh and Lizzie gave us direction on how to pose and it felt very comfortable and natural. They did a great job of capturing our love and our story. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I cannot recommend them enough! Josh and Elizabeth did our engagement shoot and wedding. Both times they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and they got the shots we wanted. We didnt have a coordinator or planner and they even gave us timeline samples and tips for the day that made the whole process a lot smoother. They also were incredibly flexible with us as we had to change the venue and schedule for our photos the DAY before the wedding. I am so happy with all of the pictures from the day and everything Josh and Elizabeth did for us to make our wedding less stressful!

We used Tell It Well Photography for our wedding and were blown away with the results. They were very easy to work with and really helped capture our special day. They were very organized and sent us a detailed document to help us structure our time in a way that allowed us to capture all our special moments. On the day of the wedding, Joshua and Elizebeth showed up a few hours early just to scout out the area for more shooting locations. They found some beautiful areas for us and were very creative with their ideas. We were able to get all the pictures we wanted and never felt rushed. We highly recommend using them!

Groom here, My bride and I did it right by using Tell It Well Photography. She wanted an engagement session and Tell It Well did such a great job during that session that we used their photos for the Save The Date and the Invitations. During that session they taught us some poses that really saved time on the one day where time is the enemy (wedding day).
If you are here reading this, it means you do your research, I do too - I found too many options where "Someone" will be sent on behalf of the agency. Tell It Well is the furthest from that, not only do you get to meet with your photographer and learn their name, but it's actually 2 people! We provided them with our schedule and they did pretty much everything else, we aren't photographers so we trusted them to find the best shots and in many cases, they had the best shot from 2 different angles. This duo set our expectations ahead of time and still managed to exceed them. Just call them already.

Josh and Liz have been amazing to work with. We have already had an engagement shoot and had a "quarantine wedding". Both times they made us look amazing and we couldn't be happier with the results. Not only do they have great ideas, they are able to capture the special natural moments. We are looking forward to working with them again next year for our postponed big wedding with family and friends.
