Telluride Presents proprietor Kathleen Bonneau has lived in Telluride since 2002. Beginning with the Telluride Jazz Celebration, she has been involved with a number of noteworthy events ever since, including Telluride Film Festival, Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, and New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. She worked as Special Events and Marketing Director for the Ah Haa School for the Arts for 12 years where she created and managed the wedding/event rental sales and marketing, spearheaded more than ten live art auction fundraising events, and planned numerous gala events. Having worked as a wedding planner since 2009, Kathleen combines her exceptional knowledge of the Telluride community and experience in the event industry to make each client's most special event come true.

From day one, Kathleen was organized, responsive, and began moving everything forward. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and then elevated it in ways we never would have thought of ourselves. Every recommendation—from vendors to design elements—was spot on and perfectly suited to the setting. Kathleen has great relationships with local vendors in Telluride, which helped streamline the planning process.
As you can imagine, logistics for a mountain wedding could be a challenge, but everything came together seamlessly. Transportation, timing and weather conditions were all taken into consideration. Rachel stepped in as our Day-Of Coordinator and ensured our wedding went as planned, even though we had some unforeseen hail weather conditions! She handled all of the behind-the-scenes details flawlessly, and kept everything on schedule. She was able to manage any last minute adjustments without us ever noticing.
One of the things I appreciate most about Kathleen is her ability to anticipate needs before they even arose. She put configured the most detailed timeline, which kept everyone on track leading up to the big day. Because of Kathleen and Rachel, my husband and I were able to be fully present with our family and friends and enjoy the entire experience without a single worry! wedding in Telluride with all the different possibilities, and seemingly personally knew all of our vendors as well! When it came to the wedding weekend she was a logistics expert. Making sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone had all the information that they needed. The weather in Telluride is unpredictable and we had a bit of rain which made it so great to have a planner who can handle anything that may seem unexpected because she's seen it all. We got married at a property outside of town which made our wedding logistically complicated, but she was unfazed and extremely on top of all the details. We also had an unexpected issue arise a few weeks before the wedding (which ended up requiring a last minute catering change!) and Kathleen handled it all with incredible competence and grace. She truly was key to making our day so wonderful. The best part—it was stormy the day of our wedding, but my husband and I were able to completely relax and enjoy our day, knowing that Kathleen was going to take care of any last-minute changes. Kathleen was conscious of budget, accommodated our wacky time difference for calls and went above and beyond, getting our funny DIY bits delivered to her own house in the lead up to our wedding. Her communication was spot on - she always responded to my questions within an hour, maybe two, and reached out to me proactively to check in and ensure I was doing OK with planning and didn't need any help. The vendors she suggested were great to work with. And if I did face any issues with my vendors, she always stepped in to facilitate. Her relationships brought a ton of value.
The days leading up to the wedding, she really shined. I truly felt as though she cared about our wedding day as if it were her own. She had plans in place in the event of weather. She listened to feedback from my family during the rehearsal and made some changes. She showed up at the venue a couple of days ahead of time to be sure everything was set. And day of - omg. I cannot begin to imagine trying to do that without her. Given the rapport we had built, I trusted her completely and it gave me and my family the ability to relax and enjoy every moment of the day. I'm a type A control freak, so it's not easy for me to let go like that. But she executed it flawlessly.

Every vendor we selected, she immediately responded with “oh I know them” and made suggestions and gave tips on how to maximize our dealings with them. She was always very responsive to our questions and helped with unresponsive vendors, which happened quite often.
On the day of the wedding, she proved to be invaluable. She helped all our guests find the venue and get them seated, as all our guests were from out of town as well. But we forgot our flowers at our Airbnb and she went back to retrieve them to ensure we kept to our schedule.
