That belief inspired TEN Events Group, a boutique event planning and design firm serving clients throughout South Florida, New York, and destinations beyond. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a minor in Accounting, Tara began her career in New York City’s Garment District. Her accounting background instilled a strong foundation in organization, budgeting, and logistics. After marrying and raising her family, Tara found herself planning elaborate celebrations for her own children.  It quickly evolved into a true passion and ultimately, a career.  The original brand, The Candy Cart was founded in 2009.  It was a boutique children's event company born from her love of candy. As her clients' families grew, so did the business - expanding over the next decade. In 2020, Tara and her family relocated from New York to South Florida, where she officially launched TEN Events Group. Named after her initials, TEN represents something deeply personal: the values, relationships, and reputation she brings to every event.  Today, TEN Events Group is a full-service luxury event planning and design firm with dedicated teams in both Florida and New York. From elegant weddings and sophisticated mitzvahs to milestone celebrations, and corporate events, every occasion is thoughtfully curated to reflect each client’s unique vision and style. Known for her calm presence, collaborative approach, and unwavering attention to detail, Tara believes true luxury is found in an experience that feels effortless. She works closely with every client to ensure they can be fully present for life’s most meaningful moments, confident that every detail has been carefully considered. For Tara, event planning has never been just about creating beautiful celebrations—it’s about building relationships, honoring traditions, and designing unforgettable experiences that families will cherish for generations. A New York native, Dani Berro has shared a professional journey with Tara since her teenage years, when they first worked together in New York City. She later attended the University of Arizona, where she developed the entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills that continue to shape her approach today. Her experience working with high-net-worth real estate clients taught her the importance of building trust, maintaining professionalism, and handling every interaction with discretion—qualities that are at the heart of exceptional client service. As Director of Hospitality & Client Experience at TEN Events Group, Dani oversees client relations, hotel and travel accommodations, and event logistics, ensuring every celebration is executed with warmth, precision, and exceptional attention to detail. Her passion for hospitality and commitment to creating a seamless client experience make her an invaluable part of the TEN Events Group team.

Since joining Tara in 2014, Liz has been an integral part of the TEN Events Group team, bringing years of experience, exceptional organization, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to every event. Based in New York and traveling wherever our clients celebrate, she leads event-day operations, oversees staffing, and ensures every detail is executed seamlessly. Known for her professionalism, creativity, and ability to keep even the most complex events running effortlessly, Liz is passionate about creating polished, personalized experiences that allow clients to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Her dedication to excellence and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the TEN Events Group family.
