The space is beautiful on the inside and can fit a large number of people. If you're on a budget, this place is fantastic! It has two large chandeliers and big mirrors on the walls...
. A nice touch was added for the Christmas season with wreaths and Christmas trees. The dance floor is huge and there is a place to hang your coats and have any extra activities set up in the room. Definitely a good value. Carmen was very friendly and helpful as we tried to plan our wedding arrangements and allowed us to visit multiple times to see different layouts. Our wedding was perfect!
Wonderful venue for a large wedding. Carmen was so easy to work with and everything was beautiful
They were so easy to work with and the ballroom was beautiful. No way you can find anything similar for the value! Great! Great! Great!
On weekends the best deal is to take the whole ballroom. We did the ceremony in one third, reception in the other two-thirds and used the foyer for cocktails. Once set up the space...
was excellent.
Ten Oaks Ballroom provided a great space for our affair. It was easy and convenient for everyone to access. We did not have to compete with downtown traffic and the space was the...
perfect size for our 175 guests.
We held both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ten Oaks Ballroom. Carmen was a pleasure to work with. It's a very charming venue that had plenty of continent parking for a...
ll of our guests. It has a lovely lobby area equipped with a fireplace. The ballroom was very spacious for our 130 guests and had the loveliest chandeliers that added an extra touch of elegance to the space. I consider Howard County's best kept secret. My only issues with this venue was that places to take formal pictures was a bit limited and there was only the choice of TWO caterers.
Great venue at a great price for a Friday wedding.
Carmen is great to work with. Prices were affordable, great/convenient location, lots of parking, accomodates large & small parties, and a very beautiful ballroom. I have never...
seen a nicer dance floor. Ten Oaks gives you an option of using two different caterers. We chose Putting on the Ritz Catering and were very impressed! The only negative comment I have is we were really disappointed that to play a slideshow we would've had to rent a projector - a detail I didn't want to worry about and that didn't seem worth a few hundred to play pics/video. Overall I would highly recommend Ten Oaks Ballroom!
We had a great time using Ten Oaks for our wedding venue! The ballroom offers ample parking, no stairs for elderly guests, and has all of its own china/flatware/glassware. They als...
o have their own Chivari chairs on hand available for rental.
The dance floor was very large, and the interior decor was very nice!
Carmen, the ballroom manager, is super friendly and accomodating!
Venue was SPACIOUS, elegant, and wonderful. If you are having a large reception and are on a strict budget, but want something BEAUTIFUL and ELEGANT, you must absolutely get this p...
lace. At least see it...it's absolutely a catch! If you go to one of their bridal shows, you can sometimes get a $500 off voucher as well. They have been making small updates to the location here and there...only thing I was disappointed in that they had previously told me they'd change the draping to an ivory color which would have been perfect for our wedding (it was a bit 1990's), but I believe they will be getting that done this year. It shouldn't be an issue. I highly recommend this place. It's elegant enough, but it gives you a canvass for you to decorate and make even more beautiful.
The Ten Oaks was great. The ballroom itself is very nice, and the lobby and patio give you an at home feel. It snowed on our wedding, and tons of people were curled up next to the ...
fireplace. Carmen is also very helpful and the money essentially goes back to the community, as it goes to the fire department.
We were originally going to do our ceremony and reception at my parent's house but after going over the logistics with our caterer, we realized that it wouldn't be the best thing f...
or us. Bobby from Putting on the Ritz suggested Ten Oaks Ballroom to us and took us there that day to check it out. We immediately fell in love with it's high ceilings, beautiful chandelier and space. We did our ceremony on one side of the ballroom that was closed off by a partition wall(never would have known the reception was being set up on the other side!!). The ceremony space has beautiful high windows and a gorgeous little courtyard at the far end, through double doors.
Carmen, the receptionist there, couldn't have been more helpful. She helped us to arrange a rehearsal, made sure that the chivari chairs we needed were ordered(and at an amazing price too!!!) and that everything was as it should be. If you're looking for a great place to get married indoors and you don't want to be in a church, check out Ten Oaks Ballroom!! You won't be sorry!
