. A nice touch was added for the Christmas season with wreaths and Christmas trees. The dance floor is huge and there is a place to hang your coats and have any extra activities set up in the room. Definitely a good value. Carmen was very friendly and helpful as we tried to plan our wedding arrangements and allowed us to visit multiple times to see different layouts. Our wedding was perfect!

The ballroom was very spacious for our 130 guests and had the loveliest chandeliers that added an extra touch of elegance to the space. I consider Howard County's best kept secret. My only issues with this venue was that places to take formal pictures was a bit limited and there was only the choice of TWO caterers.

seen a nicer dance floor. Ten Oaks gives you an option of using two different caterers. We chose Putting on the Ritz Catering and were very impressed! The only negative comment I have is we were really disappointed that to play a slideshow we would've had to rent a projector - a detail I didn't want to worry about and that didn't seem worth a few hundred to play pics/video. Overall I would highly recommend Ten Oaks Ballroom!

lace. At least see it...it's absolutely a catch! If you go to one of their bridal shows, you can sometimes get a $500 off voucher as well. They have been making small updates to the location here and there...only thing I was disappointed in that they had previously told me they'd change the draping to an ivory color which would have been perfect for our wedding (it was a bit 1990's), but I believe they will be getting that done this year. It shouldn't be an issue. I highly recommend this place. It's elegant enough, but it gives you a canvass for you to decorate and make even more beautiful.

or us. Bobby from Putting on the Ritz suggested Ten Oaks Ballroom to us and took us there that day to check it out. We immediately fell in love with it's high ceilings, beautiful chandelier and space. We did our ceremony on one side of the ballroom that was closed off by a partition wall(never would have known the reception was being set up on the other side!!). The ceremony space has beautiful high windows and a gorgeous little courtyard at the far end, through double doors.
Carmen, the receptionist there, couldn't have been more helpful. She helped us to arrange a rehearsal, made sure that the chivari chairs we needed were ordered(and at an amazing price too!!!) and that everything was as it should be. If you're looking for a great place to get married indoors and you don't want to be in a church, check out Ten Oaks Ballroom!! You won't be sorry!
