The bridesmaids bouquets (which were supposed to be white roses with lavender- the flower)had white roses, bright purple and blue flowers, and gold ribbon IN the bouquets. My flowers even had ivory ribbon IN the bouquets. I was so disappointed.

d I genuine felt like my opinion was worthless every time we spoke. I would say something like "Maybe we could put ranunculas in the bouquets" and she would say "or I can just use my discretion". Um. K. I also expressly said I did not want a specific flower used, it was written in our contract, and they turned up in all the bouquets on the day of the wedding. I understand that the florist is an artist, and generally knows more about flower arrangements than I do, but I was disappointed at how little my opinion seemed to matter. When you're paying for a service, you'd like to feel like you're being listened to, and that was not my experience at all. Again, our flowers looked nice for the table decorations and canopy around the ceremony, but I was disappointed in our bouquets.

a florist at all, but my mom went behind my back and put down the obnoxiously high deposit required to even talk about the flowers for the wedding. I reluctantly proceeded with ordering flowers from them, because my mom had already put down a huge non-refundable deposit. The owner is very pushy and insistent, and I saw her be very demeaning to another bride in the shop as well as some of her staff. She is not the type of person I would want to work with AT ALL if I'd had my choice. BUT: in the end, she certainly delivered. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. If flowers mean a lot to you, Ten Pennies will definitely deliver your vision. The owner might give you some rage-induced headaches first, but you'll get your beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. If you have a big flower budget, these are your people. If you don't, go to Produce Junction like I wanted to all along.

er seen! The centerpieces, bouquets, and ceremony were amazing as well! The only caveat is that she is quite pricey and every time we left there we ended up spending more money. However, if your budget is willing she is well worth it! I would highly recommend ten pennies to do your wedding!

o put all of your trust in her that she will do an amazing job. I wasn't sure what to expect from the look of my flowers but come wedding day, I wasn't disappointed. While I would have prefered to see a mock-up of my centerpieces (b/c I would have made some changes to them) everything else was beautiful. Especially the bouquets for the bride and the bridesmaids. Stunning! Exactly what I had pictured!

quet was just what I had always envisioned and the bridesmaids’ bouquets complimented them perfectly. Everyone was raving about the centerpieces at the wedding. Ann knows what she’s doing and truly turned my wedding day vision into a reality. I really loved working with her and trusted her completely! My only issue was the flower girl’s bouquet. We had asked for a pomander (which cost more than the typical flower girl arrangement), and it appeared fine when it first arrived. However, half way through photos (which we did before the ceremony), it COMPLETELY fell apart. Turns out, the flower stems were hot glued together. Very poor craftsmanship and we were really disappointed. My MOH tried to contact the shop but it was closed. The flower girl ended up carrying my mother’s flowers down the aisle, so my mom had to walk down without any flowers. Very disappointing. However, my mom talked to Ann at the end of the reception (she came to help breakdown) and she was very apologetic and offered us a credit. Very gracious of her, but I was still saddened with how poorly the pomander was made.

to micromanage her. She has a good grasp of what will look good, and is willing to work with your budget. Warning: she is not cheap. But, if flowers and decor is important to you, then you should hire her.

e. The center pieces she put together was incredible and I loved the bouquets. She's a true professional and knows what she's doing. I was beyond thrilled with the work Ten Pennies did.
