We had a fantastic time at The Chattanooga Aquarium. Plan to spend at least half a day or more when you visit. There are two buildings to go through; plus the Butterfly's. The employees are great too. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. Plan to go during the feeding times if possible. They have divers among the fish and especially the sharks; very exciting. They carry on conversations with an instructor outside the tanks and it looks as though the sharks are going to get the diver; although the other diver bears the shark another direction. All the kids absolutely loved it and so do we. Put this on your scheduled trip when you decide to go. You will be glad you did. Thanks to all the employees who made our visit extraordinary. Respectfully, James and Kelly, Easley. S. C.
This venue was perfect for our vision of a very dramatic and elaborate setting. The venue provided lots of space and an interesting setting for such a formal event.. Initially, the event manager helping with our event was very frustrating and was frazzled and limited in her view for our event, but for whatever reason, she was not employed by the aquarium at the time of our event and the remaining staff were very helpful with a much less limited view. The initial impression was that the venue was consistent in cost with other venues in the area, but after the event, we were sent a very large bill will several itemized charges we were not aware if and did not agree to. These charges were disputed, but they refused to overturn them. In the end, we decided to just accept that those charges would have to be chalked up to what we had to invest to have such an unforgettable event. Just ensure all charges are delineated before agreeing to a contract to the venue. Those 'little' and vague charges can really add up.
Truly a unique wedding! The aquarium and all it's staff were wonderful, all on time, all friendly and my guests loved touring the aquarium!
We loved our wedding here. It was magical and amazing. Our guests loved having the aquarium to tour while we took pictures.
