and the boat was decorated for Christmas. They took down the Christmas decorations for us and set up the decorations we supplied. Then their staff took down our decorations after the reception and replaced their Christmas decorations! And this is just one example of how they went the extra mile to make the day perfect. We really appreciate all their hard work and kindness on our special day.

at handle all decorations, food, DJ, and minister to perform the ceremony. Which so happened to be the captain. It was amazing to have a real captain marry you. Everything was professionally taken care of and the staff was amazing at helping my last minute bride freak outs. We had a nautical themed wedding, and it was an amazing venue to help with that. We paid extra to have chair covers and sashes put on the tables, which made the Riverboat look phenomenal. The riverboat is an authentic paddle wheeler. Which is a great way to have our southern roots added into the wedding. We had hand passed appetizers during cocktail hour of jalepeno bacon wrapped shrimp, cheese and fruit, spring rolls, and pigs in a blanket. We also hand passed 2 of our specialty drinks while we were taking our pictures. The staff came up with Nautical names, to go along with the nautical theme of the Riverboat. The drinks were delicious and a huge hit by all while we were busy taking pictures. The DJ they provided was excellent and professional. I contacted him a month before with my list of song choices. I didn't have to worry about what was going to happen next, it was all organized and played out the way I wanted it to be. The dinner was remarkable. We had Prime Rib, chicken Florentine, potatoes, mixed vegetables, green beans, rolls, and a salad. And of course sweet tea to go with the southern way of Tennessee. The staff even helped cut my cake, which I purchased through an outside vendor. The after dinner was amazing. We had the entire boat to ourselves, so we were able to go up to the top deck and look at the amazing views of beautiful Knoxville, TN as we cruised back into the city front. For those who chose not to go upstairs, the DJ was steadily playing music downstairs for everyone's interest. Dance, slow, line dancing, it was all available. I couldn't have imagined another way to celebrate my wedding than with Tennessee Riverboat. Their staff was professional and helpful at all times and I couldn't imagine anything different. Hands down best wedding venue in Tennessee. Great job Tennessee Riverboat!

never been on the riverboat before and really enjoyed the view of Knoxville (and Neyland Stadium!) from the water. The food was good. There were several options available for everyone. After dinner, we went up to the top level and had drinks and enjoyed music (played by a DJ). Everyone really had a great time and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was really friendly and accommodating as well.
