Terah was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and would reach out weeks prior to our appointments to ask for our inspiration on specific shots or locations we wanted to include. We researched many photographers in the area and kept coming back to Terah, as we wanted timeless photos that didn’t feel over edited and utilized natural lighting over heavy filters. Terah does an amazing job working outdoors and was so detail oriented in how she directed each shot. Terah and her assistant are absolutely amazing and I could not recommend anyone more to shoot your wedding day. She worked so hard with us on logistics so that we had time for all the shots we wanted and time to still enjoy our reception. We got some of the most amazing and unique heartfelt shots of the wedding. When I received the final edits, they were organized in an intuitive manner by each part of the wedding so they were easy to find, but even more importantly, each shot brought me right back to the love and joy on that day!

First off all not only is Terah just an all around amazing person but Terah makes you feel so comfortable. I’m always feel so awkward when I’m being photographed but with Terah I never felt that way at all! She gives fantastic advice, direction in poses, sets up the cutest moments, and constantly checks in to see how you’re feeling during it. I will never stop recommending her! I can be so extremely anxious but with her energy I never felt anxious on such a big day! Her work clearly speaks for its self as well! I could not be more grateful that I found Terah to do my wedding photography. From the day I booked her she was so exceptional at communicating what I was looking for. She was professional and readily available with any questions I had up to the big day. She has that way of capturing a breath taking stillness in a candid moment. Utilizing casts of sunlight through her shots with raw emotion, her style is timeless. She was AMAZING at directing and coaching my husband and I through every shot. She made it easy. Seriously. Best photographer EVER!! The heart and soul that she puts into her work comes out. She made us all feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Somehow….she miraculously corralled both our families (who do NOT listen haha) into the wedding photos and made it quick and painless as possible. You know, those family members that complain and roll their eyes at the thought of being in a photograph? Yeah, those people!! She went above and beyond, was quick to answer all our questions and made some great suggestions when it came to the vendors. Terah even stepped in and drove me around the day of the wedding to my hair and makeup appointments when my person backed out last minute!! We love our photos and feel like we made a lifelong friend in the process!

cannot say enough positive things about Terah! From the beginning talking everything through, to our engagement photos (which were stunning!) to the big day, she has gone above and beyond. We had a makeup fiasco on my wedding day that caused everything I had planned to have to be switched and reconfigured on the fly! That didn't bother Terah. She was up for the challenge and got some amazing pictures with the (now) limited time we had. 10/10 would recommend her for her beautiful photos but also her ability to help the day go smoothly!

I can’t say enough good things about Terah! My husband and I knew we were going to do a surprise small wedding/elopement(to surprise my in-laws due to many Covid-19 canceled wedding plans)… mind you we were going to do this ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY!!! We knew we wanted to eternally capture the moment because we wanted a sunrise wedding(crazy I know… 5:SOMETHING am). I found Terah on the Knot, looking under elopement packages. We were doing this smaller on a budget, and honestly her photos seemed too good to be true for the elopement package. Terah was not only super responsive, but eager to please. There was no hesitation in her voice, consistently in communication leading up to the trip. Then there was the big day… she was there, smiling laughing and so much fun! Terah had amazing ideas, made us feel so comfortable and the photos are breathtaking! We cannot thank you enough for truly capturing our love in photos! If a picture is worth a thousand words, Terah deserves a Pulitzer for the beautiful love story she captured with her lens. We anticipated that finding an engagement/weddings photographer during the pandemic in a city 5 hours away would be no easy task, but from the first correspondence with Terah, we knew we were is great hands. Terah is an amazing listener and successfully captured not only our personalities and special moments, but also those of our kids and family members. Though extremely present, Terah remains ‘behinds the scenes’ and let’s the magic happen naturally. Our engagement/family shoot was is historic Wilmington, and our wedding photos were taken at Ocean Isle Beach. She was equally fantastic capturing the essence of both locations. We have received complement upon complement on our wedding photos and have many featured throughout our home. We are SO very thankful for Terah and would emphatically recommend her work. We truly believe it was fate that we found Terah and that she was available on short notice to shoot our elopement. We were beyond impressed with her throughout every step of the process. Not only was she professional but she made us feel comfortable. It like we had an old friend enjoying and celebrating the day with us. A few things that really stood out to us when working with Terah; She met with me before hand to get a clear idea of my vision for the day even going as far as to connect with me on social media and making a list from my must have photos Pinterest board. She was on board for all our crazy ideas like shooting at a downtown pizza joint and trashing my dress in the ocean. She went above and beyond on the day of the wedding to make sure we got ALL the shots we wanted. Most importantly she wasn’t afraid to get wet, pick sand burrs/stickers off my dress, and get creative when I had mid-session dress strap drama fixing it on the fly with her emergancy kit. If you are looking for a creative, professional, fun photographer who can not only shoot and edit magazine quality photos, but add a vibe of ease and flow to your special day I highly recommend Terah.
