I recently had the pleasure of hosting a cocktail party at TERI's Campus of Life in San Marcos, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the experience.
Our Event Coordinator, Katey, was exceptional. She is a true event professional who provided outstanding guidance and support from start to finish. She took the time to ensure we had everything we needed to create the perfect event, making the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable.
The food was outstanding. The variety of menu options was impressive, and every item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hot dishes were served hot, the cold dishes were perfectly chilled, and the contemporary presentation elevated the entire experience. Chef Karla, Chef Dan, and their culinary team did an amazing job.
Our event was held in the Sunrise Suite, which is the perfect setting for a cocktail party—especially at sunset. Although we brought a few decorative touches of our own, the space is truly event-ready, with stunning panoramic views and a beautiful outdoor deck that our guests thoroughly enjoyed.
Our bartender, Damon, was warm, personable, and incredibly hospitable. Our server, Bunny, was friendly, attentive, and efficient. He anticipated our needs throughout the evening, and we never had to ask for a thing. Every detail was handled flawlessly.
It was truly a privilege to host such a successful event while supporting an incredible nonprofit organization that serves our community with such compassion and dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend TERI's catering and event services. They are simply impeccable!
We LOVED having our son's rehearsal dinner at TERI. It was a beautiful setting! They provided table linens, napkins, silverware, glasses, and everything we needed. All we had to bring was a sign and flowers for the tables. The taqueria bar was delicious and we got so many compliments! They made special vegan/gluten free brownies and dairy free cupcakes for us. The staff were beyond helpful and accommodating at the event. Laura was so great to work with in the planning stages. I am so thankful we chose TERI to host our event! We would do it again!

Set on 20 acres in scenic San Marcos, the TERI Campus of Life offers 10 unique venues for weddings and other wedding weekend events. Tables, seating, bar, and more included. On-site catering available. Outside licensed caterers welcome. Inquire for more information.
Wedding packages include the following:
- 10 am couple's property access
- 12 pm vendor access
- 4 pm ceremony, 10 pm end
- 2 x wedding party rooms
- 30-minute horse photos with your provided photographer
- tables, chairs, cocktail tables, bar, heaters, benches, security, etc.
Additionally, the TERI Campus of Life has farm-to-fork menus. They allow you to customize their catering and bar services, and they welcome the opportunity to work with outside licensed caterers.

Event Sales Manager
Katey Johnson is an experienced events and hospitality professional with nearly a decade of experience in hospitality, wedding coordination, and catering management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from San Diego State University and is a San Diego native, bringing a strong understanding of the local events and hospitality landscape.
Most recently, Katey served as a Catering Manager at Wedgewood Weddings and Events, where she managed weddings and special events from initial booking through event day. In addition to her events background, Katey brings experience in digital advertising and holds a Level 1 Sommelier certification, allowing her to curate elevated food and beverage experiences.
