. My skin looked so radiant and natural, there were a few times I did a double take when looking in the mirror. This was also the first time I've had my hair done professionally, and it hasn't fallen out after a couple hours! I have really thick, heavy hair. Whenever I put it up in a high ponytail, it's sunk to the nape of my neck within half an hour, no matter how tight I tie it. But Teri's updo was so beautifully and carefully designed that nothing fell out or sagged, AND it supported my surprisingly heavy (and larger than expected) hairpiece. I can't thank you enough Teri, you're the greatest!!

My husband was blown away by my hair and make-up. He was afraid I wasn't going to look like myself or that it wouldn't come out right as he had seen with other artists. We both LOVED the way I looked and I loved the way it made me feel. I could not have asked for more on my wedding day. and within 15 minutes of the trial she did better than anyone else who has ever done an updo on me (and I am extremely picky... hence the 5 trials). I couldn't have asked for a better hair stylist!! My mom and aunt's hair looked incredible too! Everyone was so beyond happy with their hair, I can't recommend Teri any more. She worked so efficiently too, and was way ahead of schedule which was great for a tight timeline on the wedding day! Thank you Teri!!!

I had 3 African American girls , one half Indian/half white girl, one Spanish girl, and one white girl. She did amazing job on all of them with so many different hair textures. She reminded me that it’s my big day and she will make sure that the bridal party look will not outshine mine. The morning of my wedding, Teri showed up promptly at the time she said she would. I was supremely impressed by Teri’s precision from the time she got in the door and set up until the end after the bridal party and I left to the venue. Teri surprisingly took no breaks and completed all my bridesmaids’ makeup all within schedule (which was extremely important for photos and video) allowing for ample time at the end for touch-ups. She strategically scheduled my hair and make up right before my last bridesmaid’s. Teri was very thoughtful, attentive, and compassionate. This was especially helpful during my turn for hair and makeup. When I felt faint from lack of sleep, lack of food, and major anxiety for the big day, Teri called in my bridesmaids to get me food and water. She stopped doing my make up and suggested I eat while she did my hair. Teri managed to be efficient, patient, and gracious in the midst of the chaos when the videographer and photographer arrived and started taking so many different shots. In the end, I was thrilled with the overall look. It was timeless, romantic, and still very natural – exactly what I wanted! However I was more thankful for someone like Teri to help me through my morning. In addition to her efficiency and graciousness, Teri is beyond talented and takes a great deal of pride in her work. This is shown through the subtleties of her process, from setup through finishing touches. I’d be honored to be made up by Teri again in the future!

Teri was patient and worked with everyone individually to make sure they were happy with the end results. Our make-up and hair lasted all day and night with no touch-ups! And our pictures look stunning! She even touched up the groom who came in the room to grab a few things. I can't thank Teri enough for making us all feel and look beautiful on my wedding day! She left me with a touch up kit that was specific to the make up products she used on me on my wedding day. job - even better than I imagined. She was also incredibly easy to work with. For the trial, she came to my house one evening after work and spent 4 hours trying out two different makeup and hair looks, and the day of the wedding she had no problem driving 50 miles to arrive at 6:45am ready to work. Usually you have this idea of what you want your hair and makeup to turn out like, but you know that it usually doesn't come out exactly like you pictured. Well not with Teri! From my trial to my actual wedding day, Teri made every single person look exactly like the pinterest pictures we showed her. She also brought an assistant to help out the day of my wedding since we had 8 of us total. One of my bridesmaids ended up wanting to change the hair style the assistant had done, and Teri made no big deal about it. She re-did my friends hair herself and it turned out great. she even gave me an emergency touch up kit before she left that I brought to the reception just in case. All of us LOVED how our hair and makeup turned out and multiple guests came up to me asking who the artist was that we hired because they thought we all looked stunning. Teri was so easy to work with, a talented professional, and totally fun to hang out with throughout the entire process. I can't recommend her enough! :)

asily applied with a great finish. So I had to tell Teri exactly what I wanted and during the trial, it took some feedback and trials to get exactly what I wanted...as what a trial is for. She achieved the makeup to what I wanted and I felt so relieved and happy because during the process of finding vendors for different things, this was the hardest. I was so happy I was recommended to Teri (one of my gfs found her for her wedding). Hair was a good experience as well. During the trial I got to see an up do and down (those were my 2 style options I chose). They both looked really pretty. And like my makeup, I'm particular about my hair. My hair type is fine and not much volume. I grew out my hair for a year for this so it was good that I had length for Teri to work with. Turned out great and I chose the up do route. On the wedding date, she did 4 of my BMs hair and my mothers makeup. The BMs wanted slight changes to their hair and Teri was so accommodating to give small tweeks to how they wanted. My mom's makeup looked so good! I was a little worried about this bc my mom's skin is sensitive to makeup products and also she likes a particular look to go with her face and style. Teri nailed it. I recommend if you mom needs make done, Teri can do it. So she's super versatile, hair, makeup, young, older, whoever! My makeup day of...just what I wanted. There was tiny comments added from after the trial and she did it. Make was just what I wanted and hair was perfect. The only problem I had was that my right eye kept watering. I think it might have been because the lashes were too long...but I didn't feel that way. It was all comfortable. I'm not sure why but it wasn't Teri's fault. My eye had a mind of it's own. Because it kept watering up, the makeup was erasing. So she had to apply about 3 times. It was challenging. But Teri worked with it and helped...and the show must go on! I was so happy with Teri. Not only for being an awesome makeup and hair artist, which by the way, is a huge advantage (Usually you'd have to hire two separate people, but she does both..SO convenient), but she is sympathetic and understands brides. I felt very comfortable talking to her. She's professional and super approachable and has a warm caring heart. She's honest and down to earth. All in all, I recommend Teri for Hair & Makeup for your special occasion. I'm such a particular and specific person and Teri nailed it. Also to top it off, she gave me an emergency kit with bobby pins, blotting paper, lip gloss and a couple other very useful things! It was so special and I was so thankful and wow'ed. I was stressing about how I'd touch up, esp my lips. This was so amazing and such an awesome touch to her service. My BM, who have been in lots of weddings, have never seen this before. Teri came to my house on the day of the wedding early and she left when the wedding party left- I never felt like she was rushed- she was clearly there for me (bride). I almost didn’t wash my face and the end of the night since I know I would not be able to replicate what Teri did. My hair was also great. I wanted simple half up style with curls and it was just what I asked for. Teri made everything so simple for me. She made me feel so beautiful and I could not possibly ever thank her enough.

day the power was out in my neighborhood all day. Teri remained calm and collected and very professional and with the help of a generator, we were able to still get ready at my home. My hair and makeup were FLAWLESS. I can be very picky and there was absolutely nothing I would change. Teri makes you look like the best possible version of yourself and this simply was the best I have ever looked in my opinion. I couldn't be happier with the end result or with Teri's services or level of professionalism. You absolutely should book Teri if she is available for your big day. Planning your big day can be overwhelming but Teri was the best decision I could have made for my hair and makeup.

ate being available Sept 6,2014& she said “let me check … yes I have it available.” She proceeded explain the deposit required, the minimum # of people & signed contract. These additional people didn’t even get their make up trail and only paid based on my word. Fast forward to Aug 6, she invoiced me & still didn’t realize that she had double booked. In addition, she just emailed, send the check to the address with everything to be paid in advanced and she was going to be out of town from the 4th to 13th of Aug. Then Aug. 19th she called me, but I didn’t speak with her until the 20th. To my surprise and most horrifying nightmare, she expresses how “sorry she is and she messed up.” She even had the audacity to write, “As a business owner, I take pride in my business and I know how important this big day is for my Brides. I am mortified that I have made this mistake again. I can not express how truly sorry I am.” I didn’t know what to do, so I began scrambling for a new MUA, someone who truly does take pride in their profession and definitely not a referral from her. She tried to fix this by pawning me to a friend who also is a MUA. I was also getting pressured to make the decision to go with the friend since she was only holding the day s a favor. Even as she tried to fix this, she was rude, pressuring me to make a decision the day she informed me she double booked, I called several places and everyone was booked. No one needs to go through a stressful situation such as mine. Furthermore, when I finally began to tell her what I felt and expressed my disappointment, she said that there is nothing I could say that would change the situation. She had already beaten herself up and apologized. Needless to say, this definitely resorted to just getting the full refund from the trail and the money invoiced that was sent around the 6th of Aug. This is the least she could have done except the way she returned the money. Instead of calling me to confirm an address to return the money, she emailed me and just looked at the contract “application location.” Now, who in there right mind just emails instead of call to find out and confirm an address? Not a professional MUA. She mails a check to an application location - so what if the application location is at a hotel? When was I suppose to get the check? Next year? Well, I contacted her to notify her the application location was incorrect. She said, “ bummer, that is not my problem.” In addition, she said she would not submit a new check until she got her check returned – as I informed her it would – Finally, two days before the wedding is when I finally get the check. She could have easy said I can either meet you or have you pick up the check at the salon I had my make up trail in Campbell – Palazzi Salon. This was her problem and the way she resolved it was unsympathetic and in my opinion she does not care about her Brides, but is more interested about $$. Thank God I got my make up done by someone who really cares about her bride, and makes sure the makeup is fresh! This person said she was in the business for 11+ years. Q: how do professional MUAs double book when they have been doing it for years and manage their own appointments. A: They don't.

Since bigger is better for me, she even premade a bump hair piece to use, along with pretreating my hair extensions in preparation for the big day. What an added bonus! People are still talking about how great I looked and I can't thank Teri enough for the beautiful work she did. She was so great that I referred her to a friend and now she'll be doing her hair/makeup as well. Book her and let her do her magic!

We got to know a little but about each other during the trial and I'm so happy we did because she's such a wonderful person. Teri helped me figure out what I wanted and by the end of my trial we had the perfect look for my wedding day. Once we were a few weeks out from my wedding Teri and I finalized details for day of. September 7th came very quickly and the wedding day was upon us. Teri came to my hotel in Palo Alto, she was on time and a welcome sight for this anxious bride. She started with the bridesmaids hair and then started on me. I didn't want to see myself until she was completely finished... Once she was done and I saw myself I was ecstatic! I can tell you I have never felt that confident in my whole life. I felt like a beautiful bride in every way and I am so thankful I had Teri to make that possible. The day of your wedding, you want to relax and enjoy yourself. With Teri you can do just that because you'll know you're in good hands. I just received some photos from my photographer; my makeup and hair look amazing in them. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup; friends and family (who are engaged themselves) were asking me for her contact info as soon as they saw my trial photos. THAT is how good she is!

makeup look. I found Teri through Yelp and heard back within 24 hours of my initial inquiry. Teri was upfront about the services she would provide and the cost and I booked her the next day. Communication throughout the whole process was super easy with her, she always responded to my emails or phone calls within a few hours, which is something that's pretty important to me, as I tend to be a Type-A planner. I met Teri for my trial about 5 weeks before the wedding at a salon in downtown Campbell where we spoke about my vision for the event and her tips and suggestions. First off, she is extremely clean and organized. You can see that she takes care of her equipment and only uses the best. For a germaphobe like me that's extremely important. The make up look we tried was a winner right away: A classic black winged liner, porcelain airbrush skin and a beautiful red lip to go with the vintage look that I was aiming for. I had a few minor adjustments and Teri was super flexible and patiently listed to my opinion and respected my wishes. She however also made sure to voice her professional opinion when needed. I'm, not a big fake lash person and opted for very small ones, though she respected my wishes she made sure to let me know what looks good in photos and I am glad I listened to her and ended up going with the larger lashes the day of he wedding. It really did show in the photos. My hair came out perfect as well. We tried two looks: One softer wavy updo and one a bit more sleek chignon with a soft twisted side. I opted for option two and it came out even better on my actual wedding day than at the trial. Teri took a good 3-4 hours to apply my make-up, try the different hair looks and then also took photos with me at the trial. The day of the wedding Teri was on time and worked efficiently. She has a very calm and collected personality, which is something I really appreciated, because she calmed me down with it. You can tell that Teri has enormous pride in what she does and it shows through her meticulous work, and that satisfied little smile I saw on her face when I was prancing around in my bridal gown with full hair and make up. I would highly recommend Teri to any new bride I encounter. Thanks again!!!!

Teri asked me questions about my usual routine and how I want to look on my wedding day. She sent me pictures from the trial, which really helped me decide what was the best look on my wedding day. On my wedding day Teri and Katye arrived at hotel right on time to get started! They quickly worked through each bridesmaid's hair and makeup. A few of my bridesmaids were a bit particular and Teri and Katye did a great job helping make them happy. I wanted to make a few minor tweaks from my trial (define my curls a little more, less lower lash liner etc) and Teri made my hair/makeup look perfect!!! My mom (who doesn't wear much makeup) and MIL both loved their makeup and looked great!

I left the trial very confident in Teri and how I was going to look for my wedding. On my wedding day Teri and her assistant Kayte showed up at my hotel and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. They are both so friendly and so amazing at their jobs. They did my hair and makeup along with all of the hair and makeup for my 6 bridesmaids. Everyone loved how they looked and so did I. On top of everyone looking great, they finished early so I actually had time to relax before the ceremony. Not only are Teri and Kayte fantastic with hair and makeup they are friendly and extremely professional. I had no doubt from the moment I met Teri that I was going to be happy with my hair and makeup and I was. I only wish Teri could do my hair and makeup every day.

It didn't even give me a headache which I usually get when having my heavy, curly hair pinned up. I would definitely recommend Teri to anyone.

g a trial day was super helpful, she treated as carefully and professionally as she did with the wedding day, so I was able to get just the look I wanted. She is so friendly and easy to talk to, so I instantly felt relaxed. She spent almost a full four hours for the trial, making sure I was absolutely happy with the look that she would then use for the wedding day. In the end, it was so beautiful and I got SO many compliments from people. I never felt more beautiful than I did that day. My hair was flawless and held the whole night (an updo), and my airbrush makeup was subtle but outstanding. I was so happy to have Teri be a part of my wedding day, I would give her the highest recommendations to anyone needing a stylist and/or makeup artist, because she does it better than anyone!

edding, I was open and told her to do her thing as long as I didn't look like I came out of a Mac makeup session (overdone). After my trial, I loved my hair, but the makeup was a bit beyond my comfort zone. I met my fiancé for dinner right after, and mainly because of the long fake lashes and the fact he never sees me with full makeup, he thought I looked like a porn star - not horrible, but it was just not me, which is not so good for a wedding ;) Teri had told me to sit with it, talk to others and let her know if I wanted to change anything for the big day. So I showed the pics to a couple of friends and our photographer, and I went back and asked her to tone it down a little, use shorter lashes so they looked full but natural, and use less foundation because I felt like it actually accentuated my laugh lines. She emailed me right back and put me at ease with what she was planning to do differently on the day of. She used shorter lashes and more "conventional" makeup instead of airbrushed foundation, and I couldn't have been happier with the final product. And the pictures came out great! I admit it was more money than I expected to pay for hair and makeup but it's an important day and the amount of time spent on you between the trial and the day of is pretty significant (8 hrs + travel).

I was a little nervous, but the trial went so smoothly. She tried a few looks on me, and then brought me outside to see it in the natural light and see how it photographed. I really wanted a natural look and she encouraged me to speak up about anything I wanted fixed; we tweaked a few things and came up with the perfect look. I couldn't decide on lip color but she assured me we could decide the day of. As for the wedding day itself- Teri was early, set up quickly and got started right away. My mother was SO nervous about getting her make up done and is the most particular person I know. She ended up loving it and said afterward that everyone looked beautiful and naturally gorgeous- a true compliment coming from my mom. There were a few bumps in our day (none of them Teri's fault) but Teri stayed calm the entire time. My make up was even better than the trial, which I hadn't thought possible. I had never felt more gorgeous and am still getting compliments a month later! The make up lasted literally until the next morning- yes thats right I didn't even wash it off that night! Teri also gave me an adorable goody bag with items for the wedding night like blotters, powder and gloss along with make up removers for afterward. So thoughtful! Yet another plus- she was able to airbrush some minor acne I had on my shoulders- you would never have known it was there! Hands down- this woman is GREAT. Hire her and you will be far from disappointed!

On top of it, she came to both my house for the trial run and the venue on the day of the wedding. Such a help during an incredibly busy time. She was able to accomplish a beautiful natural look for everyone, yet the make-up showed up great in the photos. The hair and make-up held up all day and night for all 7 of us. I got so many compliments throughout the day on both my hair and makeup, which withstood tears during the ceremony and dancing/sweating at the reception. My mother, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids also got their hair and makeup done by Teri and her assistant, Katye, and all of them looked gorgeous. My mom even got fake lashes that looked natural enough for her to feel comfortable wearing them! On a side note, Teri offers fake lashes as part of her bridal package, but I opted for eyelash extensions because they 1) last longer, and 2) look more natural.
