She was able to do exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup and answered all of my questions, no matter how tiny or insignificant they were. I booked Teri at the peak of the initial covid outbreak in 2020 and she showed an immense amount of flexibility over the last ~two years of date changes & other unforeseen circumstances due to the pandemic. We did a bridal trial about 3 months before the big day and she took her time, listened to my feedback, and gave me some incredible suggestions on how to look and feel my best on the wedding day. On the day of, she and her team got straight to business, sticking to the timeline like absolute pros and making us all look stunning. My bridesmaids, mother of the groom and mother of the bride also had an incredible experience with her team. I did a trial with Teri a few months before my wedding day and found two looks that I loved, but ended up going with a different hairstyle the day of. Teri was able to make the change seamlessly. I was so happy I completed the trial beforehand because it left me confident with my final decision on my wedding day. My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup looks as well. Teri was a pillar in our get ready time before the wedding and brought a sense of calm to the group. I recommend her 100 out of 10!

r my wedding and she was well-versed in retro makeup and hair. I first met her when my mom and I went for my makeup trial. Teri was fantastic! She was such a good listener and did an amazing job translating what I described to her into a reality. She gave me tips on makeup and helped me understand what would work best on my big day. Between hiring Teri and the wedding she was communicative, responsive, and great at reminding me of details. She sent a detailed description with what she needed from myself and the bridal party to make the day go smoothly and she was flexible with communication style (texting, email, calls, etc.). On the day of the wedding, Teri was punctual and ready for anything. She brought a team consisting of two other great artists to help get my entourage ready and the team worked really well together. Teri never lost track of time, she was articulate and in-charge of her entire operation. She was kind and understanding of me (I was nervous and hungry). As for the work she did, it was amazing! My hair and makeup were stunning and I couldn't believe how they lasted the entire night! I think I had my makeup done at around 11am and the party ended at midnight. My makeup was still perfect at midnight! She did give me a touch-up kit, which I kept in my clutch the entire evening and used to fix makeup before any formal photos. The bridal party also looked amazing. I requested retro hairstyles (we had a couple of victory rolls and some pin curls and even a chignon knot!). I couldn't have asked for a better artist on my special day and I would recommend Teri wholeheartedly.

st trial, my hair didn't hold a curl. Teri talked me through hair prep for our second trial and my hair held the curls perfectly. She also patiently adjusted my makeup look until I was happy with it. She asked me several questions and then made a few suggestions. Let's just say that my hair turned out PERFECT on the big day! (Side note: I drove in a car with the top down going 65 mph on the freeway between the ceremony and reception and my hair was still intact and looked great in all of my pictures at the reception! hint of how good the experience was going to be but we really were not prepared for how much fun we all had and how GREAT we all looked. There were a variety of people to do - 2 flower girls, 1 grandmother, the bride's and groom's mothers, and a bridal party of 7. The weather up in Wine Country was extremely hot (95 degrees +) so the looks had to last all day and evening, and they really did! Teri's team was exceptional to work with - fun, reassuring, patient, incredibly gracious, excellent listening skills, and so talented - and I can’t think of a better group to have worked with on such a special day. We all had our own "looks" and all of us were thrilled with the results. Teri and her team kept us on time and stress-free — which was a real accomplishment with this bridal party:). There was excellent communication all along the way, and the timeline allowed for a efficient, relaxed process. I cannot recommend Charismatic Bride highly enough and I know everyone - especially the bride - feels the same way!!!

I agreed with Teri, that the bride should NOT be last to get hair/makeup done! Since I was last, my bridesmaids and I were not able to take pictures outside of the hotel (where the pretty redwood trees and the gazebo was), and I felt rushed to change into my wedding dress. :( However, I really appreciate Teri trying to explain to my coordinator what she believed the timeline should be. I look forward to doing business with Teri again in the future!!! :)

I wanted dramatic lashes for my wedding, but found that the set of lashes were heavy and weighed down my eyes. Teri came back with a solution (layering two sets of lashes) that were extremely light and perfect for the day. I was extremely appreciative that she looked into this for me and found a solution. On the day of our wedding, she was on-time and quick with setup and take down. I can't recommend Teri enough!

Teri apart from the rest was her astonishing skill for eye makeup and her affordable prices. Biggest tip: go with airbrushing!! It lasted my entire wedding day, didn’t look cakey, and I had no need for touch-ups! Definitely exfoliate your entire face the day before. I accidentally forgot to exfoliate my nose and we had to go over that area a second time. The photos came out stunning. Also, Teri is very hygienic and that was really important to me. She’s also pleasant to work with. Thanks Teri!!

way Teri covered them up, you couldn't even tell they were there. My skin looked so radiant and natural, there were a few times I did a double take when looking in the mirror. This was also the first time I've had my hair done professionally, and it hasn't fallen out after a couple hours! I have really thick, heavy hair. Whenever I put it up in a high ponytail, it's sunk to the nape of my neck within half an hour, no matter how tight I tie it. But Teri's updo was so beautifully and carefully designed that nothing fell out or sagged, AND it supported my surprisingly heavy (and larger than expected) hairpiece. I can't thank you enough Teri, you're the greatest!!
