al, which instantly made me trust her. I was absolutely blown away by my wedding hair and makeup- I have truly never felt so beautiful! My bridesmaids also looked stunning and were very happy. Teri was a calming, flexible, and professional presence to work with on a day that of course was full of nerves and excitement, which was just what I didn't know I needed. Grateful for her!
Teri and her crew were amazing to work with on my wedding day. I had the privilege of having my hair and makeup done by Teri at a previous wedding and my husband-to-be could not st...
op raving about how beautiful I looked. So when it was my turn to get married, hiring Teri was the obvious choice. You can tell Teri has plenty of experience and is ready to handle anything throughout the day. She has great advice for indecisive brides and was able to keep my crazy group of girls on schedule throughout the wedding morning. Teri does an amazing job elevating your natural look. As someone who doesn't normally wear a lot of makeup, she does a great job finding that balance where you look flawless for photos but you still feel like yourself. Thank you for making me look stunning on my wedding day!
I cant tell even begin to tell you how amazing Teri is! From our first phone call, her and I clicked. I live in Arizona but was getting married in California and she rearranged her...
schedule just so that she could make sure to get my trial in while I was visiting California. We spent a few hours together and it felt like her and I had been friends for so long. If I had questions, I was able to text her and she got back to me quickly. I also wanted a halo extension for the wedding and she made sure to get that for me. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and stayed a little late just to complete my touch ups. My makeup and hair lasted all night and looked flawless even after dancing. If you are looking for a makeup/hairstylist, look no further. If I could hire her for every event, I would! Thank you Teri for everything! You are truly the best!
Teri cancelled the morning of my wedding despite having been booked months in advance, doing a trial, and having been paid in full. She was supposed to arrive at 830 and did not an...
swer her phone until 915 when she answered finally and told me she had an emergency the night before and forgot to notify me or ask one of her staff to fill in and that nobody was available from her agency on such short notice. She said she could come but would come 2 .5 hours late. I can understand that emergencies happen but it is unacceptable to not even attempt to notify me in a timely manner or attempt to find a reasonable replacement. My wedding coordinator was able to help me rearrange the day with alternate arrangements - but it cost me thousands of dollars more because I had to extend times with all my other vendors. When I spoke to Teri last she agreed to refund - when I asked for written confirmation she said she would send - 2 days later have gotten nothing. I asked for an inconvenience fee and she said she would do this but didn’t know what/how to do this now and then had the nerve to ask me to trust her… and hung up. She absolutely destroyed a day that I spent so much time and money planning and I can never get it back. As she is no longer even responding I will likely have to spend more time going the legal route to get my money back. Please do not hire her. She is extremely unprofessional and I hope anybody considering hiring her will read this and know that she absolutely destroyed someone’s wedding day with her unprofessional behavior.
Teri is seriously the BEST and a DREAM to work with. I never wear makeup and have exactly one hair style I know how to do so I was not the ideal client. Teri was exceedingly patien...
t, kind, and understanding and educated me on all my options making sure I felt completely comfortable with my choices. She was easy to talk to and SO SO skilled, I hit the jackpot! She was timely the day of, really well prepared, and kept us all on schedule too. All my girls loved their looks and even my mom who hates makeup said she felt beautiful that day. She just moved up to the Sacramento area so is working in both the Bay Area and Sac area for now (so if you found her multiple regions listed a bit confusing at first like I did, that is why :-) ). I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding MUAH stylist, you will not be disappointed.
I was having a hard time finding someone who I felt would be a good fit for my wedding makeup, but when I saw Teri’s work and talked to her I knew she was who I wanted to work with...
. She was great at getting back to me, was very patient, and was super friendly. She was able to do exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup and answered all of my questions, no matter how tiny or insignificant they were. She also did my moms makeup and hair and it looked fantastic! Overall amazing and would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding or any other event. Will definitely use again in the future for special events.
Hiring Teri was the absolute BEST decision I made during wedding planning. I'm pretty simple and traditional when it comes to everyday hair and makeup, and I didn't quite know what...
to expect when attempting to book a wedding H&M artist, but Teri seriously made the whole process and experience easy and enjoyable.
I booked Teri at the peak of the initial covid outbreak in 2020 and she showed an immense amount of flexibility over the last ~two years of date changes & other unforeseen circumstances due to the pandemic. We did a bridal trial about 3 months before the big day and she took her time, listened to my feedback, and gave me some incredible suggestions on how to look and feel my best on the wedding day.
On the day of, she and her team got straight to business, sticking to the timeline like absolute pros and making us all look stunning. My bridesmaids, mother of the groom and mother of the bride also had an incredible experience with her team. I can't thank Teri enough for her support and help in making this day so special and memorable -- book her now!
Teri was an absolute pleasure to have as my hair & makeup artist for my wedding day! She really took her time to listen to what I was wanting and making me even more beautiful than...
I could imagine during our trial! She has great communication, a lovely person all around to talk to and makes you feel so comfortable while being pampered! On the big day, she was organized and gave my mother, bridesmaid, and I all beautiful looks and I am in love with how it turned out! Thank you Teri for making this part of my day stress-free and fun! I highly recommend her for bridal & bridal party hair and makeup, she absolutely nailed it!

ad to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, she was more than accommodating with moving to a new date. On the wedding day, she did hair and makeup for my mom, sister, and myself. We all agreed that we felt like ourselves, just enhanced by Teri’s amazing work. Not only did we all look and feel beautiful, but everything stayed in place throughout the evening. I truly could not have asked for anything more. Thank you, Teri!

and I couldn’t have been happier with my bridesmaids hair and makeup. The night of the event people noticed how natural my makeup looked and my hair stayed in its style all night long which is saying ALOT because I have fine straight hair that literally always falls out after an hour. I cannot recommend Charismatic Bride enough!

Teri and team did an amazing job with not only mine, but my wedding parties hair & make up. I love that she was able to do both hair & makeup and travel to my venue. She brought in...
a partner to help with hair since there were so many of us, and she also did amazing. They were both able to achieve the looks all my girls were looking for.
Also, Teri was super understanding, empathetic and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding twice.
Highly recommend!!
Teri was hired to do hair and make-up for both our reveal and our wedding. Each time she was timely, professional, and amazing. From the very first point of contact, I could tell...
that Teri was going to be a wonderful addition to the team helping to bring together a fabulous day for my husband and I. There was no request, or little detail, which she was unable to respond to or provide. I wish I had an event to go to every weekend, just so that I could have Teri come by. She is a joy to be around AND she knows how to make everyone look and feel their best. Thank you for being a part of our special day Teri.

m are so talented at what they do. She listened to what I wanted and didn't want, and absolutely nailed the final look. There is no better feeling than having full confidence that your hair and makeup will stay in place all night. It's one less thing you need to worry about on your big day and that feeling is worth every penny. I can't recommend Charasmatic Bride enough.

aim was to go a little heavier than what she thought I wanted and scale it back to find the sweet spot. On the wedding day, I felt like a gorgeous bride but still like myself. She and her hair partner Kelsey made the women in our families get the hair and makeup looks that made them feel most beautiful as well. Thank you Teri!

OVID and let me tell you- Teri has been super responsive, understanding and flexible. Can’t wait to use her for my wedding!
Teri/Charismatic Bride is a MUST HAVE for your wedding day or special event. Teri did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and had a precise intuition for the vibe/style that I wa...
s trying to achieve, and was wonderful at making adjustments based on my most vague and obscure requests.
I did a trial with Teri a few months before my wedding day and found two looks that I loved, but ended up going with a different hairstyle the day of. Teri was able to make the change seamlessly. I was so happy I completed the trial beforehand because it left me confident with my final decision on my wedding day.
My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup looks as well. Teri was a pillar in our get ready time before the wedding and brought a sense of calm to the group. I recommend her 100 out of 10!
Teri/Charismatic Bride was an absolute joy to work with. After comparing several vendors online, I went with Teri because she was seemed to understand exactly what I envisioned fo...
r my wedding and she was well-versed in retro makeup and hair. I first met her when my mom and I went for my makeup trial. Teri was fantastic! She was such a good listener and did an amazing job translating what I described to her into a reality. She gave me tips on makeup and helped me understand what would work best on my big day.
Between hiring Teri and the wedding she was communicative, responsive, and great at reminding me of details. She sent a detailed description with what she needed from myself and the bridal party to make the day go smoothly and she was flexible with communication style (texting, email, calls, etc.).
On the day of the wedding, Teri was punctual and ready for anything. She brought a team consisting of two other great artists to help get my entourage ready and the team worked really well together. Teri never lost track of time, she was articulate and in-charge of her entire operation. She was kind and understanding of me (I was nervous and hungry).
As for the work she did, it was amazing! My hair and makeup were stunning and I couldn't believe how they lasted the entire night! I think I had my makeup done at around 11am and the party ended at midnight. My makeup was still perfect at midnight! She did give me a touch-up kit, which I kept in my clutch the entire evening and used to fix makeup before any formal photos.
The bridal party also looked amazing. I requested retro hairstyles (we had a couple of victory rolls and some pin curls and even a chignon knot!). I couldn't have asked for a better artist on my special day and I would recommend Teri wholeheartedly.
Teri and her team are absolutely amazing! They provided hair and makeup for myself and 7 others for my wedding last weekend. They were incredibly efficient and professional, while ...
also being friendly and personable.
Teri did my hair and makeup, and I was so happy with the result! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made wonderful suggestions that improved the overall look. She also provided me with a trial a few weeks previously so that everything could run smoothly on the day of my wedding.
My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law were all very happy with their hair and makeup as well! Each stylist was so talented, and everyone’s hair and makeup stayed perfectly in place throughout the day.
I cannot recommend Charismatic Bride enough! I am so grateful to Teri, Kelsey, and Lien for making my day so special!

st trial, my hair didn't hold a curl. Teri talked me through hair prep for our second trial and my hair held the curls perfectly. She also patiently adjusted my makeup look until I was happy with it. I felt so lovely on my wedding day and I have Teri to thank. I would choose her over and over again.

consultation. I described the hairstyle that "I thought I wanted" and Teri executed it perfectly, only for me to realize that it was not actually the hairstyle I wanted on my wedding day. She asked me several questions and then made a few suggestions. Let's just say that my hair turned out PERFECT on the big day! (Side note: I drove in a car with the top down going 65 mph on the freeway between the ceremony and reception and my hair was still intact and looked great in all of my pictures at the reception! Yeah!). My make-up was flawless and I received many compliments! I would definitely recommend Teri for your wedding hair and make-up artist!

i is truly the expert at all things bridal beauty and it shows! She brought so many amazing suggestions for how I could look and feel my absolute best on the day and I am so grateful. The team she brought with her to help with my bridesmaids was also top-knotch and everything went off without a hitch!

ow each other. Teri and her assistance provided hair and makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and aunt-in-law. Conveniently, Teri drove to my location on my wedding day so I didn't have to worry about traveling or coordinating rides for everyone. That itself took off so much pressure. They were very professional and helpful in picking our desired styles. We have a very early start time but Teri and her assistant went straight to work for me and my girls. I was so impressed! We all came out looking liking like movie stars. I felt and looked amazing. My finish look was beyond anything I imagined. I wanted to have full coverage makeup with a natural glow and Teri nailed it. I am so happy I got to work with such a talented lady. I would recommend Teri to any bride!

ting the out come...Teri melted all those fears away! During the planning process of finding my look she took the time to listen to me and really create a style that i was happy with! I felt stunning and like the best version of myself on my wedding day. All of my 9! Yes 9! bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well...THIS RARE!!! Teri was professional, calm and kept the day on track which was a huge relief to me. I would highly recommend booking Teri for any wedding event!

en made last minute changes to my hair and make up the day of and Teri had no problem with it and did her work flawlessly. I am definitely recommending her to any of my friends who get married next!
Teri and her team were, simply put, OUTSTANDING to work with. It was so much fun on the wedding morning and we all looked so GORGEOUS:). The trial several months before gave us a...
hint of how good the experience was going to be but we really were not prepared for how much fun we all had and how GREAT we all looked. There were a variety of people to do - 2 flower girls, 1 grandmother, the bride's and groom's mothers, and a bridal party of 7. The weather up in Wine Country was extremely hot (95 degrees +) so the looks had to last all day and evening, and they really did! Teri's team was exceptional to work with - fun, reassuring, patient, incredibly gracious, excellent listening skills, and so talented - and I can’t think of a better group to have worked with on such a special day. We all had our own "looks" and all of us were thrilled with the results. Teri and her team kept us on time and stress-free — which was a real accomplishment with this bridal party:). There was excellent communication all along the way, and the timeline allowed for a efficient, relaxed process. I cannot recommend Charismatic Bride highly enough and I know everyone - especially the bride - feels the same way!!!
Teri was wonderful! :) I absolutely loved my hair and makeup! I received so many compliments of how beautiful my hair and makeup was, and I thought it looked amazing in my wedding ...
pictures. Also, Teri did a a MAGICAL job in covering up a stress pimple that I was so worried about! I couldn't even tell I had one in my pictures. I realllly appreciate Teri's patience and hard work! Both Katye and Teri did an awesome job in helping me, my 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms get ready for my big day!!!
As for the makeup/hair timeline, I honestly was upset how it seemed as if my wedding coordinators were rushing Teri to have my hair/makeup finished. Teri had mentioned to me that day that she and my wedding coordinator had different opinions on when the bride should have her hair/makeup done. I agreed with Teri, that the bride should NOT be last to get hair/makeup done! Since I was last, my bridesmaids and I were not able to take pictures outside of the hotel (where the pretty redwood trees and the gazebo was), and I felt rushed to change into my wedding dress. :( However, I really appreciate Teri trying to explain to my coordinator what she believed the timeline should be.
I look forward to doing business with Teri again in the future!!! :)
I loved working with Teri and her team! She provided services for myself, my mom, my mother-in law, and 8 bridesmaids. I loved that she included a trial with her package so I could...
test out a few different looks before the big day. She was patient and really listed to our individual requests. I wanted dramatic lashes for my wedding, but found that the set of lashes were heavy and weighed down my eyes. Teri came back with a solution (layering two sets of lashes) that were extremely light and perfect for the day. I was extremely appreciative that she looked into this for me and found a solution. On the day of our wedding, she was on-time and quick with setup and take down. I can't recommend Teri enough!
Teri was great! Not only was she patient with 6 bridesmaids, my self and my mom, she was willing to make adjustments and offer professional opinions when asked. She made all of my ...

options during the trial that made the big day easy and enjoyable! I cried pretty much through the entire wedding and my make up completely stayed in place! My hair was stunning and fit well with my theme and outfit. I definitely recommend Teri!
(Review by bride) Teri is extraordinarily talented! No joke when I say this, but I put together an excel of 45 hair and makeup artists before picking Teri for my wedding. What set ...
Teri apart from the rest was her astonishing skill for eye makeup and her affordable prices. Biggest tip: go with airbrushing!! It lasted my entire wedding day, didn’t look cakey, and I had no need for touch-ups! Definitely exfoliate your entire face the day before. I accidentally forgot to exfoliate my nose and we had to go over that area a second time. The photos came out stunning. Also, Teri is very hygienic and that was really important to me. She’s also pleasant to work with. Thanks Teri!!
I loved working with Teri! She came highly recommended by my photographer and after working with her, I completely understand why.

inner, and full bridal party hair and makeup done with her. She did an amazing job for every single event and every single woman in my party including my Mom! She nailed the look I wanted on my wedding day! I felt like the most beautiful bride. I was floating on air the entire day!
For our engagement session, Teri met with me at 6:30 a.m. so that I’d be ready and back in SF by 10:00 a.m. for our photo shoot. The fact Teri was so accommodating with every request helped immensely during the entire process.
I sent her many, many emails at the start. She kindly responded to every one and answered every question I had about the process. I would highly recommend Teri for your future wedding!
I told Teri on my wedding day I was very sad I didn’t have another time scheduled with her. She was a big part of my 2017 life. She’s the best!
Excellent service !!! Teri took really good care of my bridemaids and myself. We all looked gorgeous! Thank you teri

Thank you so much for being a part of my special day!
Teri is AMAZING! I had a really picky bridal party, many of them didn't even want hair or make up done at all but after Teri and Sam were done they could not stop gushing about how...
beautiful they all felt. We all got so many compliments and so many people have asked me for her number for their day! On top of that we had the best time with Teri and Sam hanging out with us in the room all day they're the sweetest people! I can't recommend Teri enough.
Teri and Katye provided hair and makeup services for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and both mothers, for my wedding. She did a wonderful job! Our wedding day was 105 degrees outside, and ...
both my hair and makeup lasted from the minute I stepped outside, until the end of the evening. Teri had a time line so each girl had a scheduled time slot, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, and really helped to keep everyone on track- it was something I really appreciated. She nailed the exact look I was going with for my hairstyle, which was something slightly different than what we did in my trial-run, and I really appreciated how quickly she adapted to my new vision. She was extremely responsive via email and text, and even showed up early the day of the wedding and was ready to go when we all arrived. Thank you Teri!

ime and Teri patiently tried the different styles I was going for. The day of the wedding I requested a slight adjustment and Teri was able to accommodate it without issues. In addition to the talent for hair and makeup, Teri is very professional: the contract is very clear and straightforward, she's VERY punctual ( no need to freak out on your wedding day) and the beauty products she used are all high-end (I had perfect hair and makeup all night long).
In addition, Teri did an amazing job on my mom!! She looked so young and natural, so many compliments she got!
If you need a skilled, polite and amazing hair /makeup artist Teri is the right person!! Thanks so much!!

ble to reproduce the look I wanted using the photos I brought for inspiration. She can do any hairstyle and makeup look! On the wedding day, she was punctual and we actually finished early! I felt absolutely beautiful and my husband thought I looked gorgeous too! She is very talented and I would definitely recommend Teri!
Teri is absolutely amazing!! I swear she's a hair and makeup wizard. I woke up the day of my wedding with a sprinkling of the world's worst zits on my cheeks and forehead, and the ...
way Teri covered them up, you couldn't even tell they were there. My skin looked so radiant and natural, there were a few times I did a double take when looking in the mirror.
This was also the first time I've had my hair done professionally, and it hasn't fallen out after a couple hours! I have really thick, heavy hair. Whenever I put it up in a high ponytail, it's sunk to the nape of my neck within half an hour, no matter how tight I tie it. But Teri's updo was so beautifully and carefully designed that nothing fell out or sagged, AND it supported my surprisingly heavy (and larger than expected) hairpiece.
I can't thank you enough Teri, you're the greatest!!
Teri is simply incredible! I have never felt so beautiful in all my life. I had two events, and while I debated spending so much money on myself, I am so glad that I did. BOTH D...
AYS my hair and make-up were FLAWLESS. Teri also did my sister's hair. My sister is the pickiest person I know when it comes to hair, and even my sister said her hair was perfect. I only wish Teri could do my hair and make-up everyday!
Teri is AMAZING and did a FABULOUS job for my wedding! I've had my hair and make-up done before by other artists, but I have to say that Teri has been the best by far. She is profe...
ssional and patient. During the trial, I wasn't able to clearly articulate the make-up look I was going for and showed her samples with very different looks. She patiently helped me come up with the right look (and was even able to make last minute adjustments on the day of when my mother was vocal about ideas of her own. She knew what I liked and was able to balance that with my mother's ideas). As for my hair, during the trial she nailed it and was able to replicate it exactly on my wedding day. My husband was blown away by my hair and make-up. He was afraid I wasn't going to look like myself or that it wouldn't come out right as he had seen with other artists. We both LOVED the way I looked and I loved the way it made me feel. I could not have asked for more on my wedding day. Teri and her assistant were punctual, professional, did an amazing job for me and my bridal party. I highly recommend Teri!

he made it happen. I went to 5 hair trials before finding Teri, and within 15 minutes of the trial she did better than anyone else who has ever done an updo on me (and I am extremely picky... hence the 5 trials). I couldn't have asked for a better hair stylist!! My mom and aunt's hair looked incredible too! Everyone was so beyond happy with their hair, I can't recommend Teri any more. She worked so efficiently too, and was way ahead of schedule which was great for a tight timeline on the wedding day! Thank you Teri!!!
