The food was fantastic, everybody LOVED the salmon, and the churros were delicious. They also did an excellent job coordinating the other rentals (tables, chairs, etc).
My husband and I were so grateful to the entire team at Terra Catering for making our big day so special. I was truly impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to d...
etail from the Director Megan and her assistant Amber. Throughout the entire planning process, they kept in constant contact, updated me as needed, were obliging to last minute changes, and were exceptional at accommodating high maintenance family members from both sides. I would recommend Terra Catering to anyone and everyone who is planning a special event in the San Diego area!
Everyone raved about the food at my May 20 wedding thanks to Terra Catering! Terra was one of the caterers recommended to me by my venue and wedding planner. In the middle of my ta...
sting with Terra, it immediately became clear that I had to choose them as my wedding caterer. I literally did a happy dance when I tasted the local fish entree. Once I hired them, the whole team was a pleasure to work with, and I especially appreciated how my main contact Megan went above and beyond to be responsive to my inquiries and make sure my day was perfect. Megan and Terra also coordinated with my planner, venue, and Platinum Event Rentals to secure all my rentals for the event, which required a lot of extra effort. They also went out of their way to make sure they accommodated all of my guests’ allergens, including preparing a special no sodium meal for one of my family members. On the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch and I received so many compliments about my food, with the 12 hour braised short rib being a particular favorite. I’m so glad I hired Terra as my wedding caterer!
We chose Terra to cater our wedding due to positive reviews. Everything seemed great until the manager we had been working with quit and the new manager stepped in, after we had si...
gned a contract. There were multiple surprise costs towards the end, bad advice, and lack of communication at critical times ( 2 weeks before the wedding). At the actual event they pulled off the food OK, but the bar was an embarrassment. We originally had planned to do the bar ourselves because their packages are not great, but in the end decided it was worth the convenience. That was a mistake. We had one simple drink we wanted to promote because it was our favorite ( something they could make in bulk easily) and let them know ahead of time this was the case. First they charged us $100 extra for grapefruit juice ( yes, their packages are so outdated the only mixers they have are soda), then they completely ran out of tequila in ONE hour. We had an average crowd - not crazy drinkers - I don’t know what they were thinking while packing their inventory. Then one hour after that, they completely ran out of red wine. Our guests ended up driving to the liquor store to replenish. The staff blamed someone else for what happened, so we still shelled out proper gratuity which stung. I do not recommend this business.
Terra just catered my 170 person wedding. Megan Farmer is head catering and made the proccess seamless and effortless. She was there the day of my wedding making sure everything ra...

I was skeptical about working with this company initially as it was a preferred/required vendor from our venue, but they were FANTASTIC. The head chef even created special dishes t...
o match our budget and theme. The foot was tasty and affordable (about half as much as we were quoted from other preferred vendors). The bar service was lovely, though they ran out of certain alcohols kind of quickly (we had an open bar and plenty of guests who like to imbibe). The staff were professional and friendly - highly recommend!

itting to their menu and every time the dishes were perfect. Our menu was customized slightly but we stuck pretty closely with one of their pre-set options which included: chicken and waffle appetizer bites, al pastor mini tacos, and beef sliders. For our main courses, we selected the tri-tip roast, pork loin, and the pasta station with butter gnocchi and a bolognaise ziti. Ashley was very easy to work with and her team did a fantastic job with the dinner preparation and presentation, we will absolutely be returning to dine at Terra in the future!
The food speaks for itself, it was amazing! We sampled many of their appetizers and food and was never disappointed. Every guest loved their food. They also provided options for ou...

The food and Terra's service was AMAZING on our wedding day and exceeded our expectations. Being big foodies, my husband and I wanted to make sure that this was the focal point of the wedding, and Terra very much delivered! We highly recommend Terra for your wedding or any other special event -- you will not be disappointed!

We had no issues and the worked with us on every detail and made sure we were happy throughout. The Wedding day set-up was stellar and easy, such a relief knowing that you don't have to worry about this part of your special day. Go in and try the food and you will be blown away!!Get them to cater your wedding and they will show why they are the best. Also Molly the catering manager was so cool and fun, she was on-site for our entire wedding making sure that the guest were having a great time.
