Located in Escondido, CA, Terra Madre Gardens is a unique wedding venue that started with the desire to cultivate a change. More than 15 years ago, the owners of this destination found La Milpa Organic Farm community. They settled there with owner Barry Logan's blessing and began living off the land. Connecting with nature, they found a new way of life. La Milpa sewed the seeds for Terra Madre Gardens, the owners of which began realizing the benefit that living in harmony with nature provides. They developed farming techniques, crafted community programs, and passed on their knowledge to their children. La Milpa was later replaced by Stone Brewing, continuing the property's farming tradition alongside its fermentation practices. Transforming into Stone Farms, the land became a place to gather and learn. After five years of managing this program, a new venture was started, bringing the focus to Terra Madre Gardens. Terra Madre Gardens offers visitors a place to gain inspiration, learn, and experience. Built from a community of farmers, artisans, healers, educators, and yogis, this special place is a place of creative rumination. Here, methods for home gardening, self-healing, healthy eating, exercise, artistic expression, and happy living are explored. You can experience these through helpful workshops, delicious tasting opportunities, or serene strolls through the gardens.
