I had my wedding her recently and it was magical. Such a beautiful venue with great historical charm. The staff was also exceptional and was so willing to help us. The price was amazing for what we got and the time provided before and after for set up and break down was so generous and helpful. If I even plan any more events here in Goldsboro they will be my first choice along with recommending them to anyone who asks!!!

A Storied Past
The Terrace Room was once part of Hotel Goldsboro, constructed in 1924 by renowned architect W.L. Stoddart. In the days before air conditioning, guests could enjoy a relaxed, al fresco meal here. Hotel Goldsboro closed in the 1970s, but the Terrace Room was reopened and managed by the Weil family until 2024. Now, a local nonprofit, Literacy Connections of Wayne County, operates the venue and happily hosts events with up to 100 guests.
Your Picture-Perfect Wedding Day
On your big day, you'll have 2,500 square feet of space to use how you please. The Art Deco-style tiled floors and expansive windows provide an elegant feel, and guests will be able to mingle in the outdoor terrace lounge space throughout the evening. Your venue rental package includes the use of a catering room, set-up and teardown services, and a mobile bar. Cocktail tables, banquet tables, and serving tables are all available for your celebration. A dedicated facility attendant will be on-site on your special day to ensure everything goes off without a hitch. All of the proceeds from your event will go to Literacy Connections of Wayne County to help fund literacy programming across the county.
