Megan clearly knows Costa Rica well. She steered us away from the obvious stuff and we were better for it. Kids saw sloths, we found a waterfall with nobody else around, and the lodge she picked was perfect. Didn't feel like a packaged trip at all.
Megan planned us a great couples trip to Maui for a week. We skipped the resort pool scene entirely thanks to her recs. Tide pools, a family-run shave ice spot, kayaking a sea cave. Couldn't have done it without her. Thanks Meg

Hi, I’m Megan, founder of Terroir Adventure Travel.
I design deeply personal, experience driven journeys for couples who want their honeymoon or milestone trip to feel truly unforgettable. My approach to travel is shaped by my background as a researcher and professor of Wine Studies, where terroir means the connection between place, culture, and experience.
I believe the most meaningful trips are never one size fits all. Every itinerary I create is thoughtfully designed around how you like to travel, balancing adventure, relaxation, and those unforgettable moments that make a trip feel extraordinary.
This is boutique travel design, not corporate travel planning. I personally curate experiences, work closely with my clients, and obsess over the details so you can fully enjoy the journey.
Whether you are planning a honeymoon, anniversary, or once in a lifetime celebration, my goal is simple. To create a trip you will still be talking about decades from now.
