se photos are taking too long. Not on Tessa's watch. She had everything planned down to the minute and was so calm about it that we never felt rushed. We've continued to get compliments because of how nice and efficient she was. Wedding party members said it was the most fun they had taking wedding photos, and that it seemed to fly by. Our engagement session was like a dream come true, Tessa really made us feel comfortable, and gave us lots of prompts for posing, and was always sure to fix our hair/clothes/etc, which meant a lot to us. When it came time to prepare for the wedding day, Tessa made a schedule for us, which was incredibly helpful as we did not really know where to begin! Then she had us fill out forms for photos that we wanted taken, which helped keep the family wedding photos move quickly and efficiently. On the day of the wedding, Tessa worked hard to keep everything ahead of schedule and was essential to ensuring everything went smoothly. We could tell she really cared about making sure we had the best photos possible using her photographer’s eye for the optimal locations and lighting for ideal photos, which meant so much to us! When we received the photos, we were completely blown away; every single photo was absolutely beautiful and truly captured the vibe of the entire day! Tessa really takes her time editing the photos and is particular about making sure every detail in every photo is accounted for! We were also impressed by the turnaround time for the photos! Overall, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further, Tessa is absolutely the best of the best!

an amazing photographer and editor, I was completely blown away by her talent in person. Tessa is a freaking BOSS. She completely ran the show, took charge, and made our wedding day perfectly seamless. She worked so well with our videographer too. My entire bridal party is STILL raving about how great she was on our wedding day. More than just being professional, timely, and efficient, Tessa was so much fun to have around. Our bridal party was quite large and rowdy, but she handled us with such ease. She laughed with us and even cried with us. Tessa honestly felt like one of my bridesmaids. I have no idea when Tessa captured half the pictures she got. She was incognito for most of the ceremony and reception, sneaking around to get the best angles and the little details of the day. She was extremely respectful of our church's rules and still managed to capture the most beautiful and essential photos. She really goes above and beyond. On top of all of this, working with Tessa before and after that day was amazing too. The morning after our wedding, Tessa sent us 113 PREVIEW PICS. I was only expecting 5. Talk about going above and beyond... And then she was finished with all of our wedding pics within 3 weeks which allowed us to not come off our wedding high for a very long time. She also traveled to Chicago from Indianapolis for our engagement shoot on pretty short notice and was super flexible in rescheduling our shoot due to weather. If you do one thing to make sure you have the best wedding day, you need to hire Tessa. You won't regret it.

She was able to get photos over to us so quickly, that I was completely blown away, not only because of the promptness, but because of the gorgeous work she had done. Hiring a photographer is such an important decision; they are in charge for hours at a time and are directing and keeping your schedule. You have to trust them to do so incredibly much. Tessa did all this (and so much more) with a smile and with such levity that made our day even more enjoyable! Cassie was her second shooter and she was a joy to have as part of our day, too. Our day was perfect for so many reasons, but hiring Tessa was a huge part of that, and we are so thankful to her and Cassie for making the day everything that it was!

her photos capture the feelings we were having in each moment -- no video required. Not only are our wedding photos beautiful, they arrived SO quickly. Like most brides, I wanted to post a few photos the day after our wedding but was holding off for the professional ones. But Tessa to the rescue. She texted me 5-6 of her favorite photos LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER OUR WEDDING. Two days later, we had an entire highlight reel of approximately 50 photos ready to go...before we had even left for our honeymoon. Being able to have photos that quickly while we were still riding the wedding high was such a special and unexpected perk of working with Tessa. Selecting a photographer is one, if not the most important, part of wedding planning. If you want a photographer who is laid back but professional, creative but still classic, and genuinely acts like she wants to be there, hire her.

We figured out exactly how many hours I needed and made sure it fit with my budget. We had our engagement shoot in Chicago. Even though we are from Chicago, my fiancé and I had no clue where to take pictures. Tessa did her research and gave us so many options! We ended up with a little of everything - street art, bridges and skylines, and the beach. She also gave us such great direction. My fiancé and I had no experience with photoshoots before, but Tessa made it feel natural, easy, and fun. She's also super efficient, so I know that will be great for my wedding day. We got so many pictures done in such a short amount of time. We have SO many amazing photos from the shoot and we cannot wait for the wedding now!
