Tetherow Resort

We were married here in February. Our ceremony was in front of the beautiful fireplace and then they "flipped" the room during cocktail hour. The main reception room was stunning with excellent lighting. The whole day was seamless and ran so smoothly. The venue is a pro at weddings and Cassandra was fantastic. Very easy to work with and communication was exceptionally fast. Our friends and family stayed in the hotel as well as the on-property cottages and villas for rent. Everyone loved the location and amenities - even in winter! We would have our wedding here again!

My husband and I got married at Tetherow this summer and it was absolutely lovely! The venue staff were on top of it the day of and their event manager, Cassie, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. The only drawback is it's a bit pricey, but it was totally worth it! Highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding at Tetherow 6/4/2022. We couldn't have been happier--it's a beautiful venue with delicious food and great service. We also liked that the location was in town so our friends and family had a wide range of lodging options that were close to the venue. The staff (Jennifer, Cassandra, and Kat) were very responsive, professional, and helpful. We had a magical day, and everyone had so much fun!

We worked with Tara to plan our big day and she was amazing. Incredibly responsive and helpful. The venue was beautiful and our day was perfect, even with the last minute indoor ceremony due to weather. The bartender was accommodating to us as well. Would highly recommend.

Overall, while its a beautiful resort to suit your guest's accommodation needs, Tetherow is a private golf club. Members are priority one and with seasonal staff, it's a hit or miss, inconsistent experience. On-Site wedding coordination: 5 stars: Tara did a wonderful job following up and answering my many questions and requests. She went above and beyond doing her best to make our day special. Amenities & Accommodations: 5stars. With a restaurant, brew pub and poolside cafe, there are plenty of dining options. The pool is amazing and the cabanas provide perfect shading and space. We loved the vacation home rentals and the lodges are beautiful. The ceremony site needs little to no decoration as it overlooks the very picturesque golf course. Overall Resort Service: 2 stars. A few incidences lead me to this rating. First after discussing at length my guests golfing during their stay, the resort booked a golf tournament over Friday & Saturday without informing me. Second, once I noticed and shared my concerns about the tournament, I received a sorry but not sorry response. Third, I specifically ordered gluten free items from my baker who labeled and separated them for my celiac guests. The staff mixed up the bins and didn't label any of the cookies or cupcakes thus leaving many people empty handed. Fourth, the vacation home rental and check-in process is one of the worse customer service experiences I've ever had. I gave the house guest list to the staff 4 separate times and still had to correct it. When I asked for early check-in or late check out, I received the response they couldn't accommodate me and if 11 was too early for check-out, I should extend my reservation. This after my friend reminded the girl at check-in that I'm the bride. Finally one of my guests left his expensive Theory jacket behind at the event pavilion, and while all other items were returned, that one remains missing.

We are so happy that we chose Tetherow as our wedding venue. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the food is incredible and the staff is friendly and attentive. It was clear that they cared about making our big day as special as it should be. Shelly, the event coordinator, is helpful and flexible. We were impressed with the knowledge and thoughtfulness of Miranda, (the head bartender, I think). It was a joy to work with these professionals. Since mostly all of our guests travelled to Bend for the wedding, it was also a bonus that this venue has hotel rooms and rental houses. We didn't have to worry about people driving home after the reception, or the after party at the onsite pub, The Row. This venue has a lot to offer you and your guests and, in our opinion, clearly stands out from the other venues in Bend.

Tetherow is a beautiful location and opportunities are endless - many of our guests stayed on site (either in the hotel or vacation rentals) and enjoyed the pool, restaurants and golf. The staff (shoutout to Shelly) was great to work with and very responsive. The new Pavilion was perfect for our needs and we had so many compliments on the food, venue, and overall experience. The moment Scott and I came to visit Tetherow during our venue hunting, we knew we had found our place! Since the vast majority of our guests would be coming from other cities, states, and countries, we wanted a venue that people could come hang out for an extended weekend, so we could spend as much time with everyone as possible. We fell in love with how gorgeous the views and amenities were at Tetherow! Part of what sold us on Tetherow was the close proximity of the hotel rooms, vacation home rentals, restaurant, and bar. We ended up renting out all of the homes and many of the hotel rooms, which was perfect for all our guests to mingle and get to know each other over the weekend. Once we arrived we didn't even need a car- we all went snowshoeing from our rooms, took the shuttle into town to explore, and ate delicious meals at the bar and restaurant. The onsite coordinator, Shelly, was great to work with the entire year leading up to the wedding; she was consistently prompt in responding to emails, and so helpful and accommodating in helping us create the vision of our perfect day. Although Shelly had to be out of town for our wedding, Miranda and Grant totally stepped up to make sure our day was even better than we could have imagined. The entire weekend, whatever we thought we wanted and needed, they truly provided that and more! All our guests are still talking about what a great venue it was, how wonderful the accommodations were, and how awesome the staff all were! Scott and I had the best day and best weekend, and couldn't be more grateful for the large part that Tetherow played in this.

Tetherow is such a beautiful wedding and reception venue!!! The ceremony lawn overlooks the golf course and is absolutely breath taking! The new event pavilion is gorgeous as well! Shelly, the event coordinator, is so helpful and very responsive and her assistant Miranda is wonderful! Miranda was there anticipating our needs and was so happy to help with anything we needed! Everyone there was so helpful with whatever we needed as the bride and groom but also as guests! They have an amazing lodge that is so accommodating and has an amazing view! They are pet friendly as well which was incredibly helpful to have due to our chocolate lab that was our ring bearer! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue for a wedding or for a place to stay in Bend!

This wedding venue is gorgeous. It can be played up for glamorous rustic chic or casual laid back outdoors. It has lounge furniture and a fire pit that guests can sit by (this helps keep the older guests around once the dancing starts), a lawn area over looking the golf course for lawn games (also ceremony), a tent already set up, and dance floor. It also has all the chairs and linens, bar options and the food truly is great. The service, however, was lacking at the time. Our appetizers were passed out with out napkins until we had to ask for that to be corrected, the bride and groom was put up in the Murphy bed hotel room for the night (although still very comfortable), the cake was put out in the corner of the tent where the sun hits (even though I asked for it to be I the tent covered and that was what I was told would happen)- so do not get buttercream frosting, the coordinator was over busy and did not respond to emails timely once it was within 3 months of wedding date, and the staff did not seemed organized within themselves. I would expect more for the price you pay- however they did say they were addressing my concerns for future weddings. Be clear with them up fron
