e song on the playlist hit the nail on the head! He had everyone dancing and singing their hearts out, to the point that everyone was genuinely bummed when the dance party was finally over! Things we heard from our guests included "best DJ ever", "your DJ brought the JAMS" and "OMG I didn't want the dance party to end". Put simply, Miles helped us end our perfect wedding day on the biggest high note, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for an incredible time. Thank you, Miles, for making all of our wedding DJ dreams come true!!!

huge and absolutely speaks to the kind of company they are. Unfortunately as the wedding date was approaching our DJ was much less responsive. In addition to this, we were supposed to have a meeting with our DJ to go over everything and the meeting was extremely short (maybe 5-10 minutes) and in hindsight I realized there were things we definitely should have talked about. Then about 2-3 days before the wedding, I got a call at work from an employee at Texas ProDJ who was going to meet with our DJ to talk about final details and he had the music list from a year ago (our original wedding date) - which was drastically different from what we ultimately decided on. At this point I asked my coordinator to reach out to them, because I hadn't gotten responses to my last few emails (which detailed exactly what we wanted in terms of music). On the actual wedding day our DJ was excellent during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and first half of the reception. A hiccup we did have was during the first dance and parent dances our DJ just started playing the song without making sure we were ready/on the dance floor, so both times we had to basically run over because we were missing the song. This is something we absolutely should have discussed at our pre-wedding meeting. My husband and I were very selective about what we wanted to play at our wedding and had requested that our DJ work off of the playlists we had made. Also I had asked for things with a lot of profanity to be censored or mixed out. But to my dismay during the second part of the reception the DJ deviated heavily from our playlist, played songs like "Get Low" uncensored (which my husband asked him to change), and finished with a song that neither I nor my husband like. I just felt like towards the end it was a little less our wedding and more prom night, which was disappointing because the day had started our perfectly. I just wish there had been more communication, because I feel like a lot of these things could have been avoided. Like I said above, the overall experience was great. We would definitely recommend using Texas ProDJ. I would just make sure there is good communication, so you can be sure you're getting exactly what you want on your wedding day!

Texas Pro DJ has a client portal where you can choose "must play" songs, and likewise, "do NOT play" songs along with a pre-wedding meeting to go over the vibe(s) you're going for on your big day. The talent of the DJ, along with their client communication, made for an excellent reception and great time by all who attended. Highly recommend!

We reached out via their website and within a few weeks we visited their offices to take through our wedding day and the type of music we had expected. They use a software program that allows you to plan your day down to the minute, which gave us a lot of confidence that everything would go as planned. After we planned out our day and discussed our needs, we were immediately drawn to Jamin. He had DJ’ed a few parties we had been to and he always had everyone dancing. He has so much energy and passion for what he does and he made us feel like our wedding was the most important wedding he had ever played. On our wedding day, we knew exactly what to expect and had the timing (and accompanying music) all planned out. Jamin setup in various places around the venue and was well prepared throughout the day/night. We had an extensive “Do not play” list as well as a list of “must play”. Jamin was great at reading the dance floor and playing what he knew the crowd would enjoy. We were able to hear a ton of songs we wanted with a mix of his own personal style, which made the night perfect! We had so many people come up to us after telling us how awesome Jamin was and we cannot recommend him enough.

From the very beginning they were so helpful in fleshing out our timeline, accommodating our music tastes, helping us structure music for the ceremony, etc. On the day of our wedding our DJ, Britton, was just fantastic. We had so many guests tell us they had never seen so many people actually dancing at a wedding, and that the DJ was awesome. He weaved in basically every song we had put on our "Would Like to Hear" list, and he was so skilled in blending one song into the next. Plus, we had music play in 3 different locations (the ceremony outside, cocktail hour inside, and dancing in another space) and he flowed so seamlessly between those spaces, it was magic. He also did a great job with the extra mics, guiding the transitions between spaces, structuring the speech time, etc. We're so thankful that Texas Pro DJ helped us with our wedding!

This guy kept the dance floor full and played a variety of music for all ages! (We even got baby shark played for the kids!) The volume was more than appropriate for the space we were in. (This was huge concern for us because we had several guests with ear issues.) He helped to keep the timeline going through out the night, was high energy, and extremely professional but still personable the entire time. I can not recommend this company enough!

I really regret doing so. Our DJ was Brad, who is supposed to be one of the senior DJs...but you would have thought it was his first wedding. He almost made me cry literally 20 minutes before I was supposed to be walking down the aisle cause he came into the room (no warm introduction or anything) and said I have about 5 minutes for the rain to stop or there would be no music for the ceremony.. and in the event the rain did stop, it would take him an additional 20 minutes to set his stuff up out there so I needed to make a decision on whether to make my guests wait for him to set up or just get over it and not have music. So then I’m frantically running around trying to find someone that might have a bluetooth speaker in case the rain didn’t stop within those 5 minutes. Then he forgot to bring an extension cord so cocktail hour music was delayed. He messed up the father/daughter dance (played the wrong song) and when i ran up to correct him, he said I had it wrong on my e-mail list (which i didn’t and even triple checked later on). He played “if i had a million dollars” twice which is something extremely obvious as it’s an old unpopular song. I had many family members & guests tell me how cranky/rude he was. Then to top it all off, my aunt tried to request a song and he refused to play it...so my dad went and gave him $100 just so he would play it. Seriously? I was appalled. And no one wants to bring these things up to the bride on the day of her wedding, but I wish they would have cause that is absolutely ridiculous. It’s just really disappointing and i hate even having to write this review. Noelle was SO sweet and awesome to work with prior to the wedding! It was just the DJ that was assigned to us...and there aren’t any reviews that mention Brad so I’m not sure if there have been other issues with him or if he is somehow newer to the company but considered one of the more experienced DJs?? Who knows, and maybe he was just having a bad day/night (I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt) but regardless it was a regretful choice to hire this vendor for our big day.

in advance how our reception would go. The company has an online client portal that is super user-friendly and helps you select songs that you want for your reception. There is a even a "Do Not Play" list that you can plug songs into and they will not play those. We opted for no Cha Cha Slide or Cupid Shuffle :) Not only was Jamin an excellent DJ, but his MC skills are top notch! He kept the party going and made sure everyone was dancing! He was also super honest and helpful throughout the entire planning process and found ways to help us cut costs in some areas. We really appreciated that. So many of our guests asked for his business card at the end of the night so they could book him for their events. Overall, our wedding would not have been the same without him. I would recommend him to everyone! We love you, Jamin!

Our situation was unusual in that it was a Sunday brunch wedding, but Jamin still had people on the dance floor, engaged and having a great time. He had to compete with a photobooth and us projecting Mario Kart 64 for guests to play, but from directly after our first dances until the final song of the night – the dance floor was packed. One of my bridesmaids was sweating profusely from dancing so hard and texted me saying “I was surprised, I was enthralled, I was happily sweaty because I could not bring myself to leave the dancefloor, he truly did such a good job with transitions.” Britton chose a Queen song for our final song and it was one of the most insane things my eyes have ever witnessed. One friend was being lifted in the air. Another friend was sliding underneath someone’s legs (who she had never met before). One bridesmaid went sliding through the crowd on her knees, playing the air guitar. So I would say his ability to read the room was on point. Can’t wait to review our vows just to have an excuse for Britton to come hang out with us and make all my friends lose their minds. THANK YOU, BRITTON.

As we got closer to the wedding, Noelle was timely in her responses to my several questions, and helped keep me at ease in the week leading up to the wedding. On the day of, the sound quality for the ceremony was spectacular, and the music kept everyone on the dance floor! Andrew, our DJ, even made time to introduce himself to us prior to our grand entrance and made sure we knew that if we needed anything, he would take care of us. I have been to several weddings where the dance floor was empty and everyone was sitting at their tables on their phones, and I wanted to make sure this was not the case at our wedding. I believe Texas Pro DJ was a large part of why my reception was so incredible! Everyone had a blast and Andrew definitely knew how to read the crowd and mix the music so that the dance floor stayed busy. I highly recommend Texas Pro DJ!

So many of our guests are still talking about how fun our wedding was, and we owe a great amount of that to Barrington! There are so many DJ's to choose from and it can get overwhelming so, do yourself a favor, stop searching now and choose Texas Pro DJ!

We talked through our plans, music selection, he offered some insights and his thoughts (not in a pushy way) on some directions we could go. All of which really helped us in our planning. On the day of, man, he was on fire. He knew when to keep the music going, when to switch songs, when to slow it down. These guys really know how to do weddings. Andrew was great about rolling with things the whole evening, impromptu sing alongs, shout outs, he did it all like it was planned from the beginning. Texas Pro might be a little pricier than other options, but if your DJ is important to your wedding, it is worth every single dollar. Andrew, Noelle, and the team really made our whole wedding experience perfect.

The most disappointing part, which is why I am rating 4 stars is that it was communicated during our initial meeting that if we paid for a mic during the ceremony our guests would hear the vows we wrote for each other but no one past the 3rd row could hear a word of them. The one song my husband put on our requested list wasn't played and they did not accept song requests from guests. Overall, like I said the energy of the reception was amazing and the dance floor was busy most of the night!

I called Miles to let him know that we would likely need to post-pone but being the incredible person he is, talked me out of it. As a type A person, this stressed me out but I was thankful to finally hear back. Our DJ for the night of overall did a great job. He did play a few songs that were on our do not playlist but everyone had a great time dancing the night away. The lack of communication is why they do not get a full 5 star rating.

You can also make payments on the website, and update any timeline information. At the wedding, Anthony was INCREDIBLE. Even when I wasn't entirely sure of the vibe I wanted during dinner/cocktail hour, he was so great about keeping things chill. Then when the dance floor opened, he was amazing! He kept the energy going and was super interactive with all the kids, too! I would definitely recommend TX Pro DJ to absolutely anyone. One of the best things about them is that they take the worry off of you as a bride--they will take over as much or as little of the music selection as you want, and you can be confident that they'll do an incredible job!
