My wife and I were so excited to have Texas Sun perform at our wedding! Mikaela and her team were so helpful in pulling off our big day and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the result. We wanted a band to keep the dance floor lively and they did just that! From planning to day-of, we fully recommend Texas Sun if you’re looking to a live band for any event you may have.

Texas Sun Music was more than I could’ve expected for live music for our happy hour at our wedding! They even added in a live performance for our first dance which made the moment even more special. Working with Mikaela was wonderful, as she was so helpful with exploring my ideas and helping me to choose songs that would work for every element of our ceremony. Our instrumental duo of a guitarist and pianist during the ceremony were met with stellar reviews from our guests and performed incredibly, even on our windy wedding day. Although we didn't get the time to make it into cocktail hour with Erica, I heard only good things from our musically inclined guests and was even surprised by a special signature in our guest book. I’m jealous my guests got a 30min prelude of their music and I totally wish I could have heard everything they played! Texas Sun was super easy to work with, very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our wedding planning process! They have great options for musicians depending on what style you're looking for. We ended up choosing a guitar and violin duo which was perfect for our hill country wedding. They have a wide selection of songs, and can even learn a custom song for just a small extra fee. I had always wanted to walk down the aisle to my favorite song, and they learned it and played it absolutely beautifully! We also had them play during our cocktail hour which was great. They were extremely accommodating, responsive, and helped make our wedding day amazing!

Texas Sun Music is the perfect, quintessential Austin wedding musical choice. I knew we wanted live music for our ceremony, but wanted to find something more authentic to us than a string quartet. Mikaela was immediately so friendly, easy to work with, and encouraging of our vision and so patient with all of my questions. We ended up getting piano and guitar for our ceremony and cocktail, performed by her and her amazing husband, and it was such a hit!! I loved that we got to have input on the song-list from her super long list, and we got to walk down the aisle to our favorite Bill Withers classic! All of our guests raved about how cool it was to have real Texas group play, and they are the nicest, most down to earth people. No question about it, Texas Sun absolutely crushed it! Our brunch wedding wouldn't have been the same without them, truly. It's been 2 months and I'm still getting comments from guests about how beautiful the music was. They really set the tone for the day, and captured our laid back style easily. Mikaela was so communicative and organized, and she really put my mind at ease about everything leading up to the event. Hands down, one of the best acoustic groups in town!

Mikaela was absolutely fantastic helping us on short notice to find the perfect singer/guitarist for our big day, she was incredibly helpful and a diligent in her communication to keep things on track. Chase who was the singer/guitarist was phenomenal, he created perfect ambiance & setting in the build up to our ceremony, the precessional & recessional walks, the happy hour afterwards, our first dance and a mini-dance party pre-dinner. Mikaela was beyond helpful throughout the entire process and gave great recs for song choices. Her response time was always immediate, even when we needed a last minute mic added on - I think she was responding to emails at 8pm one night to get back to us. Mikaela helped us book the perfect acoustic duo for our wedding! It was also only about 2 months out from our wedding that we decided we wanted to have this entertainment, but she set us up no problem. The duo was on time, professional and had a great setlist. We celebrated our wedding at the Marriott in San Antonio Hill Country. I worked with Texas Sun Music to find the right guitarist for me. After listening to a few samples I picked my artist. Chase was exceptional. From cocktail hour, the ceremony, and dinner he had the audience amazed. His voice was exactly what I wanted. The entire experience with Texas Sun Music was easy, professional, and thorough. Angelo was amazing, he shared that he got married at our venue just before the ceremony and it made it all extra special. It brought it all together with the piano during the ceremony and now I want to hear piano all day every day. When we were prioritizing budgets for our wedding we knew we couldn't hire out a whole band, but we still wanted live music to be woven through so we turned to Texas Sun Music and ended up hiring one of their artists (Katrina, the best!) to sing us down the aisle, during the cocktail hour, aswell as some of the specialty songs (father/daughter, bride/groom song) and it was the BEST decision ever. We were able to have the best of both worlds, Katrina was such a professional and Mikaela was really easy for our wedding planner/us to work with. I'd 100% book them, and rec them for all events!

Oh my gosh! Where to start.... First stop Mikaela is such a sweet soul. We actually wanted her to sing at our ceremony and were super sad to find out that she was already booked for our wedding reception (which after a couple of messages back and forth, she was the lead singer in the band that we already booked!!!!) Mikaela ended up booking us with Katrina & her husband and her voice made everyone tear up while I walked down the aisle. Best decision booking. Mikaela and her team were THE most accommodating and sweetest group ever! We had our hearts set on her to play our wedding but Covid had other plans and unfortunately when we had to postpone, she had already had our weekend booked. However, she knew what my vision was for music and searched around to find a perfect match and did not disappoint! I worked with her before i hired a wedding planner, and then she not only worked so well with me, but transitioned and transferred all the information over to my wedding planner so I didn’t have to and it was all seamless! She hired Katrina for my wedding and her voice made every bit of our ceremony, cocktail and dinner a DREAM! It was a whispy beautiful voice that set the tone so perfectly for my fairytale wedding!
