Services Offered:
Texas Wedding Ministers provides religious, non-religious, non-denominational, spiritual, secular, interfaith, same-sex, civil, and more wedding ceremony styles. We also offer bilingual officiants that can perform weddings in English or Spanish. Texas Wedding Ministers provides premarital counseling approved by Twogether in Texas but does not require couples to complete this course. We believe every couple is different, so we’ve created 10 ceremony scripts that can be customized to include a wide variety of rituals that will honor and reflect your relationship. Our team can also perform ceremony rehearsals, vow renewals, and provide coordination.
What to Expect:
Head Minister and Concierge Reverend Rene Esparza, along with his team, will gather the details of your special day and send over a list of available officiants that fit your criteria, along with their profile and travel fees (if applicable). You can then schedule a FREE consultation with the officiants who stood out to find the perfect match.
Once you’ve decided on your minister of choice, reserve the officiant online with a $50 security deposit. This deposit is applied to the remaining balance which is due 30 days prior to the wedding date. Leading up to the ceremony, your officiant will be in contact to create a script that honors your love story. Texas Wedding Ministers always encourages rehearsals, although not required, so that couples feel comfortable and confident on their wedding day.

Reverend Esparza was incredible, absolutely the best I could've hoped for, he is kind, charismatic, and has such a warm smile it's impossible to not feel like you've been friends forever! Not only did he conduct a ceremony fit for our huge bilingual party, he also managed to incorporate our personalities perfectly into our ceremony. As a bride, his presence before and during the wedding gave me a such a sense of peace I cannot stress enough how important that was for me. My (now) husband and I cannot stop replaying our ceremony and vows in our heads and the beautiful words Rene put together for us. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! Our guests LOVED Reverend Esparza and our special day wouldn't have been the same without him!
We hired Minister Joseph and he absolutely delivered. He was extremely calming and professional with how he explained to us each step of the ceremony and what we needed to do at each step. He led everyone involved through it very thoughtfully. He had a wonderfully charisma about him and really made the ceremony something especially thoughtful.

We got married on August 24th and had Minister Joseph who did an amazing job. It was easy to locate him and based on his bio on the Texas wedding ministers website, it was an easy choice. He took the time to learn about us and wanted details about our relationship and how we got to the point of marriage. Our guest felt that he knew us personally and delivered one of the best ceremonies they have been part of. We completed the warming of the rings ceremony and it was very special and he chose the right words. I would highly recommend Minister Joseph

Customer service is horrible. Our officiant is a wonderful person. Speaking with him was remarkable, and really made me feel at ease about the wedding service, and the vision we had for the wedding.
That being said, we never received an initial invoice for the booking, and then received a late notice. I called the customer service number and the co-owner of Texas Wedding Ministers was extremely rude to me; she was patronizing and acted as if it was my fault that I hadn't received the invoice. In the middle of the conversation, she hung up on us.
Speaking with the other owner, Rene, didn't help much as he tried to be cordial, but was as patronizing as she was.
My suggestion is to not go through this type of service and look up officiants in your area.
Minister Matthew Telepak made us feel heard before the wedding and was both professional and accommodating to our requests. He was excellent and we would be at ease recommending him to others!
10/10 would recommend. Reverend Koenig was so sweet and accommodated us by including Catholic vows without the full mass. He mingled with our guests and joined us for dinner after. Worth every penny.
Reverend Jon was one of our favorite parts of our wedding day! The ceremony he performed was beautiful and fit us so well. We met with him a few times prior to the wedding and it felt like he really wanted to get to know us and our relationship. Would highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of working with Kim in Houston and she was absolutely amazing. I felt like I was running out of time when it came to planning but as soon as we got in contact she was so amazing about helping me figure out how the ceremony would flow. She was so responsive leading up to the wedding day. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kim. She made our ceremony so so beautiful and everything flowed so well.
We were new to the area when we started planning our wedding and stumbled on Texas Wedding Ministers. We were paired with Paul Douglas and could not be happier with our experience. Paul was kind, attentive, and professional. He was open with us through the entire process of planning and made sure our ceremony was seamless and beautiful. We cannot thank Reverent Jon Koenig enough for the incredible ceremony he performed on our wedding this past weekend!! He made us feel so comfortable from the beginning. We had previously witnessed him perform my uncles ceremony in English and Spanish, the flow and warmth of the ceremony is definitely what drew us in! We would not have wanted it any other way!!
Mark Sastre was great!! He was so polite and very professional. He reached out to us to set up a Zoom call to get to know us and explained the whole process. We highly recommend Mark to be your officiant!
DO NOT recommend. The Officiants are nice, but the front office/company is unprofessional and lacks proper communication with customers and their own employees. The good reviews and comfort of having a backup Officiant if anything were to happen day of drew us to booking with TWM. 2 weeks before our wedding day our officiant checked in with us, made sure we were good to go, and was looking forward to our wedding. The day before our wedding our original Officiant had a family emergency, we were contacted by the front office saying everything was okay, our script developed with our original Officiant was in the portal, and our new Officiant would be contacting us. We finally got in contact with our new Officiant at 10 pm and reviewed the script, which was NOT the script chosen and agreed upon with our OG Officiant. At midnight we had to call the new Officiant to clear up confusion and send the original script to our new Officiant. The new Officiant arrived early to ensure everything would go smoothly, which was appreciated, and needed as there was more confusion around the script and vows. After the ceremony our new officiant struggled to fill out our marriage license and asked us (newly weds, never married before) how to fill it out! Luckily our photographer was there to help out and ensure the parts needing filled out by him were completed. After the ceremony we contacted the office informing them of the issues we had with the script and marriage license. We were told we didn't sumbit our script beforehand hand and tgat we were contacted multiple times about it (we never received any emails indicating we needed to do something/sumbit/agree on a script etc.) The only communication prior to the day before the ceremony with TWM was a text message about signing the contract, through the initial zoom call/script selection and redlines with our original officiant a month before the wedding, and the 2 week email check in with no indication of us needing to do anything else except show up. We provided the front office with documented emails between us and our original Officiant and then they blamed their own employee for sending us a script he shouldn't have (that we were lucky to have the script we got) and that our original Officiant was new and will be talked to about what he did, but it was still somehow OUR fault for their inter-company lack of communication. We paid around $400 for us to essentially organize everything 16 hrs before our ceremony. This company is only in it for the money and not for a smooth and stress free ceremony. Save yourself the lack of sleep and stress before your wedding. Now going back and reading the 1 star reviews this we are not the only case with Texas Wedding Ministries lack of communication and not knowing how to fill out marriage licenses.
We hired most of vendors through the knot, including Texas Wedding Ministers (TWMs). based on their reviews. Most importantly, we chose TWMs based on the fact that they officiated bilingual weddings. In particular, we were excited to find an officiant who originally from Mexico and we felt that we had things in common with her. Also, we chose them because their website reassures you that they will make your wedding experience "stress free". Unfortunately, working with them was a bumpy ride. After signing the contract with them and paying, The minister didn't reach out to us for about a month. We reached back to TWMs, and she quickly explained had tried to reach out to us ONCE, but dialed the wrong number and did not try again. Then, she no showed to our first meeting since she overslept. She then explained that she had been sick but was very apologetic and reassured us that everything was going to be OK for our wedding so we decided to give her another chance. About 2 weeks before our wedding, she scheduled a "final details" meeting to be done a week prior to our wedding, but 5 days before that meeting we just received a notification that the invite had been canceled. She did not reach out to us personally, which she had been doing in days prior. When we reached out to her she mentioned that she was leaving TWMs and would not be officiating our wedding. I asked if she could send the notes that she took from our first meeting to the next officiant, but she mentioned that she had not prepared anything in the previous meeting. This was incredibly stressful for us. Reverend found us another officiant, about 9 days before wedding. She was nice and on time on the day of the wedding, however it seemed like this was one of her first weddings to officiate. She was very nervous, didn't stand in the middle of the arch, and filled in our marriage license wrong the first time (day/month and not month/day). Correct filling of the license would have been noticed if it had been read carefully. On the spot, that was also stressful for us since we didn't know if it was going to be accepted. She corrected it, and ultimately the license was accepted by the count clerk, but we were planning on framing it and now it is not the neatest to be portrayed.
To conclude, while everything worked out and our second officiant was nice, this was not the best experience for us. We feel like for the cost we could have just had a friend ordained and had a more a smooth and process and more personalized wedding.
Jon Koenig did a great job at officiating our wedding ceremony and was very easy to communicate with. He worked with me to tweak the speech and was a good speaker. I highly recommend using him as your officiant.

Reverend Jon officiated our 12/31/22 wedding and made it such a special occasion! He understood the balance of humor, spirituality, and poignance that we wanted for our ceremony. He took the time to understand who and what mattered to us. He was also incredibly professional, responsive, and personable. Texas Wedding Ministers is such a fantastic source for couples who are looking for their perfect officiant. We spoke with several great officiants, all of whom would've probably also done a great job.
Amanda was the best officiant. She took our couple's questionnaire and turned it into a beautiful custom ceremony. We had a unique idea of doing a unity shot during our ceremony, but we weren't sure of how it would work. Amanda did an amazing job of incorporating our idea into the ceremony. Reverend Leigh could NOT have done a better job. We did the completely custom ceremony package because we wanted movie/tv show quotes incorporated into our ceremony. And she did not disappoint! I come from a semi religious family and was not having my wedding in a church. The amount of praise I received on Pastor Richard after the wedding was astounding from that side of my family. He was very well spoken and very clear. He made sure to meet with each of us prior to the wedding to review what was going to happen (which I am great full for since I was so nervous I could hardly pay attention to what he was saying during the ceremony). Pastor Richard even went as far as helping my poor fiancé tie his tie. We only knew him for a few minutes and he made us feel like we have known him forever. Minister Joseph co-officiated our wedding this past November, and I am so happy that we chose him! Joseph was extremely friendly and personable, and reached out several times before the wedding to let us know that he was here for us. He worked great with our rabbi and helped us create a wonderful interfaith ceremony. We were also “blessed” with rain during the time our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place. Father Richard made our wedding very special.
Let’s start by saying that communication and planning with Father Richard are excellent. He regularly follows up with you to plan ahead all the ceremony details and logistics. His preparedness makes you feel at ease; you can feel everything is going to be alright.
And in regards to the ceremony, he makes an outstanding job making it traditional, entertaining, and we’d say immersive.
For us, a latino couple, the fact that Father Richard spoke perfect Spanish and had good knowledge of our culture, was a great plus. Specially because he was able to make all the guests part of the ceremony.
We’re very grateful to Father Richard and feel blessed that he was part of our wedding.

I just want to say our elopement was fantastic! Our photographer (Leah Thompson) made us feel comfortable with while take pics. She directed us how to take great pics and just made everything fun! Our minister (Joesph Devlin) was amazing. He was on-time and reached out to coordinate what to wear with me about a week or two before the wedding. Reverend Tim Ball was everything we were hoping for in an officiant. He is extremely personable, kind and very passionate about what he does. We were able to spend some time getting to know each other before the wedding which made us that much more comfortable on the big day. I'm so glad we booked Rene from Texas Wedding Ministers for our wedding! We did the custom wedding ceremony package and I'm so glad we did. The ceremony he put together was so beautiful and also very "us." I got several compliments from guests about how good he was.
Even before the wedding day, he did a good job answering our questions and putting us at ease. We don't live in Texas and he helped walk us through the process of what we needed to do.

Being from out of town it was hard finding an officiant but Texas Wedding Ministers made it so easy. We were able to pick a Reverend that had previously lived very close to our current city so when we met for our rehearsal we felt just like neighbors. TWM was extremely responsive to messages and helped resolve any issues quickly. (Mainly from me not being able to keep up with all my emails!) I highly recommend checking out this company for your wedding day needs. They have many options and I'm sure you will find one to meet your needs!

I had high hopes for Texas Wedding Ministers but was disappointed. I booked with them well in advance, paid the deposit, then didn't hear back until a month from the wedding when they were requiring full payment. I let them know I had had zero contact and I was told that the pastor I booked, Julian Rodriguez, was on vacation currently and he would get back to me when he returned but that I would need to go ahead and finish paying the remaining $450 if I didn't want to lose them. Mind you, all without ever being contacted which is extremely unprofessional.
We finally received the questionnaire forms about ourselves to fill out after we paid since we had chosen custom vows. I had to call them a week later asking why I still hadn't been contacted. The receptionist put me on the calendar for a phone consultation after that, but Julian never reached out to schedule with me.
We were worried about the vows because of our families and wanted to know more about them but I was promptly told NO and that we would not be allowed to know anything about our vows and needed to trust the process. Are you serious?! After you failed to contact me and consult me or even get to know us as a couple thoroughly, you want me to trust you? I finally consented and the wedding day came. Pastor Julian was nice and calming as a person which I appreciated, but the vows left something to be desired. We paid $500 for custom vows and were told it'd be 30 minutes long. We received 15 minute vows that didn't feel polished and were not any better than the provided list to choose from on their site. My advice is to go with the preset ones as they feel better laid out and have a better flow to them. I had been planning to submit our marriage license myself, but Julian offered and told me it would be no problem and he would have it done immediately the following Monday.
It's now March 24th and we were married on March 5th. I waited 3 weeks and when I went to try and obtain certified copies of my marriage license was told they had nothing on record there or there other offices. It is now day 2 of trying to get into contact with Pastor Julian to figure out what happened. I am continuously told he is out of office, not available, and he will return my message the next chance he gets. Overall this experience left me feeling like an afterthought and left a bad taste in my mouth.
Reverend Tom Ball was the perfect addition to our wedding vendor team! When we watched the videos, we had an instant connection with his style. He was laid back and personable which put us at ease during what could have been a stressful time. He customized our ceremony to include the uniting of blended families. I could go on and on. He was absolutely wonderful and we highly recommend!

The perfect choice!! We hired Minister Joseph Devlin to officiate for our big day. Our first meeting was over FaceTime, since we live out of town and weren't able to come meet in person. But it was totally good and felt comfortable right away even over FaceTime - Minister Joseph is personable, professional, down-to-earth, and we felt like he was the right fit for us.
Texas Wedding Ministers provides a really easy experience: they gave us several vow options from which to choose (you can also write your own if you want), and there was a perfect one that suited us for our non-denominational ceremony. They also offer add-ons for special touches - we added a love letter / wine box ceremony, which is such a nice idea!
Minister Joseph met every expectation we had - he was punctual, friendly, kind-hearted, and professional. Overall, the experience was easy and flawless, and all communication with Minister Joseph and with Texas Wedding Ministers was flawless, friendly and reliable!! It was one thing in the wedding planning that I did not have to stress about, as I knew we could trust the follow-through and reliability - a HUGE PLUS with all the stress that comes with planning! We had Reverend Rene Esparza as our officiant and we could not have asked for anyone better to marry us on our big day! Although our wedding due to Covid was really a small and intimate event in the backyard of a family home in Austin, Reverend Julian made our special day a really special one. We are particularly grateful for the Company as they, in accordance with their promise on their website, did indeed found a replacement officiant when our originally assigned officiant due to unfortunate circumstances beyond his control could not conduct the ceremony. We were really pleased, relived and grateful that our wedding was unaffected and everything went ahead as planned. Wonderful! Rev. Mike Ezer officiated our wedding last Saturday in Fredericksburg and he did such a wonderful job! He far exceeded our expectations when he arrived early to introduce himself to me and the groom, handled a faulty PA system in stride, and coached my Dad and I (the bride) where and when to pause before the altar. He delivered our selected script with such warmth and compassion. We received so many compliments on the ceremony from our guests and that's primarily due to Rev Mike Ezer's guidance and the compassion he conveyed through his readings. We are so happy we chose him as our officiant and can't say enough good things about him!

We hired Texas Wedding Ministers specifically for Reverend Tim Ball!!! From the moment we watched his video, there was an instant connection that we were drawn to. No matter the day or time, he was always available when we had questions or concerns, and lord did I have a lot! We changed our vows to make our ceremony as different and unique as our relationship is and he gracefully honored our changes. From the rehearsal, on to the ceremony, Reverend Tim was the absolute greatest choice we could have ever chose. He is consistently professional, an overall joy of positivity and the most down to earth person that we are blessed to call a friend who we consider close enough to family! Can not recommend Texas Wedding Ministers enough! We were lucky enough to have Reverend Tim Ball perform our ceremony and it was like having an old family friend there with us. He took the time to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted and brought so much joy to it that it was contagious. So so so grateful!!!!
And our coordinator April was amazing!. Took all the stress out of worrying about the details so we could stress and worry about not crying😆. It was such a gift to have her there making sure everything went as we hoped.

Reverend Rene Esparza was absolutely incredible for our July wedding. He was very professional and personable.
My wedding was two weeks after my cousin was killed. I was unsure if we’d even continue with the wedding but Reverend Esparza was incredibly understanding and helpful during such a bittersweet time. After we decided to continue as planned, he was so supportive and caring.
He really helped make sure our day was still a celebration of love despite the events surrounding it. I’ll be forever grateful!
