If you are looking for a wedding DJ who will absolutely elevate your entire night, go with DJ Joia with TH Entertainment! Working with him was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we cannot recommend him highly enough.
From our initial meeting, Joia was incredibly intentional. He took the time to meet with us multiple times to really get to know us, understand our personal taste, and lock in our overall vision for the day. That level of care and prep work made a massive difference—he put tremendous effort into ensuring the music felt personal, smooth, and tailored entirely to us.
When it came to the actual reception, he executed everything flawlessly. His timing and ability to read the room were elite; he knew precisely what to play and when to play it to keep the energy electric from start to finish. We had multiple friends come up to us throughout the night (and after!) specifically to comment on how on point the playlist and mixing were.

Most recently, I worked alongside Tre, and he was an absolute dream to collaborate with! Tre is such a kind, calm soul—which is an invaluable trait on a wedding day when emotions and energy are running high. Tre was thoughtful, organized, and collaborative throughout the planning process. He helped us build a music plan for every part of the day and worked with our day-of coordinator to make sure all of the audio and AV details were aligned with our timeline.
On the wedding day, everything was flawless. Every cue was perfectly timed, the microphones worked without a hitch, and the transitions throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing were seamless. Most importantly, the dance floor stayed packed from the first song to the last!

I feel like a lot of DJs these days simply press play on a playlist and let it run, but Tre is a true mixer. The playlists he created for each event felt very unique and curated to exactly what we had requested, especially the music during cocktail hour and our reception. After the night was over, we heard from several of our guests that “that was the best wedding DJ I’ve ever seen at a wedding,” and we could not agree more with that! When the dancefloor broke out, Shawn kept the party going and we had guests commenting about how he played nothing but "bangers" all night.
We also hired live music through Kat to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Kat helped capture the vision we had in our minds perfectly and helped ensure that all of the live music details went smoothly.

Shawn was so thorough with every planning meeting and he made sure that all of our concerns were heard and our wishes were implemented. On the wedding day, I was very impressed with how professional both Shawn and Austin were. One of my favorite parts of the evening was when they Shawn started playing a song that was mentioned in my matron of honor's speech at the end of the speech itself. I ran over to her and asked if she had planned that with the DJ prior and she said he played it right in the moment. with Tre through our venue at Bonnie Blue's and we are so happy we worked with him! Between my music taste and my husbands, we had no idea what our wedding would sound like. And that's not normally what you think about when planning a wedding. You know there will be music playing, people dancing, but you never truly understand how big of a part music plays in the overall setting throughout the day. Tre took the time weeks before our big day to go through all of our music tastes, must plays, songs to avoid, and who we were as a couple to understand how to curate our day to sound perfectly. And he hit it out of the park! Our favorite songs were played throughout our day to help bring us back together, get people on the feet to dance, and hit songs to bring everyone together. You never really think about how your wedding will sound, and you should, it makes a big difference being able to look back on your wedding day and remember how you felt, seeing the happiness and love on everyone's faces, and hearing the music playing in the background. The sounds that you enjoy together, helping make those memories even more special. We cannot recommend Tre enough and hope everyone realizes how important music is for not just any day, but your wedding day too.

my side of the family didn't know Spence as well as his family knows me. I knew that I wanted to tell a story throughout our wedding so people could get to know us as a couple better. Music was one of the biggest ways we were able to do that. It felt like such a personalized experience from start to finish. We definitely had some unorthodox ideas when it came to our ceremony and cocktail hour music. My husband and both love movies, so all of our songs leading into the reception were movie themed - specifically movie scores. My brother even played my aisle song live on his guitar.
Trevor was our DJ, and he was awesome at incorporating all of our ideas into the day. He worked with my brother and officiant before the ceremony and made sure to coordinate logistics. During the planning process, he scheduled several touch-base meetings to make sure our vision was captured. I especially loved the fact that our dance floor had music for all our guests - our friends, family and older guests as well. Everyone danced at various points in the night, and we felt that Trevor was great at reading the room!! 10/10 would recommend TH for your wedding DJ!

The music throughout the day was perfectly curated—from the pre-ceremony playlist to the coffee hour and, of course, the dance floor. We even received several compliments from guests about how perfect the music was before the ceremony and during cocktail hour. On top of that, the sound quality was flawless; the microphones during the ceremony were so clear and natural that we forgot we even had them on!

I wanted to love TH Entertainment... We heard great things about them. Unfortunately not only was our DJ unreliable (was at minimum 10-15 min late to every meeting we had prior to ...
the wedding, didn't follow through on requests, and had large misunderstandings that caused issues during our wedding ceremony) he was also not very friendly when approached. Most importantly when mistakes happened during our ceremony and cocktail hour that they were providing services for, there was very little done to try and remedy their shortcomings.
We confronted the DJ to ask they discontinue playing music through the speakers to allow the two string instruments that we hired to play as intended and planned upon. This mistake persisted throughout our precessional, recessional and into cocktail hour. Which is unacceptable.
We approached this complaint with patience and reasoning as we understand that mistakes happen. However, I was very disappointed with how the company handled this mistake. We paid a fair amount for their services, and they did not deliver or communicate as I would expect any professional company to proceeded with a disappointment this large in stature.
At the end of it all I wouldn't recommend this vendor for your music needs at all.

as a company. It was our intention to give you the absolute best experience for your day which is why we went above and beyond, and offered additional services for free to make sure you didn't have anything to worry about.
You may not have been made aware of this, but we actually held several meetings with your sister behind the scenes. She was insisting that we do not involve you, but she was frankly demanding a lot from our team, and expecting us to provide services outside of the scope of our work for free. This lead to additional stress and confusion during the day that easily could have been avoided with additional equipment and prep time, but she was unwilling to compensate our team for that.
We agree that your DJ being unreliable and unfriendly is absolutely unacceptable. We will be making adjustments internally to ensure this does not happen going forward.

As huge music lovers, we came in with plenty of “must plays” and ideas we couldn’t let go of, and Joia not only embraced them but also offered smart feedback and suggestions that elevated the entire soundscape of the night. The end result was a setlist that felt perfectly “us” while keeping the energy flowing for everyone.
On the day itself, he was fun, energetic, warm, and seamlessly integrated into the celebration—another cherished part of our wedding, not just someone behind the booth. The dance floor was packed all night, and friends repeatedly told us the mixing was flawless, the song choices had personality while still being friendly to a wedding crowd. Even the bartender commented how refreshing it was to hear something other than the same tired wedding tracks.

family’s Polish music with our favorite EDM and indie songs, and even some Latin hits during the night to keep the dance floor packed! Joia played our favorite indie songs that we were worried wouldn’t be great on the dance floor during cocktail hour and dinner, which was an awesome surprise and everyone absolutely loved! Joia took the time to learn about my family’s traditions and even how to pronounce family member’s names correctly. With a big Polish family, we wanted a big party all night. He truly brought the energy and the party with his announcements and our guests had a blast! We met with Joia three times leading up to the wedding, and truly felt he wanted to get to know us and our vision for our wedding at each meeting. He was extremely organized, responsive, and kind. We also filled out a thorough questionnaire that really helped us with our music choices. There were a lot of transitions and movement of spaces throughout our wedding, and we thought Joia did an outstanding job getting guests where they needed to go and keeping the party going! We even had some last minute timeline and music changes, and Joia was extremely understanding and helpful. We couldn’t recommend Joia and TH Entertainment enough! Thank you again!
