We cannot say enough good things about our DJ James. We’ve known him since high school, and he had DJ’d some of our house parties over the years, so we already knew he was someone we trusted to make our wedding a great time. Luckily we’ve known him for years so you don't have to guess if he’s a good DJ or not, just take it from us! He absolutely exceeded our expectations! Our guests were raving about his mixes all night long and even weeks after. I had numerous guests come up to me and him asking him for his information or a card because they absolutely needed him on their wedding day.
He did an amazing job reading the room and mixing music to fit our vibe all night long. We wanted a mix of country, hip hop, rap, and everything in between, and he transitioned between genres so seamlessly. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests had such a great time!
We also used his photo booth, which was a huge hit with our guests. Everyone loved it and it was such a fun addition to the night. James even created a background for the photos, which were printed onsite, that was catered to our wedding specifically. He used our invitation and wedding website to create our specific photo background which was perfect to our theme of the wedding. James brought with him what looked like 100 different props for the booth which of course were used over and over. James also has numerous backdrops to choose from which might match your wedding aesthetic.
From start to finish, he was professional, easy to work with, and truly helped make our wedding so much fun. We had a few meetings throughout the process to go over everything and James made it a point to ask specific questions and make sure he was doing everything he could to make our wedding day so special. We would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ and photo booth for their wedding or event. We’re so glad we had someone we’ve known for so long be such a big part of our wedding day!
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding at The Venue at Carley Brook. James Tha Boy Maloy kept the energy going all night, reading the room perfectly and never letting the dance floor go empty. The music selection was spot on, mixing our requests with crowd favorites that had everyone from the wedding party to our grandparents dancing. Professional, easy to work with leading up to the day, and genuinely fun to have running the show. Highly recommend for anyone getting married in the area.

- James MaloyOwnerGrowing up in a big family, everyone had different music tastes, so I was always exposed to music of all different genres. Whether it be my uncle's classic rock & 80’s rock collection, my mother’s disco & 80’s pop hits, or my brothers and sisters' alternative rock & hip hop collection (Let alone my musical collection). I was exposed to all these different sounds throughout my early and teen years, which in hindsight gave me everything I needed to perform well at all my shows and read the crowd no matter what age range it might be. DJing has always been a passion of mine since I was young.
