and just wanted a great party without having to obsess about tiny details. This was perfect. The events manager, Tasso, was fantastic to work with, and every staff member we interacted with was lovely. We knew we were in good hands, and everything went smoothly for the event. Plus, our guests couldn't stop raving about how great the food was, which isn't always what you hear at weddings. We got exactly the wedding we wanted.

d the wine cellar for the ceremony and reception to try to keep costs down, but they ended up giving us all three floors for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, for the same cost because it was more convenient for us! The service was great, and the food was really, really good. I highly recommend!

ectly. The wine cellar with the skylight and open space alter was perfect for our ceremony, and the red-brick walls and cobblestone streets added a lot of fun New York charm to the day. Additionally, we have family members with limited physical mobility; accessibility wasn't a problem and the staff were very attentive to making sure that people were where they needed to be. The food is AMAZING. Everything on the menu is delicious and the staff there are such professionals. Tasso in particular is an amazing coordinator. My husband and I are both doctors with incredibly hectic schedules, and Tasso was warm, understanding, and accommodating. He did an incredible job helping us both through the planning process and the festivities on the day of the wedding. We felt that the price packages too were very reasonable. In particular, we were pleasantly surprised to have been able to include a couple guests at our wedding tasting. All in all, Thalassa was a wonderful place to host a day so special. Our family members universally had an amazing time ("best wedding I've ever been to" was common comment) and had nothing but compliments for the space, the food, the staff, and Tasso especially.

When we contacted Thalassa, we were introduced to their general manager, Tasso. He was the game-changer! It quickly became clear that Tasso was extremely detail-oriented, communicative, and dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction. This effort, exhibited before we had even tasted menu items, put Thalassa at the top of our list. I scheduled a tasting with Tasso, on a busy Saturday night no less, and he could not have been more accommodating. He toured me around his beautiful restaurant while my fiancee was FaceTime'ing with us. We immediately fell in love with the wine cellar, which is furnished with masterfully hand-crafted Greek wood tables. Then I began wine tasting. The selection is to die for! Afterwards, I began sampling several items from the Private Events Menu. The freshness, quality, and delectability of each bite was almost overwhelming. That locked us in. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Tasso was communicating with us regularly and responding to any questions we had. Truly attentive. Needless to say, our wedding reception went off exquisitely. Tasso even made arrangements for our live singers to perform using the on-site PA system. We received countless compliments on the food and service provided my Thalassa's staff. The tastiness of the food reflected its beautiful presentation. The bartenders and butlers were always available to us and our guests. Many of our friends and family also commented on the beautiful decor and ambiance. We did not decorate a thing. That's just how Thalassa rolls. Thalassa, Tasso, and Chef Ralpheal Abrahante were the BEST! I wish I could add more stars to this review.
