Nestled on the shores of Biscayne Bay, on Old Cutler Road, in the Village of Palmetto Bay, stands Thalatta Estate. Today, this vintage mansion serves a prominent role in the community as a unique park for outdoor weddings as well as an event and program venue. Your guests will take a pause as they arrive through a grand coral rock walled entrance to witness a stunning two-story Mediterranean estate and majestic banyan tree flanked by a quaint Carriage House. The 1920's Main House, with its beautiful fireplace, original Cuban tile floors, upstairs lounging quarters, offers spectacular views of the sprawling estate grounds and Key Biscayne to the east. The two-story Carriage House has been modernized to include park offices, a prep kitchen for catering, restrooms, and upstairs lounge area.

tate to confirm accident, and Thalatta Estate won't provide footage. My theory, it's been deleted? Or the cameras are inactive? Not sure? But either way, I'm out $$ for their inability to provide the necessary footage to the valet company. (Why have cameras if you can't get them to work!?) Take responsibility.

The renovations made to the Estate made it so much easier for the wedding party to get ready and that was a huge plus.My only criticism is events must end by 11pm and your caterer is forced to stop serving alcohol 1 hour before the end of the event. This came as a big surprise to us when it was mentioned for the first time at cocktail hour...needless to say we were not happy to learn this vital piece of information. ere. Mary Fernandez, the manager, was so helpful in giving us a tour of the beautiful estate, and all the services offered. They were doing construction all summer, even only a couple weeks before my wedding, but by the time our special day rolled around, there was absolutely no trace there had ever been a hard hat or construction vehicle. It's the perfect venue for weddings. My wedding was about 200 people, and it was perfect for a tent and dance floor, with a beautiful intimately lit walk down to the waterfront.

was gorgeous and all our guests loved it. We used the waterside ceremony space and the terrace for the reception. The bridal suite was huge, sunny and comfortable for lots of people and my husband enjoyed the groom's suite as well. I don't think I have one negative thing to say about our venue. Heads up, valet and security are required, but the price is still very affordable. Be prepared to need to bring in tables, chairs, etc because the venue is just the raw space. But that was great for us. Thanks for Mary and Vanessa from Thalatta for helping our wedding to be a success!
