And you're bound to miss a few moments, 'forget' that you nailed an epic dance move, or see it go by in the blink of an eye. I was very conscious of the 'old tale' that your wedding goes by so quick, you've got to take it all in... and it's true - it did go quickly, but for those little moments I mentioned before, I knew I had Thalia on my squad to bring all of them back to life through photos. And she did not disappoint. Throughout the wedding planning process, searching through vendors can be extremely stressful - you're pressured to find someone who fits within your budget, is available on your date, and more importantly, someone who makes you feel comfortable on what is slated to be the best day of your lives. From the get-go, Thalia had the energy and personality that I was looking for, and I think her obsession with "The Office" made me like her even more... without even meeting her face-to-face! Also - as a TypeA bride, her attention to detail and organized manner was a sign from heaven. She sent me an 'example timeline' of the day, which really helped bring the day to life and was something I really appreciated. The moment I found out she was available on my date, we hopped on a call to talk through details, and shortly after, I told my fiance that our search was complete -- Thalia was our girl. After just one phone call, and endless hours of obsessing over her previous wedding galleries, I knew my priorities would be addressed, my fears would be diminished, and my wedding day would live on forever through her photos. Leading up to the big day, I wanted to meet her and get a taste for her shooting style & direction, so I booked a secret boudoir session that I would use to gift my husband, the morning of our wedding. Best.decision.ever. My personality is very... unique, so I also wanted to give Thalia a taste of who she'd be capturing on the big day, and she embraced me like no other... getting my boudoir photos back not only gave me a sense of BBE (bad b*** energy), but it solidified my decision of bringing Thalia onto our squad. Also - it was SO much fun... so if you're thinking about doing one, here's your sign to do it & embrace every part of the beautiful woman that you are. All in all, when the big day arrived, Thalia exceeded all of our expectations. She arrived on-time, came with great energy & excitement, and directed my very LARGE family / wedding party like a pro. I feel like I didn't even notice she and the team were there, keeping a low profile and allowing me to just enjoy every moment with confidence that she had everything else under control. We also really appreciated the nice surprise of seeing a handful of sneak peaks while we were on our honeymoon.. which got me even more excited to see the rest. Today, a few weeks after getting my photos back, I still find myself looking through them every day to relive the little moments with a huge grin on my face. My fiancé and I also have never had professional photos taken so we were not the most confident in front of the camera. Thalia guided us and made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. During our engagement session, she put on music that happened to be some of my favorite songs. When I saw the photos from our session, I was blown away and so excited for our wedding. When the wedding day came, everything went beautifully. Thalia made us feel so comfortable. My favorite part of the photos we took was when we went to Prosser Pines for photos of me and my husband. It was so much fun! We even brought some of our favorite beer and got some shots with it (just like we did for our engagement session). When we got our wedding photos, we were absolutely blown away!! I am obsessed with them! They were everything that I imagined them to be and more! Working with Thalia felt like working with an old friend. crazy the wedding season is and continues to be, we were afraid of not finding someone on such short notice. Thalia was responsive, flexible, and incredibly understanding of our situation. She was fantastic day off and made all of us feel comfortable, confident, and appreciated. Most of these questions were ones I would’ve never thought to communicate with her and I’m very thankful for that. She was very intentional to get to know who I am and what was most important to me on our wedding day. Thalia knows what she’s doing! Because of her, the wedding photography was the least stressful aspect of planning a wedding. She had a timeline and stuck to it. I am not used to being photographed in a professional setting so Thalia was a wonderful coach and helped me to feel 100% comfortable. This sounds weird but throughout the day (certainly the ceremony), I wasn’t aware of her but the photos were PHENOMENAL. She truly captured the essence of my spouse and I. She captured the emotions of the day including us, the bridal party and our guests. She knew who the most important people in my life were and made sure to capture them as well. That is an extremely special gift that I will have forever. As for receiving the photos, it was SUPER easy to download, the quality of the photos was mind blowing! She also made sure the vendors had their own digital albums so I wasn’t stressed about distributing any of them. I can’t say enough good things about Thalia! We had the pleasure of meeting Thalia at the Bridal Expo in 2019 and fell in love with her authenticity and style of work, not to mention we also had the amazing surprise of winning a free engagement photo shoot too. She asks you a bunch of questions cause she genuinely wants to get to know the couple, their interest etc. We took our photos late November at Blydenburgh Park Historic District just before sunset and OMG did Thalia exceed expectations!! She is so sweet and very comfortable to work with. She captured the photos I was looking for along with the one I never knew I wanted. The shoot was soo much fun and we have amazing photos to show it. Our anniversary was on 12/2 so I was hoping to just get a handful of sneak peaks. To my surprise she delivered my entire gallery, 176 photos to be exact, on 12/1! Completely exceeded all expectations. The pictures are stunning and I still find myself looking at them daily. It was worth every penny and we will cherish the photos for ever!!! Impossible to pick a favorite. Thank you Thalia! You’re the best.

The email communication and general communication with her was timely and she answered all my questions and gave me guidance when needed. Our first encounter was for our engagement shoot, which btw I am so glad she suggested we do this because it helped my husband and I get acquainted with not only Thalia but just to get a bit more comfortable with doing a professional photo shoot. Thalia has a very warm and inviting personality. Our engagement shoot was in Central Park, NY. Thalia made us feel so comfortable during the shoot and had a light hearted energy to her, my husband hates taking photos and even he enjoyed himself throughout the day. Leading up to the weeks of our wedding day, Thalia would check in and her timeline of the wedding day was so helpful and really helped eased my nerves as to how the day would go. On our wedding day, Thalia arrived early so she could take photos of all the details. She quietly took photos of things that I didn't even notice until I saw the final prints. Throughout the day she made me feel so calm and I really appreciated that. My family kept saying how sweet she was and how easy going she made them feel. The timeline Thalia provided was spot on! We had our first look which was perfect, Thalia captured moments with my grandmother that when I looked at them I cried. I spent hours researching for a photographer the first time around and I was feeling nervous that a new photographer just couldn't live up to my expectations (we had already done an engagement session with my original photographer and we loved her). I was so grateful to have found Thalia after one of my bridesmaids suggested her since she did a friend's wedding. She had a similar style to my original photographer but that shouldn't overshadow that Thalia is her OWN vibe! Thalia did NOT disappoint. From day 1 just inquiring about her services until delivering my gallery post-wedding, she was professional but easy-going and made me and my now husband comfortable every step of the way. She has excellent communication skills --I never felt really confused, and always knew I could ask questions where I needed clarification. In person, she is an absolute sweetheart. She has a very calm demeanor and knows when to give feedback or call the shots without being overpowering. I had a few moments of frustration right before my first look with my husband and during our early half of our couple portraits with my guests walking through the venue in a route that they would see me before the ceremony which was giving me anxiety and while I did have the help of my wedding coordinators, Thalia also effortlessly stepped in at times which was unexpected and made me feel so seen and understood on a day where emotions and nerves run high. Our gallery was absolutely stunning. There were NO bad photos! I joked with her saying even the "okay" shots were good! And when I say "okay" I just mean the shots that no one expects to be blown away by like your table setting or random candids of guests, but they were still somehow so perfect.. so intentionally shot and edited that I really felt myself reliving the day over again. I am a firm believer that you can only take care of others after you take care of yourself. From how Thalia presents herself on social media, she seems to have a good balance, setting healthy boundaries and realistic goals. What's more impressive is that even though I can see that she puts herself first, I as a client have never felt like "second place", and that is truly a skill in itself. Secretly, and perhaps selfishly, I hope all my local future family members and friends getting married that I'm either in the bridal party for or attending the wedding hire Thalia not just so they can have lit photos but also so I can feel like I'm working with her again! If you like her style, and you're thinking about it..stop thinking and starting having the confidence to invest in her and know you'll be in good hands! Wedding planning is stressful and it may be a one-day event, but your experience leading up to it and the feelings and memories you'll remember after are truly something you cannot put a price on. . I was so scared picking a photographer. I had a hard time finding a photographer in my budget. thalia was one of the few who was closest to it, and still she worked with me on pricing which i was so grateful for. The options are endless out there, but as soon as i came across thalia’s page I knew I had to have her for my big day. Her photography style is gorgeous and she the process so easy from the moment I contacted her. She was quick to reply and really got to know us. She asked us to fill out a survey and we made sure we were a right fit for each other. I think thats super important and not all vendors do this. I am so not a photo person and neither is my husband, so we wanted someone who was okay with that and also could make us feel comfortable. From day one she did just that. She is such a professional but also has a comforting homey feel to her. I feel as if I have known her for so long. She fit right in with my bridal party from our stupid movie quotes to the music we played all day. It was honestly like having another friend in the bridal suite with us. Once we got the photos, I was even more amazed by her. I am obsessed and have not stopped looking at them since i received them. If you are looking for an amazing photographer (for almost all your photography) needs look no further. Thalia basically does it all and im sure i will be using her in the future!
