Thames River Greenery

l bouquet was so beautiful I am freezing it as a keepsake. Charlotte also listens to what you want and doesn't try to "sell" the standard wedding look. I highly recommend Thames River Greenery and Charlotte, the master flower arranger.

I didn't have particular flowers in mind but I showed pictures of the types of bouquets that I wanted to Charlotte who immediately pulled out some flowers and greenery and showed my just the style I was thinking. She suggested in season blooms and I ended up with a gorgeous bouquet of peonies, spray roses, hydrangea, and snapdragon. The other bouquets and boutonnieres matched the theme of mine and all were beautiful. They arrived promptly when we did at the mansion so we had the flowers for all pictures beforehand and they held up wonderfully all night long. Thank you Charlotte for such lovely flowers!

cially on my bouquet. My bouquet is currently drying and still looks almost as beautiful as it did on Saturday. My maid of honor said that her flowers are still very fragrant. The roses I saved from the cake still look like they are freshly picked! The mothers and grandmothers loved their corsages. My mother-in-law is still raving about hers! I thought that her prices were pretty reasonable compared to other florists in the area, especially with the awesome service and quality of the flowers. I had her do my bouquet, my maid of honor's bouquet, a tossing bouquet, three miniature bouquets for my flower girls, corsages for the mothers and grandmothers, boutonnieres for the groom, best man, and fathers, two arrangements at the church, hydrangeas with bows on the pews, and roses on the cake. My mom and I ended up doing the centerpieces ourselves to save some money, but if you can afford to have her do them I'm sure it would be worth it!

owers. Although they were pretty, they were the opposite of what I had asked for. I had wanted loose centerpieces with peonies and garden roses and bouquets in a similar style with trailing greens. The key word here is loose. Like a fresh picked armful of garden flowers. It was all in the paperwork. Mary Lou and I were on the same wavelength at the first meeting. She knew exactly what I wanted and we were both excited. The flowers were really important to me. Then, it seemed as if she forgot all about my wedding. She never called for our follow-up. I finally met with her and it seemed almost too late to order the flowers. She acted as if we had never spoken before and although we had every detail on paper in the contract, I felt as though she was on a total different page. I showed her the example photos again, but it didn't seem to click. I left the store almost in tears wondering what I would be getting for flowers. On my wedding day the flowers arrived as I was getting ready. No one wanted to bring me the bouquets. Even my friends and family, with very little flower arranging experience, knew these bouquets were far from my style. Luckily, it was my wedding day and nothing else mattered except that I was surrounded by my favorite people in the world and I was about to marry my best friend. I took one look at the bouquets, said "I knew they would turn out like this" and continued on with the day. To sum up, the flowers were pretty because well, that's just the nature of flowers. But the bouquets were tightly wound bunches without a single trailing green and the centerpieces did not even whisper "loose". I hate the fact that if I would've had the time I could have done a better job!

local dahlias, and Charlotte even called me each time the batches came in from the farm so I could be sure to have the best idea of what things would be like leading up to the wedding. Everything look beautiful - they are true professionals, fun to plan with, and beyond knowledgable.
