s a DJ is truly essential to our day, as he made all of the announcements, and kept us on time. He pays attention to the atmosphere well and plays music accordingly. He was so kind and thoughtful and made us feel so special.

nning, his price was very reasonable, and he did an amazing job guiding the wedding and putting on a great show! He went above and beyond, decorating his table according to our theme without us asking him to. He went above and beyond bringing the best equipment and reading the room to give us the BEST party at the reception. The music he played was awesome and so many people at the wedding gave compliments to the DJ and asked us for his information because of how good he was. The DJ can really make or break a wedding, they are the voice of the whole event, and Bill MADE ours.

the wedding. Bill did a great job getting the vibe of the room and playing to the crowd. He was very accommodating to the day of requests, special shout outs, and changing anything at a moments notice. Some djs play a set playlist and it can feel stale, Bill was very dynamic and kept people dancing all night!

ok the time to really get to know us as a couple and understand our vision, and it showed in every part of the night. He customized song choices in the moment to keep the dance floor packed all night long for all ages. So many of our guests told us he was one of the best DJs they’ve ever seen. He kept the flow of the evening perfectly on schedule while still making it feel natural and fun. A standout moment for us was when he mashed up two songs just for us: one for the father-daughter dance, and another incorporating the Severance main title score because we’re big fans of the show. It was so thoughtful and personal. He even went above and beyond by lending us his tripod so we could film our ceremony on our phone. The DJ is one of the most important vendors to get right, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had DJ Bill. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

asm and energy to the day, and he was truly a master at reading the room—keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor. He also served as an excellent emcee, ensuring that the entire evening flowed seamlessly. In addition to the reception, Bill handled all of the music for our outdoor ceremony, and everything sounded perfect. One of the things that really stood out to us was his state-of-the-art equipment. It made such a difference—especially during the ceremony—because his wireless lapel microphones made it possible for every word and note to come through clearly - allowing all of our guests to enjoy the moment. Bill clearly takes pride in his work, and his attention to detail, warm personality, and ability to keep the energy just right made our celebration unforgettable. We're so grateful for everything he did to make our wedding so special! We highly recommend That’s Entertainment to any couple looking for a skilled, reliable, and genuinely caring DJ.

For the ceremony, the sound quality was amazing and he went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. At the reception, everyone was dancing all night and we received multiple compliments on how great the music was. I recommend Bill with confidence for any event.

on such an important day. Bill made the planning process leading up to the wedding so easy, while also being very thorough. He was very communicative, professional, organized, and overall a very fun person to work with! We trusted him to execute our meticulously planned day, and he went above and beyond expectations. He was one of our vendors who made us feel truly excited for the wedding instead of stressed. It says a lot about a DJ when your dance floor is packed for HOURS! Picking the right DJ can really make or break the whole experience. I promise you will not regret choosing Bill & That’s Entertainment Disc Jockeys for any event!!

ur must-plays and “no-go” songs. Without missing a beat, he helped with our ceremony sound setup, skillfully managed live music mics, and handled every announcement with ease. His genuine care, adaptability, and infectious enthusiasm made our wedding night feel utterly unique. Our friends and family are still talking about how fantastic the music and atmosphere were. We can’t thank him enough for his above-and-beyond support and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

es a breeze. Bill left no stone unturned leading up to our big day, and his expertise and talent were on display from the moment guests arrived, through the ceremony, cocktail hour and speeches, and (of course) our reception! I wanted our dance floor to be lively and fun well into the night, and Bill made that a reality at our wedding. I can’t recommend Bill/That’s Entertainment enough, especially for anyone getting married at the University & Whist Club in Wilmington (he knew our venue inside and out!). Bill listened to our needs, wants, and even wishes, and he made it all happen. THANK YOU!!!

ll out a detailed questionnaire that covered everything from our music preferences to timeline logistics, which made the planning process seamless and gave us peace of mind on wedding day. Bill handled the uplighting and sound system for both our ceremony and reception, and everything was flawless. He made sure to cover the little details, like how to pronounce each person's name during the reception introductions. He helped us curate a perfect playlist for dinner and dancing, incorporating our specific song requests while also reading the room and keeping the energy high all night long. If you are looking for a DJ who will go above and beyond to make your wedding day perfect, I can't recommend Bill & That's Entertainment Disc Jockeys enough!

st phone call, it was clear that we were in great hands with Bill. He listened to our vision of our overall wedding vibe, and he offered great suggestions, shared what has worked (and importantly what has NOT worked) in previous weddings, and provided a clear outline so that we were as prepared as possible for moments like introductions and first dances. We insisted from day 1 that we understood formalities (like cake cutting) needed to happen, but that we were prioritizing dancing all night long. He worked with us to arrange a “silent cake cutting”, and truly from the moment the dance floor opened until the final beat of the last song, we were up and dancing. He did a great job of reading the room and played the right songs at the right times to keep the party going. From the dance floor itself, many guests asked where we found him and commented on how great he was. Bill went above and beyond in preparing specific cuts of music for us both for first dances and in our final song of the night. 1000/10 recommend hiring Bill to DJ your wedding (or ANY party) – especially if you dream of throwing the dance party of the century (second to ours, that is!!)

music can be intimidating but Bill made it so much easier and less stressful!

to our needs. He took the time to understand the vibe we wanted and helped us create the perfect playlist for every moment of our big day. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day, DJ exceeded all expectations. He had the perfect mix of music that kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. What truly set him apart was how in-tune he was with the crowd—he knew exactly when to play the right song to keep the celebration going. The transitions were smooth, and everything ran seamlessly. If you're getting married, do yourself a favor and book DJ—you won’t regret it! The whole process was so easy, and he made sure everything was handled with care. He went above and beyond to make our day extra special, and we’re so grateful for his contribution to making our wedding unforgettable. Truly the best DJ ever!

Working with him felt like collaborating with a friend or family member. When it came to the big day itself, Bill was professional, fun, and super organized. He uses high-end equipment, and not only did that make for a great DJ experience, but we also had him do audio (discrete lapel mics) for the ceremony itself. If you are considering Bill for your event, do not hesitate!!

talking back and forth with a vendor. Bill felt like a friend. He listened, communicated, suggested, and went the extra mile to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. He was accommodating, professional, and everyone loved his clean set up and the way his music flowed! There was always someone on the dance floor. He made sure the audio for our outdoor ceremony was perfection and even made a custom monogram for my husband and I on his DJ booth! Everyone loved Bill and so did we. I cannot recommend this talented gentleman enough! You go Bill!!

nd were incredibly thorough in addressing every detail. They were quick to respond to all of our requests, including adding on beautiful up-lighting that truly transformed the reception space. On the day of, Bill and his team executed flawlessly, keeping the dance floor packed with their fun and energetic music selection. We couldn't have asked for better value - That's Entertainment provided an incredible experience that our guests are still raving about. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a top-notch DJ service for their wedding.

my day would look like. He sent me photographs and videos of his set-up previously done at my venue. He has the expertise of accommodating to spaces outside of your typical banquet hall. He coordinated well with my other vendors to communicate his plan and ensure his vision was also attainable. For my wedding, Bill arrived hours before the guests to meticulously set up 3 different sound systems so I could utilize all the space my venue had to offer. The set up I wanted was something he had never done before but he did it without making me feel like I was asking too much and when the day came, it was as if he had done it 100 times before. In addition to music and microphone support, he provided transformative uplighting that enhanced the dance floor until the last song. At the after party, my friends and husband could not stop talking about how great the dancing music was. In addition to my wedding, I had to pleasure of attending a wedding that Bill worked and I watched him work quietly and quickly behind the scenes to move sound systems to be with the guests and work hard to get people on the dance floor. Bill is not just a DJ, he is a professional and passionate party leader and prioritizes his clients wishes. He takes pride in what he does and cares so much about making his end of the job perfect.

ur wedding day. Then on the wedding day was very organized and our reception and dance party went perfectly! We had several conversations with him leading up to the wedding day going over many little details to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and nothing that we didn’t want. I was even texting with him in the last couple days leading up to the wedding working out some last minute changes/details. Absolutely recommend Bill to everyone.

ly showed and he made this whole process a breeze! During the wedding, he was all over it and our guests were raving ours was one of the best weddings ever. He listened carefully and really helped our vision come to life. He is a true bright spot in the often times daunting planning process! Look no further than That’s Entertainment for an incredible wedding experience!

ur day and did not have to worry about anything. We had some last minute schedule changes, the weather was not in our favor, and even with all of those wrenches thrown in Bill was able to pivot accordingly and handle everything gracefully. In regards to the actual music- he absolutely killed it. He had everyone of all ages on the dance floor and knew how to read the room to keep the party going. Thanks again, Bill, for helping make our day perfect!

He listens to all your concerns and provides suggestions if you are unsure. For our wedding, everyone was up on the dance floor all night…if that isn’t a testament to his workmanship and expertise, I don’t know what is. As my husband said, “There’s other DJs, and then there’s Bill”. Book Bill for your next event! You wont regret it.

nd disappointed with each — we got on a call with Bill and immediately knew we found our guy. Schedule a call asap. You will not regret it. Bill felt too good to be true. Professional and familiar, Thoughtful and communicative. Bill was prepared to make sure our wedding was magical and he more than delivered. From that first call, he put us at ease. He was our project manager - scheduling monthly touch bases and advising what was missing from our to do list. His preparation throughout ensured the night flowed perfectly. Every minute matters and Bill made sure the mood and tone of the cocktail hour, the dance floor opening, the speeches, etc was perfect. He sent us a day-of itinerary and allowed us to adjust where needed — he was our guide throughout. Bill listened to all of our Playlist hopes and dreams and attended to all our requests and edits. On a day when we had to worry about so much going right, Bill was on top of every detail and then some. He communicated with our wedding planner on our behalf. He even had backup equipment just to quell our fears of something going wrong. Beyond many of our guests raving about his work at the end of the night, Bill even created a CUSTOM FIRST DANCE for us so that our favorite song could fit our time requirements. He then allowed us to change that song the morning of our wedding! Yes - I called Bill at 10AM on our big day and worked with him for 30 minutes to explain what we wanted changed. He edited the sound perfectly! In short - Bill is a professional, communicative and understanding, thoughtful and protective of your Big Day. He will guide you to creating a reality from your dreams and expectations for the night.

ght questions and additional questions we didn’t even think of to ensure our day ran smoothly – and it sure did. e coming up to me and my new husband asking where we found our DJ because they loved the music so much! Even our guests who weren’t known for being on the dance floor danced the night away! Our crowd had a large age range and everyone enjoyed his work! If you want a great DJ, who will please you and your guests, Bill is the DJ for you! We are so grateful we booked him! We would recommend him over and over again!

great attention to detail and he did not disappoint. His equipment is top notch - we especially appreciated that he uses lapel mics for the ceremony so we didn't have to worry about bumping into a standing mic or having one get in the way of photos. He carefully worked with us on all the specific details and songs we wanted, including one in Mandarin, and gave great guidance on the flow of events. Would certainly recommend choosing Bill as your DJ!

ent. He was thorough, professional, and personable during our wedding. We would not have wanted anyone else to DJ our perfect night!

Bill listens & is extremely flexible and goes above and beyond to meet the wants & needs of the couple. He puts so much effort into every detail from pronouncing names correctly to making sure he checks in with you on a regular basis and is very responsive. Honestly Bill was born to do what he does, he is very professional, such a natural and so organized. The quality of service and the value you get is beyond comparison. He made our fairytale dreams come true… Bill is worth way more than what he quotes and given the chance we will hire him 10x over. Love, Angelique & Josh.

ng and our guests had the time of their lives absolutely made our dreams become a reality! He made the ceremony and the reception perfect with lighting and sound. The dance floor was packed throughout the entire reception and that included the one hour extension we added to the reception. The feedback we have received from our guests (of all ages) was that they have never had a better time at a reception and that was all due to Bill's hard work and his ability to provide an amazing experience for all!

se look no further. I’ve shared a few details below about why our experience with Bill was so great but if all you’re looking for is validation that you’re making the right choice in picking Bill to be your wedding DJ, look no further. Professionalism & communication: Bill was extremely professional in all our exchanges, and very communicative and transparent with every question we had. He was extremely quick to respond and very easy going, clearly excited to be part of our wedding planning process, which made us excited in turn. We never worried when it came to Bill and the services he provided and we were right not to – he showed up on time, delivered exactly what we talked about, catered to the vibes of the party, had a BLAST doing it, and even went the extra mile to stay a few extra minutes to keep the party going a little longer. I really could not speak more highly of how easy it was to work with him. Setup and Lighting: One of the things we loved most about working with Bill was his commitment to his craft. When we first started talking to him, he was extremely excited about his new lighting setup. A few months later and closer to our event we learned he had bought a brand-new lighting setup that was the best technology he was even more excited about. The fact that he will go out of his way to ensure he has the best technology speaks volumes to the commitment he has. By the way, the setup did NOT disappoint. The lighting was AMAZING and brought the entire vibe of the room together. Without it, I truly don’t think we would have had the afterparty that we did with Bill. Overall Set: Bill took all of our song preferences into consideration and truly made sure he maximized the songs we had requested – that being said, he was amazing at catering his set to the vibe of the party, and it really did not disappoint. Guests were constantly on the dancefloor and constantly excited about the music. Even if I had not given any song requests the vibes in the room would have been the exact same and that’s when you know you have a good DJ on your hands. Cost: Bill was super affordable and for the time that he performed for us, I would call his pricing a steal. I cannot recommend Bill enough for his services and can guarantee it will be a good time with him at your next event!

. In all of our conversations, his first concern was what we wanted the day to feel like. For our recessional song and reception entrance songs, Bill queued them up to specific points in the song to maximize the feeling we wanted to get from each song. This was beyond what we expected and turned out fantastic. We wanted a reception where everyone had fun and danced all night. Bill made it happen! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He was professional, reliable, but still brought the party!

ond his solid music selection (which was highly aligned with our genre preferences), he ensured the cadence of the wedding stayed on point and things kept moving (ie, transitioning from bridal party announcements to first dances, then speeches, and so forth), which is really important for those looking to ensure a seamless experience. I have attended weddings where the DJ struggles to maintain this cadence, mispronounces names, among other things that distract from the event and could have been easily avoided with additional preparation. This is not something you will need to worry about with Bill, as he was very organized, spent ample time planning, rehearsing, and asked the right questions (takes experience to know what questions need to be asked). I also think Bill genuinely enjoys what he does, which allows him to deliver a high quality and customized service for his customers. Excellent job Bill, and thanks again for making our day so special! We really appreciate it! Best, Matt & Kim

nd fun for us to articulate and execute our vision. By the end, he was as much a part of the wedding as my own friends—we loved him that much! It was important to me to have a fun wedding and Bill totally got my vibe and made it even better with his own ideas and professional experience. Not to mention his lighting which added so much ambiance! I would recommend him to anyone! Go with Bill and I guarantee you peace of mind which, as a bride, can be hard to come by!

ng planning process. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night, and helped make our wedding reception the party we dreamed it would be. He has so much attention to detail, read the room perfectly, and made several wonderful suggestions as we were picking out songs before the wedding. He also has a very state-of-the-art uplighting system which added the perfect vibe to our reception space. If you are looking for your wedding DJ look no further! Thank you for everything, Bill!

o make the evening fun and memorable. Highly HIGHLY recommend him for any and all event needs!

orried covid bride and groom and made our wedding the experience of a lifetime. Bill was professional, responsive, and an absolute blast at the wedding. He took the ideas that were in our head and put on a great show at our wedding. From the music choices, to announcements, uplighting, and general flow of the wedding, he was second to none. He went through everything step by step and left nothing to chance. Something that I have learned is that a DJ can make or break a wedding and Bill was top notch. At least half our guests told us throughout the night and days following that our DJ was awesome and it is the most fun they have had at a wedding. Bill made sure all of the other vendors were prepared with a schedule and made sure the wedding party was ready for their responsibilities. Much better idea to go with a single person than a big company who doesn’t care about the experience. Support local business! If you are in need of a DJ, he is the man! All the best, Bill! You know who we are calling the next time we have an event! Dan and Amy
