We had our wedding at The 1859 on December 7th, 2024 and it was beautiful. I don’t have one complaint. The night went so smoothly. The venue is beautiful and Kate is amazing along with her husband. They are attentive and extremely helpful and were there the day of the wedding to answer any questions and make sure things went well. I would not change one thing if I had to do it all over again. Highly highly recommend!!

The 1859 is a lovely little venue in downtown Loveland. My wife and I got married here just this past month and everything went perfect. I think it is the perfect venue for a small to medium sized wedding. The owners, Kate and Shane are also lovely. They were super easy to work with and coordinate everything for our day. I would highly recommend this venue.

My husband and I held a party at The 1859 after we returned from our destination wedding. Kate Harden and her staff were incredible! They made the planning process very easy and seamless. They were very communicative and answered all of our questions promptly; providing suggestions when we weren’t sure what we wanted. The venue itself is so beautiful, unique and in an amazing location near downtown Loveland. I would highly recommend this venue for any type of event- they will work with you to make your vision come to life and have fun doing it!

We hosted my daughter’s bridal shower tea at the 1859 in April and loved it so much! Kate was amazing! Starting from the initial tour, she asked all the right questions, gave us great ideas and provided names of potential vendors we could use to make the event run smoothly. During the planning process, she was quick to respond to any questions we had regarding the space. The guests couldn’t believe how beautiful and tastefully decorated the venue was. It’s an eclectic mix of preserving cozy and nostalgic old decor with all new kitchen amenities and technological features that make it totally functional for big parties.

We loved the 1859 for our wedding ceremony. Kate was quick to help us with our needs and very accommodating. Kate and The 1859 did an incredible job creating a flawless and seamless wedding day for us. We used the bridal suite in the morning for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and then the venue space for our reception after the wedding ceremony. We also held an afterparty on the back patio, which was picture-perfect and well tended-to by the staff.
From start to finish Kate was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond when she saw opportunities to add more value to our wedding day. She offered lots of help finding local vendors and discounts in the planning phase. Kate was forth coming with any potential issues and quick solutions and was tentative to the bridal party all morning as we got ready and had vendors entering and exiting the venue. She was personally present for most of the time to handle any issues or ensure things ran smoothly.
You will get so much more than just a building/location when booking here. We could not speak higher about our experience.
We highly recommend using The 1859 to any couple looking to plan their wedding in the Cincinnati area. The 1859 is a beautiful venue and Kate had great expertise in event planning.

The 1859 event venue was absolutely perfect for our rehearsal dinner. The size of the event space and areas for the caterer allowed for great service and no inconvenience to the guests. The island allowed for a carving station at one end, and a pasta station at the other, with all of the other side dishes in the middle – it was perfect! The perfect set up for food, bar and decorations made for a very elegant evening. The staff was extremely helpful, as well.

We had our wedding in October - everything about the 1859 from the moment we reached out to scheduling a tour to our wedding day was a complete breeze with the help of Kate and the staff at the 1859. The venue itself is gorgeous, and Kate did an amazing job at answering all of my questions, recommending vendors, etc. She thought and planned for things I didn't even think of and I was able to trust her entirely. Could not have done it without Kate and the amazing and kind staff. I am so happy I chose the 1859 for my venue. Everything turned out perfect and I could not have been happier on my wedding day.

We hosted my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner last Friday, and received so many compliments from our guests on The 1859. The room is beautiful, and everything turned out great. Their video screen, and microphone worked flawlessly - no tech issues at all. The use of the piano was so much fun. Tables looked amazing, not too crowded. We had a few extra flowers, and Kate decorated the buffet counter for us. The bar and buffet line set up works out really well. And we had no issues with parking. Also, our security deposit was returned within days. Thanks so much for the great memories. If we have another event of this size, we’ll be sure to contact Kate again.

We had toured a few venues to find the right place to have our wedding. As soon as we walked into The 1859 we knew instantly we wanted to hold our wedding there. It’s a beautiful venue inside and out! My husband mentioned how we didn’t even need to have that many decorations because the venue itself is already decorated so nicely and I couldn’t agree more! We loved the use of the courtyard area to hold the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Kate and her team are great to work with! Kate is great with communication. We also went through the cater she recommended, All That Ingredients. Leah was awesome! Her pricing was great and the food was amazing! My husband and I got compliments all night about how cute the venue was and how great the food was. I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding! I highly recommend The 1859 for any type of event.

From the moment we viewed The 1859, we knew it was the perfect venue for our daughter’s bridal shower. They helped recommend the caterer, rentals, and brought our “vision” to reality. Our guests said it was the most beautiful shower they had ever attended. The food from “All the Ingredients” received rave reviews, as well. My daughter is still talking about the attention to details that made her special day so exquisite. We are already considering how to host another event here in the future.

I had my bridal shower at the 1859 and it was a great experience! The space comfortably fit approximately 55-60 guests and is tastefully decorated. Kate was great to work with every step of the way and was very timely in her responses through email/texts/phone calls. The 1859 was the perfect venue for our wedding, it is such a beautiful, intimate, and unique space! After our ceremony, Kate and her team magically transformed the room into a formal setting for our reception, while our guests easily transitioned to the outdoor patio area to enjoy drinks and appetizers while waiting for the us to finish taking pictures inside. Kate was so patient and accommodating, worked very well with our vendors, and made sure our celebration was perfect. The 1859 is an AMAZING wedding venue. We are incredibly happy with our wedding experience. Kate (the owner) is very friendly, she communicates quickly, and she is an absolute pleasure to work with. The physical venue is absolutely beautiful. It includes a very nice area for both the bride and groom to get ready, a gorgeous background for the ceremony, and indoor and outdoor locations for the ceremony and pictures. Our wedding was in January, so we had an indoor ceremony, but we used the outdoor space for pictures. Overall, I could not be happier with Kate and the 1859. She really went above and beyond to make our wedding day special.

We got married on 9/24/22 at The 1859 and we absolutely loved it! We knew as soon as we walked in to tour the venue that this was the kind of place we were looking for to host our intimate wedding. We brought family pictures & decor to decorate the fireplace area and mantle, which made it special & personal to us- and made for great pictures! The bride & groom’s suites are really nice and had everything we needed. Our guests enjoyed a wonderful cocktail hour on the patio while the room was flipped for our reception.
Kate was amazing to work with from day 1, and on the day of the event she took care of so many things for us - even handing out the foam glow sticks we brought for the kids! Her & her family were so friendly and welcoming to my family and guests, it really made for a great experience customer service-wise. I can’t tell you how many guests came up to us to tell us how much they loved the venue & how unique it was. Everyone had a blast & I am so sad it’s over! I have nothing but wonderful memories of our wedding at The 1859 😁

Kate did such an amazing job helping me leading up to the day of the wedding! The day of the wedding she checked in throughout the day and through the evening. She helped make sure everything was where it was suppose to go. The wedding was originally suppose to be outside but due to rain we switched it inside which I am so glad we did because it was beautiful! We did a California style where guest sat at tables, the immediate family sat in chairs up front. It was perfect! The 1859 is beautiful and really impressed all my friends and family! Her husband shane was our officiant and also the preacher of the church I attend. Shane took so many pictures during my wedding and I am forever grateful since I didn’t have many photos for myself. They had a giant suite for the groomsmen and a beautiful room/lounge area for the bridesmaid which was so nice for getting ready for the ceremony.

Plenty of room to seat our 70 guests, as well as designated areas for food and drink. The owner is an amazing host, who made sure everything was just right. This is such a beautiful venue! It has high end finishes and extra groom and bride spaces, if needed! Kate and Shane were a delight to work with and were very flexible and helpful with the details of my son's rehearsal dinner. I wish I was a local so I could use this venue on a regular basis!

Great location, superb party space and the support of the
owners insured every detail was given top priority. We
celebrated with about 90 guest, a five piece band, bartender,
catered dinner and desserts. The out door patio was a huge
bonus to the night's events as we transitioned from dining to
dancing in the main space. Highly recommend this venue for
your event. Can't thank Kate, Shane and company for their
amazing support. Everyone agreed - best celebration EVER!
