The Accidental Moguls is a wedding band based in Independence, MO. We cater to all musical tastes with custom music for your event. Based in the Kansas City area, but travel throughout the Midwest and beyond to make your event one to remember! The band is lead by Todd Owen. He has been performing since age 5 and professionally for over 30 years. We truly strive to make your special day one to never forget. We provide ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception music.

From the start, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely excited to be part of our big day. They helped us curate the perfect setlist, adapted to the vibe of the crowd seamlessly, and brought such infectious energy that even guests who "never dance" couldn’t resist.
But the real magic? They helped us coordinate two unforgettable surprises: a surprise appearance by KC Wolf (yes, the Kansas City Chiefs mascot!), and—believe it or not—a Taco Bell toss from the stage during the reception! Our guests were floored, laughing, cheering, and grabbing burritos like it was a concert finale. It was pure joy and so uniquely us, and The Accidental Moguls embraced every second of it.
