The Admiral Room at the Marin

comprehensive, and their execution and expertise on the day of allowed us to truly relax and be present the entire day. The room is beautiful, the food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the entire team is flexible and accommodating. The team truly goes above and beyond - we had the most amazing day and are SO grateful we chose to have our wedding here!

he venue is inside  every detail is elegant, timeless, and breathtaking. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything looked all night long. The food was AMAZING. People are still reaching out to us talking about how incredible everything tasted. The staff was professional, organized, attentive, and helped make the entire night flow so smoothly. Honestly, this was hands down the best wedding I’ve ever been to and not just because it was ours 😂 The energy, the atmosphere, the beauty of the venue… everything came together perfectly and made it the most fun, unforgettable night of our lives. If you are considering having your wedding at the Admiral Room, DO IT. It was worth every single penny and we would choose them all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams 🤍

y were an absolute joy to work with. We planned our entire wedding remotely and they made it a seamless process. We couldn't tour the venue in person, so Cyndi set up a FaceTime appointment. We fell in love with the space and knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The food was amazing and they were unbelievably accommodating to our requests. We can't thank the Admiral Room team enough for the best day of our lives!!

goes above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly how you want. Truly the most talented group of people we’ve ever met - they LOVE what they do and it shows. The communication, the food, the service, everything was incredible. They also worked so seamlessly with all of the other vendors we had! We wish we could relive our day over and over and we owe all of that to the team at the Admiral Room. Not to mention, the venue itself is just STUNNING! We are so thankful for them & everything they did to make our day so perfect

mes “crazy” ideas come to life — and somehow made the entire process feel effortless. They genuinely cared about making our wedding feel like our dream, not a cookie-cutter event. The food was absolutely impeccable. We were able to create a fully custom menu — from appetizers to entrées to desserts — and every bite was memorable. Our guests are still talking about it. Every grand décor vision I had was executed beautifully, with the team handling all setup seamlessly and thoughtfully. The day flowed perfectly, we never had to worry about a thing, and everything ran so smoothly. Thanks to The Admiral Room, our wedding was truly the best day ever. If you’re looking for a venue that listens, cares deeply, and brings your vision to life in ways you didn’t even realize were possible, this is it.

that came naturally to them and it showed!! The entire staff knows how to put on an event! They are flexible and yet, they guide you- ultimately they want the day to be perfect and their service, food and space deliver! You will NOT be disappointed!! There are no hidden costs and so many options to make your day exactly how you envision it! Great location in downtown Buffalo!! Highly recommend this venue and the people who make it so wonderful!

ay and made the day run so smoothly! They answered all our silly questions throughout the process and were always willing to help out in any way possible! The Admiral Room speaks for itself, so grand and elegant! All of our guest were amazed with the food and experience, especially the attentiveness of the staff! We had our wedding there on a Friday and it ended up being the best day! We were able to celebrate the whole weekend! AND the amazing thing is, because it was on a Friday we were able to rehearse on Thursday and see it mostly set up the night before (added bonus). My Husband is originally from Bosnia and had some cultural aspects that we wanted to add to our wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. The whole staff at The Admiral Room made our wedding dreams come true and I cannot give them enough praise! Makes me and my husband want to get married again just to have another party there!

t have to worry about a thing. The food and drinks were superb and the thoughtfulness/attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Genuinely, we cannot think of one thing we’d change.

ne we interacted with was extremely professional, and personable. Our first look at the venue was breathtaking, while the overall budget was more than we had anticipated - it was absolutely worth every dollar. The entrees and appetizers we sampled at our tasting were lovely, and tasted exactly the same on our wedding day. The wedding coordinators (Cyndi, Kate + Josh) were amazing to work with, they made our wants top priority and our on-site ceremony and reception were beautiful with no hiccups. The serving staff and bartenders were extremely attentive and made sure everybody ate and drank well. We would highly recommend against booking with the affiliated hotel (Embassy Suites by Hilton, 200 Delaware Ave.). The hotel gave us issues at every possible moment. From not allowing us to book a block of rooms, trying to DOUBLE the rate for the rooms a week before the wedding, not allowing us to check-in to our room until 4:00pm when our ceremony started at 4:30pm, and ultimately cancelling the courtesy shuttle due to us "not checking in soon enough", this hotel and it's staff are horrid. Our wedding party was split between three floors, and while they "upgraded" my wife and I to a king suite - it was directly under construction that we were not informed of, that began at 6am.

d chandeliers, is an exceptional team of professionals who clearly love what they do – and they do it really, really well. Our first meeting with Cyndi was a pleasure and she immediately helped link us with a coordinator to help us plan every detail of our day. Chef Tommy curated a perfect menu and accommodated every dietary accommodation that was requested. In the weeks leading up to our day, Josh and Kate were in touch and mindful of every detail we couldn’t imagine. The day of our wedding, the entire team was fantastic; every person on staff was excited, attentive and friendly. Dinner and bar service for nearly 300 guests was a breeze. Hands down, the team at The Admiral Room is simply the best.

about how they helped us from start to finish the whole day and helped us plan every little detail along the way. I definitely recommend having your wedding here, they won’t disappoint! The venue is beautiful and the food was incredible, we got all great compliments! Thank you guys again for everything! -Gianna and Kris

Kate, and Cyndi were absolutely incredible—so organized, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the whole process and on the big day. The food was outstanding (as always!), and we still have guests telling us how much they loved it. Stacey, the bartender, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had what they needed all night long. They even set up our dessert display, and it was pure perfection—exactly how I envisioned it. We honestly can’t say enough good things about this venue and the amazing people who work here. If you’re considering The Admiral Room for your wedding or event, do it! You will not be disappointed.

e seen pictures but nothing truly prepares you for just how amazing it is in person. On top of how absolutely stunning the venue is their staff is FANTASTIC!!! ect! Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Everything was perfect. Thank you.

ing venue space that it is, the staff is truly what makes The Admiral Room the best place to have your wedding. The entire wedding planning process Kate, Josh and Cyndi were INCREDIBLE! I cannot say enough good things about them and how helpful they were all the way up to wedding day. They answered every email, text and phone call leading up to the day and they made the planning so easy and stress free. The day of the wedding they were so attentive to not only my husband and I but our families as well. They checked on us throughout the entire day and night to make sure it was all perfect. One of the reasons we went with The Admiral Room is for their tasteful Christmas decor that they already have the room decorated with. I had asked Kate if it was okay to leave some of our own decor with her to put up around the room to put it wherever it would look nice and without hesitation she said she would and walking into the room to see how they decorated it with it all was AMAZING. My dream Christmas wedding had come to life! The bar tenders, the food, the orderly running of everything, it was all done so well and they truly made our day perfect. I cannot imagine going with any other place for our wedding. We will always recommend the admiral room to anyone and everyone.

chitecture, the food, and the whole aesthetics and smooth working wheel they have going on there. Communications were prompt and friendly from Kate, Cyndi and Josh and they were all amazing to work with. They had all the answers to any questions we had, and had all the additional bases covered as well. They accommodated us in anyway that we needed, and were extremely professional. Many of our guests said everything ran so smooth and it was the most beautiful and elegant wedding they had ever been to. The food was phenomenal as well. Every little thing from planning, to leading up to the day, to helping us in areas we needed, was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception. Thank you to the staff at The Admiral Room!

olutely exceeded all expectations and we couldn't be happier with our choice :) Not only was the natural beauty of the venue is absolutely breathtaking, the team - Josh and Kate specifically - were nothing short of phenomenal. From the initial tour to the final send-off, their professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. They were not just vendors, but true partners in making our day extraordinary. Their expertise and experience were evident in every aspect of the planning process, and they worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. They worked with us to make all our small details come to life. We wanted specific specialty drinks, a light show during certain songs, and a very quick sit down dinner. They executed all this flawlessly and we had several guests rave that it was the most organized, efficient and delicious dinner service they had ever had. With 310 guests this was no small feat, but Josh, Kate and the team made it happen. The team at the Admiral Room truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. They anticipated our needs, handled every detail with care, and created an atmosphere of pure magic. We are forever grateful for their dedication and hard work. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a truly magical wedding experience.

y were kind, funny, and took all of our worries off our hands. They even provided us with a little alone time to take everything in while we waited to be introduced on the balcony. The day goes by in such a blur, but having those 20 minutes alone to take everything in together, and enjoy some the of the delicious apps and champagne, it meant the world to us. We did not have a single complaint from our 200+ guests. Everyone was especially blown away by the food — OUTSTANDING. Even the vegetarian option was hearty and delicious. Every is still talking about the incredible food 5 months later! And the pictures— wow every photo came out so stunning because the venue is unparalleled in elegance. I would give The Admiral Room a full 10/10 and all of the stars in the world. Truly the greatest venue in Buffalo by far.

ate were great to work with, but it quickly went downhill the week and day OF my wedding. Wednesday, Josh and Kate contacted me about the winter storm, asking if we were still on. I told them we (family and friends included) were staying up in Buffalo Thursday-Sunday to beat the storm. We had around 60-80 people in hotels. They had promised me, if we were still a go, they would do everything they could to make my wedding happen, if it even included having sleeping bags there. after, Wednesday we did not hear from them. ALL of my other vendors were in contact with me Friday AND Saturday asking if it was on and what they could do to help me. BESIDES The Admiral Room. The day OF my wedding WE had to reach out to them at 10:30am. We did not receive a final answer from them that they were cancelling until 11am. 4 hours before I got married. Let that sink in. The lack of communication and respect to my husband, family, and friends was horrible. ALL of my other vendors came through for me on my wedding day besides The Admiral Room. Also- the driving ban was lifted early in the afternoon that day and all of my guests were from the northtowns. Thankfully we were able to get a refund.

n it having gone any other way looking back. So spirit filled, so fun- the perfect blend of classic meets modern- stunning 🤩 For reference sake, I did not have a wedding planner- I had help extending from my mom, MOH, bridesmaids, to my wedding day photographer Lydia Maybee and of course- staff at the Admiral Room played a major role. What initially drew me, specifically, to this space were the pictures I came across online (I live out of state). Historic, fully renovated bank from early 1900s 🏦, marble everywhere, sky scraping ceilings and floor to ceiling windows for natural light? …In the heart of downtown Buffalo, NY with every 🏨 within walking distance for OOT guests- #wheredoisign The team at the Admiral Room from Josh to Katie, Cyndi to Cookie + catering- they delivered on every detail. They were incredibly helpful and communicative despite being so unfathomably busy still dealing with 2020’s aftermath. I felt so supported. They were all pros. In planning, things come up- it can be a challenge. I had trouble finding a florist. My mom was so worried- it was the one thing we didn’t tackle early on. One breath of concern to the Admiral Room, and Kate had a florist on the phone 📞 immediately who, by the grace of God, had our wedding date available. Brant Jones 🌸 FTW- he is a world renowned florist/creative who purposefully flies under the radar and he’s local. The food was amazing from appetizers to entrees. We were able to bring in wine 🍷 of our choice (Duckhorn Cab always) for our guests’ tables. We brought late night 🍕 in from our favorite local pizzeria that Josh helped coordinate. The visual effects that Josh (fireworks, Bills 🦬 logo) projected on to the ceiling during the reception were game changing 🥳 so elevating! Our guests were stunned. Also, live band- all the way- Cory Klawon + team, y’all still got it 💯🤍 and the sound was spot on!! For anyone concerned about the open space + marble- be not afraid!!! The sound system in place made it perfect for speeches- not one complaint from my side and that’s saying something Baha. And then the band sounded perfect 🎵 My only regret is not doing the s’mores 🔥 display that Admiral Room offers!! I would have loved that additional option to our dessert 🎂 🍨 🍭 table. I could go on, I’ll stop- It was everything 💯 highly recommend

osh and Kate! Highly recommend

incredible, staff is amazing, and there is so many customizable options for each specific couple. Best choice for our wedding- we are so happy!

best around. Every event runs like a well oiled machine, they are so knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand to make sure your event goes off without a hitch. I would recommend them to anyone time and time again!

most perfect day from ensuring the event ran smoothly to giving my 95 year old grandma spaghetti with sugar as it is her favorite food. All of our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food, services, and professionalism of all of the staff. Our wedding day was the most perfect day and we can not thank the admiral room enough. Do not hesitate to book with them- it will be the best day of your life! We love you- Jen & Steve

e onsite team is a dream to work with. They are so response and go out of their way to make couples wedding day perfection. One of my absolute favorite venues in Buffalo.

ng, Josh, Kate, and I were in constant communication regarding all of the details for the day. As a wedding planner, the beginning of the wedding day consists of making sure tables and details are set up according to the design plan, I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up and the majority of the details were set up by the venue staff. Throughout the day, Kate and Josh were readily available to make sure every detail went seamlessly. I look forward to working with the Admiral Room in the future to create beautiful events for my clients.

ndi work hard to make your day perfect — my only negative would be they’re a little hard to get a hold of in the months leading up to the wedding so a wedding planner was very helpful.

ike, and all the staff were amazing! Despite wedding planning during the times of COVID, the staff at the Admiral Room made the process stress-free for us and the attention and care for making our vision come to life was astounding. The venue itself is breathtaking...we are still in awe looking back at our photos and reminiscing on the day. The food was also amazing - our guests are still talking about the event. 10/10 would recommend the Admiral Room!!!

pictures are out of this world. Guests could not stop talking about the food throughout the night and our bar package was extremely customizable we were able to accommodate the tastes of all sides of our families. We utilized the bridal suite and the room on the main floor for a desert display and both were well worth it. It has been six months since our wedding and I am still hearing about the amazing job the admiral room staff did with our deserts (cake slices, Italian cookies, canolis) that they allowed us to bring in from an outside vendor.

d by most of our guests who complimented my husband and I on how smoothly our wedding day went. The food was also incredible! When my husband and I tested positive for Covid less than 24 hours from our wedding day, The Admiral Room bent over backwards to to accommodate us when we had to postpone. We could not have asked for a better experience. The Admiral Room made our day perfect!

top from day 1 to give my husband and I the most perfect day. The food was amazing, the guests all had a blast!! We also had to move our original date because of COVID and they could not have made the process any easier on us. 10/10 would recommend the Admiral Room!!!!

available when we had questions, and didn’t miss a DETAIL the day of our wedding. 10/10 would recommend this venue for a wedding or any large event.

ey couldn't believe how beautiful it was. As a couple, what made this venue even more special to us was the amazing team at the Admiral Room. Josh, Cyndi, Chef Mike and the entire staff were incredible to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Everything on the menu was spectacular and the service at the event was unbelievable. Working with Josh on every detail was one of the highlights of our experience. He demonstrated a genuine interest in making our day perfect and he succeeded. We fell in love with the Admiral Room on our first visit but working with the exceptional staff made us even happier we chose this venue for our wedding. If you want a wedding at a beautiful venue with top tier staff and outstanding food – book the Admiral Room and don’t look back!

responded to all of our emails in a timely manner. We were so grateful for that!! Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! At our last wedding meeting, we dropped off our decor and gave the team an idea of how we wanted the venue set-up. The team at the Admiral Room went above and beyond in the set-up! We asked that a small side room in the venue be set up as a dessert room. When Josh showed us the finished dessert room I cried in his arms. You can tell the team loves their jobs and go above and beyond to create every couples dream wedding. The service from the bartenders and wait staff is unlike anything I have ever seen. The food was amazing. I received so many compliments from guests. The chef is also open to customizing a personalized menu for you and your guests. Bang Bang shrimp was not on the cocktail menu, but chef Mike made it happen for us and it was delicious! One of my favorite moments of the night was right before we were introduced off of the balcony. Cyndi grabbed us right before the end of cocktail hour. She had a drink in each hand for the both of us and took us to the suite. When we arrived to the suite, we saw that Cyndi had set aside appetizers for us. That meant so much to us! Your wedding day can get so busy. However, in that moment we were able to take a step back, cheers our drinks, enjoy our apps, and view all of our loved ones in one place without them even knowing. It was such a special, intimate moment. It really kicked off the rest of the night!! Our wedding was perfect and we couldn't thank Josh, Cyndi, and team enough!!
