Triston, the lead singer and band lead, is incredibly professional, organized and thorough. While you will be hiring the band ultimately for their musicianship, Triston’s responsiveness and communication is extremely important in the overall planning process. Triston announced her good news that she was pregnant shortly after we hired the band. She let us know she (and most likely her husband Jeff, the lead guitarist) would not be able to perform or attend my daughter’s wedding reception as she would be having her baby right around that time. Triston assured us the band would not skip a beat, and she was right. She immediately brought in Alena (the lead singer and Emcee for my daughter’s wedding) so that we were all comfortable. Alena and the band were outstanding! They are great musicians and singers and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. They all had smiles on their faces the entire time they were performing. They bring an entire show. They are true performers – choreographed dancers, costume changes and fun props. I can’t believe how much fun grown adults had with blow-up guitars 😊. The band played an encore because of all the guests’ applause and then at my request, one last song of “We Are Family” without any hesitation. The guests at our wedding danced non-stop and everyone commented on how great the band was and the high energy they brought to the wedding. Not only did they deliver musically, but they also went above and beyond by offering to matching their outfits to our event theme. The band was also really easy to work with throughout our planning process, and communications were always very clear on what we could expect from them, and what they needed from us/the venue as well. Of note: our venue had never worked with them before but was so impressed by their professionalism and quality of performance that they expressed interest in adding them to their preferred vendor list and even booking them for their own events! So when I say you are getting the best wedding band available when you book the Afterparty Band, it really is true!

My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. They are a wonderful band for any kind of event, large or small, that you want your guests dancing all night with happy hearts.

the wedding entertainment we dreamed of having for our special day. From day one Tristin, worked with us and provided us with the smoothest planning process. Our wedding was a destination wedding and several accommodations had to be made, but Tristin made the process simple and easy. We wanted a band that would be interactive, engaging, and entertaining for a night to remember. This bands provides all that and more. They have several different costume changes, great sound and entertaining engagement throughout the night. They have choreographed songs and get into the crowd engaging with all the guests. They kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night begging for an encore as they ended. Our guests were even chanting “best band ever”. To this day the band is something guests have highlighted from our wedding when they speak of memories from it. I cannot express how amazing they were to work with. Tristin makes sure to take any planning and stress completely off your plate. Overall, the band is truly incredible and will provide the best level of entertainment you will want from a live band at your wedding. They have a great song list and amazing mashups they perform. We are so incredibly happy we chose them for our special day and can’t thank them enough for providing such incredible memories for us and our guests.

The musical numbers blend together seamlessly and they have fun costumes to go along with everything. This definitely gets the audience energized! And on the back-end, they are delightful to work with. They were able to learn a custom entrance song from our favorite band, and they nailed it — definitely a highlight of the night. It’s no wonder that our guests left our wedding saying it was the best wedding band they had ever seen.

Living in Chicago and planning a destination wedding was not easy, especially when trying to describe the venue’s layout, loading and unloading, parking, etc.; Tristin made us feel so much more at ease, and was able to provide new insight for our venue space. The Afterparty band’s performance style is playful, interactive, and HIGH ENERGY! From start to finish, the band had such a commanding stage presence; incredible vocals, top-notch musicians, dancing, and costumes… The Afterparty band was PERFECTION!! The band has such a versatile selection of songs and mashups in their library, which made playlisting very easy and so much fun! The mashups are a unique feature that instantly drew us to The Afterparty band; my favorite part of the entire performance, without hesitation, was the Michael Jackson mashup!! All of our guests could not stop raving about how AMAZINGLY TALENTED The Afterparty band was- the night of our wedding, day after, still today; truly nothing but praise! The Afterparty band learned three new songs for our reception, all in which were perfected and performed like they have known the songs forever. For my father-daughter dance, the song required a ukulele player; Tristin coordinated with one of our family friends that knew the ukulele, and they practiced and perfected the song prior to our wedding day. This is such a special memory for my dad and I, and we will never ever forget all that they did for us! All of the guests were in awe at the performance of this special song. Also, Tristin allowed us to prepare our own playlist for when the band took a short break, which was maybe all of four songs… the band played for us all night long and kept the ENERGY from beginning to end!!! Additionally, throughout our wedding reception, the band went out of their way to make announcements regarding our late night food stations, the arrival of our cigar roller, and also note that the Anniversary Dance was my parent’s first dance song at their wedding. Another highlight of our wedding reception. Aside of their magnificent talent, Tristin, Jeff and the musicians are truly fantastic people. B was the wedding GOAT! We wanted a band that kept the party vibe going all night long - we wanted EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night. And damn, they delivered! The APB played 2 LONG sets and blew everyone away with their high energy dancing, props, and incredible voices. We had guests ages 15-95 and EVERYONE was dancing, singing and laughing the night away. The combination of danceable oldies with some top 40 flare was on point and far exceeded our expectations. Working with the APB was a breeze thanks to their professionalism, seamless processes, and kindness. I will be recommending them to all future friends planning weddings and will certainly be hiring them for future parties (hello 35th birthday party!!) Literally the best weekend of our lives! They learned multiple songs for us that sounded so, SO amazing. They cater the whole experience to what you want. They actually came to our rescue the day before our wedding. We had to unexpectedly move our ceremony outside and they let us use their extra PA system and their sound person stuck around the whole ceremony. We were so worried about the acoustics outside, but everything sounded perfect. I can't even begin to explain how amazing they were performing at our wedding. The Afterparty band is not just a band, it's a whole performance. Our guests were completely blown away. To this day, the one thing people keep asking us is "Who was that band??? They were incredible!" I have a friend getting married in Hawaii next year and she came up to me asking how she can fly the Afterparty to Hawaii for her wedding. Another highlight from our wedding was when our friend requested the song "Shout." We had not requested this song in advance and the Afterparty Band wasn't prepared to play it. They ended up playing it and sounded amazing and it was such a special experience for everyone. From start to finish, working with the Afterparty band is all around amazing. Without hesitation, hire them for your wedding or party before they get so famous their schedule will be fully booked!!!!

they are great performers! Any guests who didn't/couldn't dance really enjoyed just watching. Also, Tristen is really professional and easy to work with ahead of time. We had many age groups at the party, and young and old alike enjoyed a great evening of music and dancing – keeping the dance floor packed all night long. A little inclement weather affecting our outdoor event did not phase the band in the least, and they kept the party going and the guests delighted. Got there early and caused no fuss or interruption with any of the other setup stuff we had going on. I really appreciated that. Tristin and Jeff are very friendly and we enjoyed getting to work with them. Leading up to the party, the Afterparty Band was very responsive and helpful in trying to help me plan for the event and how the music would fit in best. ( I worked mostly with Tristin) It was easy to make the deposit, sign and return the contract. Their follow-through with regards to our venue's insurance requirement was greatly appreciated. They kept in touch ( from when we booked to the actual party) and were always prompt in responding to any questions I had. I hope to engage The Afterparty band for future events!

They also learned two Spanish-language songs (Vivir Mi Vida and Suavemente) for our wedding and they did an incredible job! One friend told me the next day that the music flowed one right after the after like a DJ - which is LITERALLY the band's tagline. So you know right then and there that they know what they're doing. From a planning standpoint, Tristin was one of the most responsive vendors we worked with during our planning process and showed great attention to detail when it came to reviewing our song lists to identify which were in their repertoire vs. not. She was also a great MC during the wedding speeches at dinner and during the Shoe Game (a highly underrated wedding activity in my view!)
