ith a cocktail hour in between on a patio (outside, different location than the ceremony).
Tim handled the music for all of it. He had everything set up so the transition between each was flawless. I had two friends serve as "MC"s for the reception, and he had microphones to accommodate them.
Tim and I had a call and discussed the general type of music I wanted for the cocktail, the songs for the important events (processional, recessional, introductions, cake-cutting, etc.), and then I gave him a list of songs I wanted for the reception, just as an example of the types of songs we were thinking of. My guests (all ages) had a blast!

Michael stayed in touch and was kind during the planning and after the try and fix my disappointment but the day of was a disaster. I had changed the song...
I wanted to walk down the isle to and the DJ "forgot" so I didn't even know to walk down the isle until half way through the song. The officiant's microphone kept messing up and making the loud screech. My song to walk back down the isle... NEVER PLAYED. WTF. I asked for radio edits and so the DJ played "In da club" by 50 cent. Look it up.. even edited my aunt left. He played all the line dance songs in a row. The DJ was clueless to his crowd. I had to ask to play mellow music during dinner. The music kept cutting in and out all night. The karaoke that I paid 100$ extra for was cutting in and out. I was so embarrassed. SO embarrassed. The music sets the mood for the whole reception and it was ruined.

eduled. I loved the great communication with the owner Michael and he made sure everything was set for the day and was flexible with last minute changes. He was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I gave them a 4 star rating due to problems we encountered with our DJ's expectations but Michael did a great job addressing our concerns quickly afterwards.

ght. He even played past his contracted time. My only critique was that he announced me and my husband into our reception with my maiden name not my husband's last name. Since he had met with us multiple times before he should have known my husband's last name, I thought it was funny but my husband did not. There was also confusion about the rest of the wedding party's names which was a little frustrating. Altogether a fun time though.

d not make announcements that we asked him to make. He pulled me away from my guests to ask for a check (like I had one in my wedding dress!). And, the kicker, we danced our dance, then we asked for 'Unforgettable' to be played - the dance floor filled to capacity with couples dancing - it was magical. When that was over, I expected that he would play another slow song as so many were truly enjoying dancing - did he? NO! He play a rock & roll song, and I have never seen the dance floor empty so quickly. Never again did he play the solw music that we wanted (and asked for!!!). If it was possible for a DJ to ruin a wedding, he would be the one to do it.
