Congratulations on your engagement! We hope that this information will be helpful to you as you inquire about having your ceremony in the Alice Millar or Jeanne Vail Chapel.The seating capacity of Millar Chapel is approximately 700. Most weddings in Millar have one to two hundred guests, though there is no minimum requirement. Vail Chapel seats approximately 125.The Chapel Coordinator will be present at the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding to provide for your needs and those of your family and guests. The coordinator's role is to welcome you as an honored guest in our chapel and to ensure that your ceremony runs smoothly.

We booked the Alice Millar Chapel to host our wedding ceremony and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It is absolutely breathtaking when you walk into the chapel--- pictures don't do it justice. The staff is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions you have. I would suggest booking as far in advance if you have a specific time that you want- we booked about a year out and still had to back up our timeline but it was totally worth it. Book Alice Millar Chapel- you won't regret it!

I love Alice Millar Chapel. So thankful to have been able to book this majestic venue! Jenny was great in helping answer my questions throughout the year, and she worked with our coordinator during the rehearsal to make it run quickly and smoothly. The organist was professional, and our guests loved the music he played. This is a breathtaking venue, and it was an honor to be able to have our wedding ceremony here.

This is a stunning venue. The wedding coordinator was fabulous from start to finish. She was very helpful, her response time was extremely fast, and my questions were answered throughly and honestly. My wedding day was smooth and stress free thanks to the help of the wonderful staff. I hardly needed any added decoration because this chapel is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this space to everyone!

Stunning stained glass, non-denominational venue. You can bring your own minister or have one grim the chapel provided. Musician provided with venue rental. Bride or groom must be Northwestern alumnus.

We had our ceremony here- the staff was really flexible and we had no problems. GORGEOUS stained glass created an amazing atmosphere. we got great compliments!

Great organist! Fantastic value and beautiful sound. (Only catch is that the groom or bride must be affiliated with Northwestern to use the chapel.)

My daughter had picked this church because it's amazingly pretty. The church went under total renovation in the middle of summer (entirely covered with tarp and scaffolding) and only 1 month before were we formally informed of the situation. Fortunately we had found out before and proceeded in finding another venue.

We had a lot of trouble booking Alice Millar. Their stated polices say that they will not book the chapel more than one year in advance, and we confirmed this in person and over the phone. However, when it came time to book our date, exactly one year from our wedding date, another couple had already been booked at the time we wanted in violation of the stated policies posted online! The secretary offered no explanation and we were very, very annoyed with her. Ultimately, we put up with the bad service we received at Alice Millar because the location is so unique and beautiful. Reverend Stevens, the university chaplain, was wonderful, and we had no problems with the location the day of. However, it was very frustrating to book the location in the first place.
