I honestly couldn't have ask for a better venue or better people. Sue was amazing through the whole planning process, super relaxed, nice and fun. During the wedding the staff was ...
super helpful and amazing. The venue was beautiful and clean and the food was amazing. Everything was perfect and a lot of it was thanks to the venue and team! Outstanding!
The entire staff is both accommodating and welcoming. Sue is great, and a lot of fun. David is truly a gem of a human. The man even bustled my dress for me. The most wonderful plac...
e. Made my dream a reality, truly.
SNPJ ended up being the perfect place for our wedding. Sue was great to work with and always answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We were supposed to have our ceremony ...
outside, but it ended up being too cold, so they quickly set up the Alpine Room so we could have the ceremony indoors. The food was amazing (especially all of the Polish food), and the service all night was great. You definitely get your money's worth, and it's really one of the most reasonably priced venues in the area.
This place is a joke. Way over priced for food that's just ok and nothing special. The venue changed the time of our wedding 2 weeks before our wedding and some of our guest didn't...
make it. They shorted us tables for the guest and tried charging us more to add a couple more tables that should of been there to begin with. They kept changing the time frame later and later for our decorator to come in to do her thing. They kept changing the time frame later and later for the bride and brides maids to get ready for the wedding! The bartenders tried ripping off some off the guests when they were trying to tip the bartenders. That's just the ones that actually caught them and not the ones that didn't because they were a little drunk. The cabins were dirty, especially the bride and groom's cabin. It had cob webs all over the bed and dead bugs everywhere. And the fridge had something nasty in it left over from prior guest. NEVER AGAIN
Everything was going wonderful and perfect and less than an hour into our reception the electricity went out, we did not let it ruin our day. However, SNPJ (The Alpine Room) said t...
here was nothing they could do for us since it is not their fault? We had no lighting in the bathrooms except for candles and our guests were eating in almost pitch black (very few back-up lights). Luckily, the DJ was able to keep power in one speaker. Guests complained that it got too hot and they did not want to dance because of that.
Sue was such an easy going person to work with they were so accommodating. David was amazing as well during the reception, he made everything so easy by coordinating with my dj and...
photographer. I was able to enjoy my day. And our food was amazing!!
I fell in love with the alpine room because it was really pretty & a convenient location for our guests. Our food was good but not great & we had to pay full price for anyone that ...
was not seated in a high chair & we were unaware that they did not have a child's menu price. They also were very unwelcoming to our guests & did not open the gates till the reception started, so those who showed up early were locked out.
I recently had my wedding reception at the Alpine Room at the SNPJ. Everything was gorgeous. The food was great. I had so many compliments on the reception. Everything was included...
(cake cutting, a coordinator) with the per plate price. The outside was beautiful for pictures. But the dance floor was my selling point on the Alpine Room. It's huge. We had a 150 guest wedding, and at one point almost every single person was on the dance floor for a line dance and we had so much room. Check it out!
If you are having your reception at the SNPJ Alpine Room and are considering an outdoor ceremony, consider the Pavilion at the Recreation Center. You can decorate it beautifully, y...
ou're covered if it rains, and your guests have a very short walk to your reception!
Everything is included in your package for one price. Food, Full bar, cake cutting, standard linens, security, tax & gratuity. Very nice place. Good food
We had a large wedding here, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our guests were able to rent out cabins on the premises, and everything was just great. Highly reccommended.
The food was wonderful and the caterer was very accomodating. The space was great for the amount of guests that we had.;They charge a fee for the cookie table set up and updating....
My guests asked for more cookies to be added to the table and they were ignored. A lot of time and effort went into making cookies for the guest and in Western PA the cookies are a big part of the reception.
We needed a very large space for our reception since we had a large wedding. This was perfect it was large enough and was still pretty. At the time I got married they were working ...
with just one caterer, it was PJ's and they did a fantastic job. We still get compliments on how good the food was.
The hall is beautiful!!!! It is the best looking place in the New Castle Area. The workers there are great! The Nicest people ever to work with! Really made sure I (as the bride) g...
