The Amber Studio

Jay and Tamika were amazing! We couldn't have asked for better photographers to capture our wedding day. They were so attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, the coordinator we hired didn't keep our event running smoothly, but Tamika stepped in bringing us water, checking in, gathering important people, etc. At the end of the event my aunt (the family photographer), cousins and sisters raved about how professional they were. They dressed nicely and demonstrated that they were prepared. They were punctual and throughout the planning process made our lives easy. We felt confident after speaking to Amber, Tamika and Jay during our planning calls, because they asked the best questions so they could understand our event and what was important to us. And we feel they captured the moments that were most important to us. They brought such good energy to our event and we're incredibly grateful that they were able to be a part of our special day. They flew from Texas all the way to Wisconsin. They will definitely feel like friends by the end of the event. Photographers are such an essential part of special events because they capture moments you don't think of or don't even see. As an interracial couple we needed a team who could capture our different complexions with no problem. We were also looking for photographers with a photojournalistic style who could capture the emotion of the event and they did! We enjoyed reliving the day from different perspectives through our photos. And the photo quality is amazing! We're just thrilled.

Amber was AMAZING!!! Photography is maybe the most important part of any wedding, and not only did she capture our day perfectly, but she was kind and helpful every step of the way. She was encouraging at every step and a calming presence the day of. We got so many photos and they're all BEAUTIFUL. My wife(!) and I are beyond grateful to Amber for all her wonderful work. Looking through all the photos she provided brought back so many memories of our day, and we know they'll continue to do so for years to come.

Amber was amazing from beginning to end. We never doubted her or feared that she wouldn’t show up or be fully present. She was great at thinking of things you don’t/can’t on your wedding day & has a way of somehow being everywhere all at once. It’s been over a year and I’m still reviewing my images frequently & gawking! You won’t regret going with Amber!

Hiring Amber for our engagement session and wedding celebration was a no brainer. Our planner had a host of photographers lined up for us to review. When Ambers portfolio came up we didn’t need to see the rest. Her photos were beautiful, vibrant and so creative. Her personality at our first meeting was reassuring that we had made the right decision. More than that Amber is understanding and goes out of her way to ensure her clients are happy. We had to postpone our 2020 celebration and Amber came to our house to take photos of our backyard ceremony to ensure that we had photos of our actual wedding day. When we got our photos back from our 2021 reception, I could remember each piece of the night because her photos were so detailed and special. They were phenomenal and worth every penny! Whenever I’m feeling down I look at my wedding photos and my day is turned around so quickly. Don’t waste anymore time looking for a photographer. Hire Amber and don’t worry about anything when it comes to your wedding. She will not disappoint and definitely understands the assignment!
