Yvette was very easy to work with and Ambrosia was very efficient and easy coordinate with for the wedding. The cake we received was beautiful but the filling was slightly different than what we ordered. The filling we originally tasted and ordered was the chocolate buttercream and we received a chocolate buttercream filling but it had nuts in it (or something crunchy to that effect). We tried to avoid any nuts in our foods for our guests with allergies.

They provided the bride and groom cakes at my daughters wedding and they were absolutely amazing! Multiple flavors in her tiered cake and an awesome grooms cake as well! You can’t go wrong with Ambrosia!

Ambrosia Bakery was so easy to work with! I called and emailed other bakers for months with little to no response or absolutely outrageous quotes. Walked into Ambrosia and within 30 minutes I was booked with them and had an AMAZING price quote. Emailed her a picture of the cake I wanted and they made it even more beautiful than I could imagine! All my layers were different flavors and they delivered to my venue worry free! They also did our grooms cake and put all the toppers on so perfectly! Extremely easy to talk to and they respond to their emails lightning fast! I loved working with ambrosia and would recommend them to all brides looking for wedding/grooms cakes.

Ambrosia was my easiest vendor to work with! Yvette was very professional and got back to me quickly with any questions I had. We weren’t sure the direction we wanted to go with our groom’s cake so we were interested to see how it would turn out. When we went to cut our cake we were amazed at how awesome both cakes looked and a few guest raved good the red velvet layer was. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I am very happy with the cake we chose from Ambrosia Bakery! It was perfectly decorated, tasted amazing, and fit in our budget. the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is becuase of Covid 19, they do not offer in person consultations and it was difficult to reach them at times.

Ambrosia did an amazing job on our wedding cake. The process was so easy. They had several flavors and fillings to choose from too. I've been going to this bakery since I was a little girl. I love their maple pecan danishes. So, it meant a lot of me to have ambrosia bake the cake for our wedding. Not only was the cake delicious, the design on the outside was beautiful and elegant! Ambrosia really knows what they are doing. Highly recommend! Book them as early as you can because we booked them about 14 months out and it seemed like I lucked out on having a day they were available.

Loved our cake! We had a nice meeting with the owner, she helped us pick the perfect cake for us. Day of, the arrived right when they said they would, set up the cake, and it looked great. Definitely going to us them in the future for any parties or birthdays we need cake for!

They were the EASIEST vendor to work with. Every person I talked to whether in the bridal department or just behind the counter was so helpful! They helped me come up with a great idea for a surprise groom's cake and made it so easy! They were in constant communication with me but not overwhelming. I loved working with them! Their cakes are so delicious and have the best decorations in my opinion. Very clean looking and not dated like other bakeries in the area. That's why they have the best reputation!

Both our wedding cake and our groom's cake turned out wonderful and tasted really good (and I'm not a cake person)! Our groom's cake was in the shape of the old LSU tiger's head, and they made sure the cake turned out just like the picture. They were also really easy to work with and made sure the entire process went very smoothly with little stress (and reminded be about little details I forgot, like bringing in the cake topper). We were living out of town for the entire wedding planning process, but Yvette made sure that we were able to sample the cakes on the one day we were available even though no one was available at the store that day. Instead, she had all of the samples ready for us to pick up that Saturday morning, which was super convenient. I would highly recommend Ambrosia - the cakes taste great, the cakes look beautiful, the price is competitive, and the process was very stress free!

Ambrosia Bakery is truly a name that speaks for itself! The planning process with their bridal department was extremely easy. My husband and I had a vision of combining 3 cakes that we saw on Pinterest for our wedding cake and Ambrosia pulled it off just like we imagined. We cannot wait to dig into that top tier on our first anniversary! I highly recommend Ambrosia to all Baton Rouge area brides.

Wow!! Our wedding cake and groom's cake were AMAZING!! We had used Ambrosia's before and knew how delicious and beautiful their cakes were, but I was truly blown away by their work for our wedding. The planning process was super easy and stress-free. I had found pictures online of ideas for what we wanted and they truly blew our expectations away. Our wedding cake was three layers with sugar veil on the middle layer. I had no idea what this was, but after doing some research, I learned how difficult it is to do - well, ours was STUNNING! We still get compliments on our wedding cake and groom's cake, which most people didn't realize was actually edible! Cannot recommend Ambrosia's enough!

The Ambrosia Bakery made a phenomenal wedding cake for our wedding! The cake was absolutely beautiful and was extremely delicious! We received many compliments on both fillings we had (fresh strawberry and pecan praline), as both were outstanding. We loved everything about the taste and look of our cake and truly could not have hoped for anything better! We are so thankful that Ambrosia Bakery helped to make our day so special. We chose them because they beat everyone else's pricing on what we wanted for our wedding cake and my husband loves their stuff. We had absolutely no problems and the cake came out looking like the picture I sent them. I didn't get to eat the cake but the guest who did said they loved it

My husband and I had a horrible experience with Ambrosia Bakery. We were very excited to work with Ambrosia because they are known to be the best. We had an amazing experience on our first visit tasting the different cakes and picking out our designs. However, they contacted me via email at 1:30pm the day before my wedding to let me know that they could not created the design we had originally picked out. They were extremely rude when I went by the bakery later that evening to pick a new design for my cake saying that the new design I had picked out would be fine and would not cost any extra. I was very disappointed with the way my cake turned out. It was definitely not up to the usual Ambrosia Bakery standards. I hope no one else has the same experience we unfortunately
had.

I am not a fan of any cake, so this review is strictly based on my guests, family, and appearances! Everyone said the cake was extremely moist and the fillings delicious! Ambrosia was very easy to work with--within minutes of my appointment they had drawn a sketch of exactly what I wanted the cake to look like, and the real thing was beautiful! They have tons of experience, so were able to offer me advise on what would and would not work as well. So happy I choose them for my wedding!

We live in New Orleans so when I had to use a baker from Baton Rouge for my daughter's wedding I was concerned. Ambrosia was recommended to me by family in Baton Rouge. They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. the only problem we had was the cake tasting, there was no picking one flavor! We ended up with 4 different cakes! I have never imagined so many people would actually call me to ask where the cake came from. I would highly recommend them.

The Ambrosia Bakery has the BEST strawberry cake. When my fiance and I were trying to decide where to get our cake from, we knew it had to be a bakery that could work around my nut allergy. Ambrosia gave me the option of simply stacking two of their strawberry cakes, which is my favorite cake of all time. This made my wedding absolutely perfect.

I can not say enough good things about ambrosia! We had our wedding and grooms cake both made by ambrosia. My husband and I are not big cake eaters, so we have a few special request for ambrosia. The grooms cake was a double doozie cookie cake, designed to look like the Death Star. It was absolutely amazing! Our wedding cake was a semi-naked funfetti cake with different fillings for each layer. There was a single piece left from either cake! Our guest stood in line for the funfetti cake. Ambrosia was easy to work with. They understood everything I wanted and pictured for my wedding cakes. Just book them asap, their dates fill up quickly!

Ambrosia made our cakes exactly how we pictured them! They worked with us to make sure that they understood just what we wanted. Besides looking amazing, the cakes tasted like Heaven! We weren't able to get full slices at our reception, but we're happy that we can go pick up a slice any day we want at the bakery. We can't wait to eat the top layer for our first anniversary!

Can't say enough great things about Ambrosia bakery! Our wedding cake and groom's cake looked better than I could have ever imagined, and they tasted great too! From the very beginning of planning our wedding, my husband and I knew that we wanted our cake to be designed by Ambrosia but we were so nervous about the price. They were so wonderful to work with because they listened to what we were hoping for and were able to make suggestions to keep us within our budget. We had two cakes designed for our wedding reception: our main wedding cake and a groom's cake. The main wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous! It was four tiers, accented in gold ribbon at the bottom of each tier, and each layer had a different design in pearl frosting. We even had our initials on the 2nd tier. So special! I created the cake topper and they were happy to work with me to give me an idea of what height and width I should design with. Plus, each layer was flavored with a different filling (and we got to take home lots of samples beforehand to try with our families so we could make an informed decision). The groom's cake was awesome -- even though my groom wanted a Florida Gator themed cake LOL (I'm an LSU alum and huge Tiger fan). Both of our cakes turned out even better than we expected!

Their cupcakes were sooo delicious! We did a tiered cupcake holder with 100 mixed cupcakes and a 6" anniversary cake on top. The whole thing looked gorgeous and the cupcakes were so light and tasty. Plus they were so easy to work with. Thank you Yvette and Cheryl for the beautiful work and for making everything so easy!

Our cake was the best possible cake!! Their fresh strawberry cake is to die for. It's made with strawberries in the icing! My mom has been talking about it since we had our cake tasting a year ago. One of the top things I was looking forward to at the wedding was having more of that cake. It was an outdoors wedding in June, so the lightness of the cake went perfectly with the hot Louisiana weather. Even in the heat, it was super light and fluffy. The bakery also helped us purchase cake charms and even added the extra touch of putting in a little hidden mickey for me! I'll be getting more of this cake from them any chance I get in the future.

Everyone, including myself and the groom, RAVED about our cakes! We got both our bridal and grooms cake here. I had randomly found a picture of a cake I liked on pinterest, and they made it come to life! We also got each layer a different filling, and the whole cake was gone! I am not a fan of chocolate cake, but even I loved the groom's cake with turtle pecan filling! So glad we went with them. IT was worth the money.
