Being an “older” bride, 2nd wedding, the girls treated me like I was a 1st time bride. They were very professional, very polite, offered amazing advice & were very accommodating. I said YES to the dress!!! I felt beautiful, and they truly were amazing with my bridal gown shopping experience !!!!
Very horrible experience! Never once did any of the girls help us when looking through dresses. Told us they wouldn’t arrive in time and took us to a discontinued rack and said “here you go”. I felt very uncomfortable while there. The chick kept calling me “honey” “babe” and so on. She even was calling her coworkers babe. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! will never go back here. I don’t think any of the employees really know what they are doing there. And FYI they block reviews on Facebook. Only post the good ones. If that tells you anything. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Save your money and don’t spend there. They have the place set up like a yard sale. Wish i could give them negative stars. If i knew this is how the experience would be i would’ve saved my time and went somewhere else.
This place is horrible. Do not get your dresses from here. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment they acted like they didn’t even want to bother with us. They threw us back by the dresses and said here they are and went back up front didn’t even ask colors or style of wedding. The lady was absolutely horrible. Flash forward to today when the dresses came in. Same horrible girl again! We couldn’t even pick up the 11 year old dresses because they needed permission from them. The 11 year olds!! Even though we paid for them! Why would you not give the bride the dresses for her own wedding??! We had to call and put them on speaker phone. I have never encountered this type of service shopping for bridesmaid dresses! Thank god the bride didn’t get her dress from there!! We went to Magnolias and had a fabulous, one of a kind experience there! Do not go to Andrew Jacobson in Cape!! And so you know how current this post is, today is 7/30/2021
They were so professional and helped in every way they could! Even in the middle of all this Covid-19 mess. They’re the best!
They were so good to me!! I picked my dress in December for our May Wedding. My dress came in early February. Covid-19 shut everything down before I could pick up my dress and the owner worked with me on a time to meet me up there while they were closed so I could get it in time for wedding. Our Wedding was nothing like we had planned since everything cancelled and closed on us, but Andrew Jackson helped make everything go so smoothly on their end!
I’m pretty sure the girls who work here all share one brain cell. They sized me as a 12 for my friends wedding and when I took it somewhere else to get alterations they laughed because it was 3 sizes too big. I tried paying for my dress in February and they said it was already paid for in April. I’m not sure how that makes any sense but that’s these girls for you! I would not recommend unless you can decode stupid.
The experience wasn't as unique or customer-oriented as other bridal shops I've been to. I appreciate help from the workers to find dresses, especially as I'm trying on and deciding what I like or don't like about specific dresses. I didn't find that service here.
My mother and I came in two weeks after I got engaged on a hunch and we're not disappointed! My bridal consultant pinpointed my style very quickly and by the fifth dress I found the one! They also have deals on your bridesmaids' dresses and tuxes if you get your dress there.
When it came to finding my perfect dress, the staff here were absolutely wonderful! We ended up getting my veil and renting our tuxes there as well. The week of the wedding we picked up my dress and everything was perfect! The only problem we had was that the morning of our wedding we realized they had totally screwed up the ties that went with the tuxes. The ties they ordered were an awful shade of orange! Bride's nightmare! After talking with them they apologized but to the mix up. (Luckily) The ties we actually wanted were simple black so we had to have my father in law go out and buy all new ties for the men. I hate that we had this issue because they were so helpful and on point leading up to the big day.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They helped me truly find/create a one of a kind gown! They helped me become the princess bride I envisioned.
When I got there a woman started "helping" me really she stood there and gave one word answers to my questions (my mom pointed out this is probably because I am a 18 year old bride). Half way into trying on dresses and my frustration with this woman is almost enough to make me find another salon but the only man working there came over and got the woman working just by his presence (I guess he is her boss I don't know) but a few dresses later she brought my dress to me. The alteration women were fast on my dress they charge 30 an hour and only took two hours for adding darts and hemming a mostly lace dress.
great selection of accessories.
I first saw the dress that I knew I wanted at a store in Springfield, Mo. I don't live in Springfield, but it was very important to me to try on dresses with my grandma. After coming back to my hometown, Columbia, Mo., I tried on the dress again with my mother and knew it was the one. But, the dress, which was originally pretty expensive ($1,400) had went up an additional $100 (plus tax and alterations). This confused me because the dress was no longer new or "in season" and the store I went to wasn't very much help. My mother called around and finally found the dress at The Andrew Jackson. The sales ladies there were very nice and more than willing to help. They even suggested to my mom to wait a little while because (around Thanksgiving) the store has a sale where this particular dress would be 20% off, that would save me over $300 before taxes. Just the fact that the sales ladies told my mom about this sale told me that this was the store I wanted to buy my dress at. So, over the phone (during the sale) we ordered my dress, the ladies told me how to measure myself and even made a few suggestions since the dress I wanted was very fitted. I ended up driving 4 hours to Jackson, Mo. and 4 hours back in my dad's Corolla and saved a total of almost $400 even after paying for gas. I highly recommend The Andrew Jackson not only because the sales ladies are all about what YOU want and not their commission, but because they want to help you get the dress of your dreams. This store keeps its small town feel with personal touches but makes sure that it can compete with any big city shop.
I was getting very discouraged and couldn't find the dress I wanted at the price range I needed. I tried several different bridal shops, some nice, some not, but this is where I found the dress I imagined, at the price I could barely believe, with service that was amazing. Thanks so much Andrew Jackson Bridal!! You all were great!
I bought my dress off the clearance rack when it was too small knowing I would lose weight. The ladies helped me by showing me how it could be let out if needed. Beautiful, quality Maggie Sotero on clearance for less than $400.
AMAZING SERVICE & QUICK WITH ALTERATIONS!! WONDERFUL PEOPLE & GREAT PRICES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! =)
