The Arbory Chicago is an industrial-chic wedding venue located in Chicago, Illinois. Nestled in the historic West Town, this 100-year-old lumber warehouse blends vintage charm with contemporary sophistication.
The building’s renovation was inspired by turn-of-the-century New Orleans, and the facility now features six sweeping skylights, custom millwork, old Chicago brick, and state-of-the-art amenities. Facilities and Capacity
When you enter The Arbory Chicago, you will be greeted by breathtaking exposed brick walls and natural light, which filters in from the skylights above. To the left you will find a beautifully designed get-ready en-suite, where you can prepare for the festivities and enjoy champagne with your wedding party. This area also features a staging area and a fully equipped prep kitchen. To your right is an aisle that leads to the ceremony location. Custom doorways and lush drapery open from this spot to the dreamy reception banquet hall, which is draped with Italian café lights and can accommodate 200 guests. This convenient setup avoids a room flip and allows for flexibility when decorating each phase of your celebration. The reception area, "skylight room" comes with two bars, lounge furniture to seat 6, gender-neutral bathrooms, and plenty of room for dining and dancing late into the night.

On the day of the wedding, the staff at The Arbory were so capable and prepared that the day moved smoothly from start to finish. We didn't need to think about or help with any of the logistics and were able to really be in the moment and stay engaged in soaking up the day with our loved ones. We could not recommend a place more strongly!! The building is breathtaking and the staff are top notch. 10/10!

We got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space was. There is a bridal suite and groom's suite which was very helpful for storing day of items and having a dedicated space for our personal belongings. nicate with at times, and we didn't know we would have another coordinator we hadn't met there for the actual wedding. You apparently are not allowed to use or move the LED lights that the venue comes with, but this is not listed anywhere in the list of decor it comes with. The venue was VERY hot and they were nice in helping bring out some industrial fans to help cool things down, especially for an end of August wedding. The photo/video booth was therefore a sauna which was unfortunate as that is one of the biggest draws to the space. There was a wedding the Friday night before our Saturday wedding, and it was stressful trying to make a back up plan for our rehearsal and they were not super helpful in coming up with an alternative plan. I would still have used the venue as it was exactly what we pictured, there were just some bumps to work out.

Shay was amazing to work with—so professional, prompt, and always on top of things. I usually sent emails around 8 PM because of my work schedule, and without fail, she'd reply first thing the next morning. She made the entire planning process smooth, and our final walkthrough was seamless thanks to her organization and attention to detail.
Our family was in charge of decorating the space, and Shay graciously allowed us to arrive a bit early to set up. The flexibility and support meant so much to us.
Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous the venue was. Truly, if you're looking for a stunning, warm, and unique space for your wedding—look no further. The Arbory is the best venue in Chicago!

and wall art and brick! Every aspect is stunning! The aesthetic is one you know and instantly recognize/desire if it’s yours. Let me tell you it will never disappoint. Candle walls and plant walls, Even the bathrooms are on point lol. The event space aside, the team is incredible. The venue allows you to use vendors you desire, with their approval. You are able to choose anything to your hearts desires, and never forced into anything, which many venues do. I love this aspect, i was able to cater phenomenal food, and drinks vendors as well as do a lot of things myself due to their accommodations. They were so great, they also were able to hire out staff for me as well which was incredibly helpful as they were vetted and trustworthy.
Prior to the event they gave me great tours and explained so many things to me (when you know nothing about planning this is key and so helpful, kind, and considerate). They helped me find wedding insurance and explained so many steps. Lastly they were incredibly communicative throughout everything!! Emails like crazy and always responsive. I’m a project manager in my daily life so trust me when i say they were great at project management and communication!
The staff were so sweet and said they really enjoyed the event as well. We’re Arab and had a cultural wedding and they were so accommodating to changes and lateness and many aspects that they may not have been used to! We typically have large events but we managed to commit to the 190 limit and i’m so happy we did because it was STUNNING AND MAGICAL!! Thank you to everyone at the Arbory for all your help!

We had to do absolutely no decorating on our own - which was a big plus for us! The staff is also amazing. They are so kind and helpful, and were even willing to help us out with tasks throughout the evening that they certainly did not need to help us with. Highly, highly recommend!!

y that has managed to balance popular industrial vibes with soft, natural, earthy elements. The attention to detail in the murals, plants, living greenery, custom doors and bars is incredible. Working with Allison White was also wonderful. She welcomed us back to the venue multiple times and kept us updated on the progress--it was totally stress free to work with her. When I left the Arbory at the end of the night I was honestly not sad that wedding planning was over, but I was sad I would probably not ever be in the Arbory again.

thing was seamless and easy! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the greenery and lounge furniture are such nice touches. Having tables and chairs through the venue is also a huge benefit. The murals on the walls make gorgeous photo backdrops. There is currently construction on the road, so you can’t park right in front of the venue, but there is free street parking right around the corner, and none of our guests had any issues. Overall, the Arbory is a phenomenal venue!

on who provided an incredibly thoughtful tour of the space and gave us a million and one ideas on how our day could go... It's no surprise that we ended up choosing exactly what she suggested! While they have a preferred vendor list for catering, they were flexible with florals, decor, and DJ. Even though we had a small wedding (for a space that can fit much more!), Allison and team were able to make the space feel intimate for both the ceremony and reception; as if they could only fit the exact number of guests we had (~65 guests). The staging room was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get settled and take photos prior to the ceremony (SO many photo ops!) Honestly, I could keep going... But seriously, I highly recommend The Arbory to those looking. Everything about it was incredible!

ctly what we were looking for! We worked with Allison ahead of the big day and she was easy to communicate with and even invited us back, after the venue was completed, so we could see it in person again. We also worked with Shay closer to the date and she was our venue manager on the day-of the wedding. I am so thrilled and happy we decided to book The Arbory, it is a beautiful venue, full of character, special & unique touches, and yet can still be fully customized to reflect each couple's personality. You can truly tell the team behind the venue understand events because they have crafted the venue so well. We didn't even have to do much with decor because they have so many awesome murals and living walls! The venue also provided a professional and wonderful security guard for our wedding, and we had plenty of street parking available too. We cannot recommend Allison, Shay and The Arbory enough! We have received so many compliments on how beautiful and perfect our venue was, and honestly, it is!
