Enjoy a relaxed, unforgettable rehearsal dinner with your family and friends at The Argot Room! This charming setting is ideal for events of all kinds for up to 48 guests, and is the private event venue for Jargon, a West Asheville restaurant that has been offering seasonal, distinctive and upscale cuisine since 2017. If you're looking for a unique and an intimate gathering space, we've got the perfect backdrop and expertise to bring it all together.
In addition to rehearsal dinners, The Argot Room is perfect for a pre-wedding brunch, engagement party, or any gathering you have in mind. The space has a cozy vintage vibe, featuring lounge areas and many artistic touches. In addition to plenty of room for dining, The Argot Room has a full bar space for dancing or music, and a/v capabilities.
Our site rental fee is $600, and catering packages range from $40-$100 per person depending on the style of dining you prefer. We offer a wide variety of beverage options, and these costs can be part of the catering package, or a cash bar can be provided.
When you book your event with The Argot Room, you'll collaborate with our dedicated Event Coordinator throughout the planning process. We would love to learn more about your special event, and help you craft an amazing experience!
Meet the team
Andrea Kentner
Event Coordinator
Andrea was born off the Mississippi river in the small town of Clinton, Iowa. Later, her family moved to a town right outside of Houston, Texas. There, she was given even more opportunities to grow, learn, and explore! She attended San Jacinto Community College where she studied education, and started working at a “mom and pop” Italian restaurant where she was able to excel and prosper in all positions. For seven years, she was eating endless pizza and shaping herself for a big move! After visiting friends in Asheville she fell in love with the area and quickly saw how passionate this mountain town is for the service industry. She moved here in September 2018 with her dog, Miloh, and though leaving her family was tough, she found a community of friends and even fell in love! Andrea started her journey at Jargon in May of 2019. Since then, she’s shown dedication, hard work, and growth. As the Event Coordinator for The Argot Room, Jargon’s large party event venue, she brings a memorable experiences to all guests from start to finish. On Andrea’s off time, she enjoys the company of her four animals, devoted partner and a new baby girl. She loves being creative with her art and will never turn down a chance to go see Dave Matthews Band.
