My friends and I had a delightful experience at The Artful Bachelorette this past Saturday, 5/4/19. Not only is this a unique and creative alternative to the same old "traditional" bachelorette activities, like spa days or strip clubs, but it was a really relaxed, comfortable, and fun atmosphere. Our instructor Sabrina was the perfect hostess, making us feel really welcome, and immediately putting us at ease. Not only was she a super competent teacher for the drawing exercises, but she was friendly and professional, and genuinely invested in all of us having a good time. Artur was a wonderful model; easy on the eyes, yes, but also similarly professional and legitimately cared about us having a good experience. There was a beautiful spread of cheese, crackers, and champagne, plenty of natural lighting in the adorable studio space, and the music playlist was on fire! Don't worry if you feel like you "can't draw", because Sabrina guides you through a lot of low stakes warm up exercises that get you solid in your fundamentals before tackling the bigger stuff. And even then, it's more about the laughs, the collaborative spirit, and the celebration. And while I don't want to give anything away and spoil the experience for anyone, I will say that there's a healthy mix of classy and saucy. You'll get your giggles on, but still have plenty of PG rated fun to talk about with others. At the end of the class, they assemble a book of your artwork for the bride as a nice keepsake. I'm so glad I booked this for us for my best friend's special day. I cannot recommend The Artful Bachelorette enough, and wish I was in more wedding parties so that I could go back again!
The Artful Bachelorette team was amazing, from the initial booking to the night of the event. Maureen and Jo were great! We had 11 guests total and hosted the event in a hotel suite. We laughed and had a great time. Our drawings are.... interesting to say the least, but will always remind me of a wonderful night. I highly recommend you book a Bachelorette or birthday party with the Artful Bachelorette- or even just a night out with friends.
The Artful Bachelorette was an absolute blast!
I went for my bachelorette party with friends and my sisters. Nicole from The Artful Bachelorette led our event, and she was fabulous! Everyone was raving about how much fun the night was and how it was so well done!! Nicole went through drawing exercises, telling us how to draw the very good looking guy posing for us. We laughed a ton and loved that it was such a unique way to celebrate! I would recommend this to any bride to be!! Classy and super fun!
The Artful Bachelorette is the perfect event for those who want to have a little sexy fun without being tacky or over the top. Our model was extremely good-looking and while all the bridesmaids were a little nervous to start, the hostess did a great job of wrangling everyone and make the whole experience really fun. We talked about the event for days after the fact and kept giggling (and blushing) at the memories of the experience. Everyone at the party, especially the bride, had a fabulous time and kept raving about how this was such an awesome idea. The team at TAB was so professional and easy to work with. Would totally recommend this event to anyone hosting a bachelorette party or similar get-together.
This was the best activity we did for my bachelorette! I was weary of having any type of strippers as my fiancé and I are a little more on the conservative type. My MOH heard me loud and clear and this was amazing. Violet and Aaron were so professional and truly made all 11+ girls feel comfortable. I had a blast with this duo and would recommend them not only for a bachelorette but a birthday or a girls paint night.
Thank you for making my bachelorette unforgettable.
I was lucky enough to be surprised with The Artful Bachelorette! My bachelorette was the Wednesday before my Sunday wedding, so no day of the week is off limits! We were a mixed group (me and my four bridesmen) and we had Nicole, Ashley, and Artur, who I cannot rave about more. They made our group feel comfortable, warm, and fit our group's vibe absolutely perfectly. Nicole was great about making us feel that we didn't need to be great artists to enjoy ourselves...and boy, did we. We can get rowdy, especially being in a hotel room in Midtown, but Nicole kept us on track while also letting us be us.
They're attention to detail was amazing. I'm a huge Disney fan, so the music was Disney themed and Artur was definitely serving Aladdin vibes. I loved that they had everyone write me a note on their drawings. It is such a sweet and fun keepsake. I'll remember my Artful Bachelorette forever. We laughed, we drank, we drew, we had the best time.
My sisters and friends surprised me with a bachelorette party at The Artful Bachelorette! I usually don't like surprises but this one was awesome. I used to be an art major but I don't practice anymore. It was really nice to be creative again in an artsy way, and they made it so easy! Anyone can do it and it's super light hearted fun. I highly recommend it :D Hooray!!!
LOVED loved loved our experience with the Artful Bachelorette!!! The instructor is an absolute delight and the model and our topless server were SO much fun and really helped us to relax and have a fabulous time. None of us had any artistic background but the activities really made for some interesting and entertaining drawings! I cannot recommend this highly enough, if you're planning a bachelorette you should definitely check them out.
I booked this for my best friend's Bachelorette this past weekend as sort of the main "bachelorette-y" event of the weekend. We came to NYC from out of town and ended up having a group of 11 including the bride. The activity was everything and more than I could've imagined. I did pretty extensive research in the Yelp reviews before booking, but you still never really know how it is going to go. There were some girls in the group that were a bit hesitant about the idea and had little to no drawing experience, but the series of exercises Jacey (our host) lead were perfectly in order.
They ask you to arrive on time and as a full group, and due to NYC traffic, we were of course late and not together. I felt so bad, but they handled it like it was a non-issue. Once we were all situated upstairs, we grabbed our complementary champagne (which was a heavier pour than I expected, by the way), and Jacey introduced herself to the group and asked a few questions about our group (how we all know the bride, etc). I think in these questions she's definitely also trying to get a feel for the crowd so that she could cater to those vibes. It was clear she was very experienced in the customer service industry! By the end of event, she honestly knew about half of our names simply by listening to us talk to one another. Shortly after the introductions, Kurt (our model) came out. He was not shy at all, but super nice and engaging, which easily took away most of the nerves.
We went through several drawing exercises: some individually and some as a group. We brought some of our own champagne, and Jacey continuously poured it for us as we got low. At halftime, there was a break where everybody could use the restroom or snack on some of the provided cheese and crackers, which were SO much more delicious than I expected. I was thinking maybe lower grade deli cheeses, but it was a much more legitimate, higher quality, cheese board.
I had so many girls come up to me afterwards to say what an amazing experience it was and that they would totally do it again and recommend it to others. And I completely agree! As the weekend approached, we had some girls drop out, and Nicole was always extremely responsive to any emails I sent. All in all, this is a SUPERB experience. So much fun, extremely classy, excellent service - the perfect Bachelorette (or any other special event really) experience!
My sister chose this place for my bachelorette and I am glad she did. We both also love to draw and have a great appreciate for art. She knew I wanted to keep it as clean as possible as I am uncomfortable going to strip clubs and also being the center of attention. I also wasn't entirely sure of the comfort level of my friends. It was great to have the option to keep it PG or to take it up just a notch. We were greeted by Nicole, a beautiful host with a great voice. She did a great job instructing us and helped us take photos while we drew and pour drinks. Kurt was our gorgeous model who was also giving us ideas along the way. They both were funny, professional, and sweet. Cheese, nuts and crackers were provided. My sister was able to BYOB. The music was on point too. We had a party of 12 and everyone loved it. Highly recommend this place for any type of celebration! Thanks so much Nicole and Kurt for taking such great care of us and for the great experience!
We came here for my best friend's bachelorette party. I can't even describe what a great time we had. Our instructor, Nicole, was amazing. She kept us entertained and engaged the whole time. The model was a pleasure to work with, very friendly and personable. Making the arrangements and dealing with everyone at The Artful Bachelorette was so easy. They always responded in a timely manner and were true professionals to deal with. It was definitely worth every penny! The bride to be had a wonderful time! We didn't even realize how quickly the 2 hours went by. You don't need to be an artist to participate and have an amazing time!! We would surely come back for another event. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have an awesome time!
I truly can't say more about how incredible of a time we had!!!!...First off, we had to scramble for last minute activities for a bachelorette weekend because of hurricane Florence. I reached out and received immediate response for availability and details by The Artful Bachelorette (Nicole), she was so nice and even more accommodating. After a bottomless mimosa brunch for this tipsy crew we were greeted by the lovely Fleur, she was warm and so inviting every minute. After pouring us champagne and giving us a tutorial we met our gorgeous @model Kurt. We had so much fun and both Kurt and Fleur made it absolutely perfect for our celebrated bride, you don't have to worry about being a perfect artist or even being shy of sketching a naked stranger, they made it easy in every way. Thank you so much for such an amazing time from drawing techniques to a female empowering playlist. Definitely recommend for a group activity to break up the A-typical bachelorette weekend. Can't thank Fleur enough for such an amazing concept and will absolutely be using your services in Philly!
I was planning my sister's destination bachelorette party in New York City. We had the honor of having Fleur, the owner and creator of Artful Bachelorette, be our instructor for our session. She came with a gorgeous model to our hotel room in Midtown, and was very accommodating of the smaller space and boozed up crowd. Many of us were wary of our art skills not being up to par, but she made sure to teach us all the basics and was very great about pointing out what was good with each of our drawings. We were impressed with how classy and tasteful the session was, too. I would definitely recommend booking the Artful Bachelorette for your bachelorette party! Totally worth it!
When my best friend asked me to be her Man of Honor, I remember immediately thinking.. Ohh shit I can't wait to do Artful Bachelorette. A year and a half later, it lived up and exceeded every expectation. They work so well within what parameters you give them and make it worth every penny.
We did the class within our hotel room and they made the experience feel both intimate and professional. They were prompt and controlled the room tremendously well. Over the course of the two hours the class never lagged in energy or engagement. It moved along seamlessly building to a fever pitch of giggly excitement.
And don't get me started on the model. HOT, Charismatic and Engaged. What more can you ask for?
Frankly I hope someone else gets married soon, otherwise I'm gonna have to sign up for an Artful B-day, Christmas, or random Saturday.
So much fun.
I couldn't have asked for a better bachelorette party experience than the one I had with The Artful Bachelorette! When the responsibility of planning a bachelorette party for my best friend fell into my lap, I literally typed "non cliche bachelorette party ideas" into Google, and I was immediately intrigued by The Artful Bachelorette.
Fleur and her entire team were very friendly and accommodating for my party's needs. We requested to have a model and a teacher drive down to our location in San Diego. I had a bit of a hiccup in location plans, so I was very grateful that the crew was able to arrive at our new location as scheduled.
Victoria was our art instructor, a very lovely Australian woman who really got us into drawing with ease. I loved how she got us to engage with drawing the model in a way that encouraged us to appreciate all of the model without feeling like we were up and coming pornographers. She was very efficient as well setting up the drawing supplies, and I loved how she interacted with us as we shared our artwork with each other. She provided a good mix of different drawing activities that allowed us to focus on different... parts... of our drawing abilities.
Jared was our model, a very handsome and fit otter-type guy with a suave personality and... plenty to admire. I don't say this often about other men because of how proud I am of my own assets, but Jared's tush must have auditioned for Wicked the way it was defying gravity. He was immediately comfortable with our group and was not shy at all to pose. Our party played a few games to go along with the mood--such as Truth or Truth, and Taboo Words--and I loved that both Jared and Victoria were encouragingly into the games. Laughs were definitely shared among us all without ever treading into anything inappropriate.
One of our activities that I really enjoyed was taking turns completing a detailed drawing of the model. We each had one minute to draw before passing the boards around. Inevitably, everybody with a particular fixation ended up being the artist extraordinaire of, let's say, Jared's chest hair, his calves, his jawline. It was the most entertaining assembly line we've ever been a part of. At the end, Victoria had us write a special message to the bride so that the drawings could all be compiled into a "book" for the bride.
Afterwards, all of our guests, especially the bride, were very happy and expressed how much they enjoyed the event. The resounding consensus was that we all felt like we got to participate in something totally fun, totally unique, and just the right amount of risque to still make it feel like a special bachelorette's event. Some girls even said they've always wanted to do a nude drawing class, and they got to cross this one off their bucket lists! Most of all, I loved the team, and it really speaks volumes to have an instructor and model who can read our group correctly and work with us.
Not to mention, the playlist was awesome! Thank you so much to Fleur, Victoria, Jared, and everyone else from The Artful Bachelorette! I am definitely recommending this to anyone planning a bachelorette party and similarly does not think being smothered by greasy stripper butt constitutes a good time.
I was so happy to stumble upon the Artful Bachelorette when doing a google search for alternate bachelorette ideas for my best friend! It's makes that unforgettable "bachelorette" experience just a bit more classy ;) The staff worked with me for months going over the date and location (so happy that they recently expanded to Boston! We had the party at the Tango Society in Somerville) - even the food I wanted. Because we had dinner before the party, we were able to have cupcakes vs. a cheese spread. We kept it a surprise for the bride up until the last moment and I think it was worth it! We had a lot of fun and laughed a LOT going through all the drawing techniques, drinking champagne, telling stories, etc. I would definitely recommend! One small thing is that our party was the model's first night - He was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed having him, but you could definitely tell he was nervous and a bit embarrassed at first! We were expecting someone a little more experienced and confident, but everyone has a debut, right?? We hope that he comes back for more parties because he was great!!
When my best friend asked if I would be the maid of honor. Firstly I was of extremely honored and secondly, super excited that I got to organize her bachelorette party.
I have attended many bachelorette parties and I can honestly say this is the best experience I have had so far. I wanted to find something super fun and a bit different and I did!
The Artful Bachelorette party was a two-hour drawing party with champagne and food.
The teacher was very attentive and made us all feel super comfortable which was especially good for those of us who can not draw well at all, (me) which didn't matter at all.
The nude model was hot and nice. There was never anything sleazy and gross. The space was very elegant and private.
All ten of us had a ball and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and unique activity. Most importantly the bride-to-be was surprised in a good way and had a blast.
A nice touch was a few days after the party we received a bunch of super cute pics of the party and some of our drawings compiled in a book as a gift for the bride.
