Overall our experience with Artisan for a private function was good, not great. Communication between us and our event coordinator was slow-going at first, and emails were supposedly lost to "spam" folders. To book our function, we were not told up front there had to be a minimum dollar limit to reserve the area, and had to add more than we wanted to meet the requirement of $4,500. We had booked the function in the promised "glass arboretum" that was to be built and finished by July, however, a few weeks before the function, we were told it wasn't built at all and we would be set up in the ballroom instead (which is mostly a gray double room). This was fine until we saw on our contract the Artisan added $1,500 for the room change, even though it was out of our hands and not what was initially agreed upon. We talked to Artisan about the discrepancy and they agreed to cancel out the extra hidden fee. The workers and the food they provided the night of the function were superb and the guests enjoyed themselves.

I could not recommend the Artisan Hotel or their staff enough! The Artisan hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding and the majority of my guests stayed at the Artisan throughout the wedding weekend. The entire planning process for the rehearsal dinner was extremely smooth and professional. The rehearsal dinner was held in a private event room at the hotel and was perfect for my group of 20ish guests. I was able to customize the entire menu for my guests and even request my preferences for the bar. Even further, I was asked what my preferences were for linens/florals for the tables and the floorplan. The room was comfortable and modern. The tables had stunning black linens with white florals and there was tasteful background music for the whole event. Not to mention, the food was delicious! (we chose a buffet of salmon, steak, Caesar salad and strawberry shortcake) The planning team and bartenders were all extremely professional, helpful, present, and just really nice people to work and socialize with! All of my family members and friends were extremely impressed and raved about the entire experience. Further, the entire hotel from the guest rooms, the pool area, lobby, and rooftop bar was simply stunning. I would 100% recommend the Artisan hotel for anyone’s private event, but especially for a pre-wedding space!

We just had a small wedding in the Artisan Hotel in one of their meeting rooms. Jeremy helped set up the room for us. I have done many events as well as weddings and Bar Mitzvah in mass/ NH and this was perfect The staff was great, the room turned out better than I thought and the food was excellent ( I am from NY so That means a lot to me) From the beginning, everything was wonderful. The Waitress staff was everything I could ask for. Anything we needed they took care of Could not ask for anything better. Whether it’s a small or large event, go to Artisan hotel in Salem NH
