I booked the artists for hair service for myself, 4 bridesmaids, MOG and MOB and could not have been happier! Erin and her team were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. My artist Noel was patient, flexible, kind, and professional even when I completely changed my day of style from what we had done at my trial! We all looked beautiful through a day full of 90 degree July heat and received many compliments!!

Erin was an incredible joy to work with. She took all of what I wanted to create a look I was so happy with. I would highly recommend her!

I hired the Artists Hair & Makeup for my wedding in May and I have SO many wonderful things to say! They were professional, friendly, flexible and just a warm and comfortable presence in the room the morning of the wedding. They are insanely talented - and they listened to each woman and accommodated whatever style and vibe they were going for. I felt so confident in my hair and makeup and most importantly, I still felt like I looked like myself. They went above and beyond and spent extra time making sure my veil went in just right. Erin and the team were amazing! They were professional, thoughtful and open to the bridesmaid inspiration photos. They touched up all the girls before getting dressed too. My hair and makeup came out even better than the trial! Erin is a real gem, and even stayed a few minutes later to ensure that my veil looked perfect. She’s truly the best, and I received a ton of compliments throughout the day, and the days that followed. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a superb hair and makeup team!

I used The Artists for both hair and makeup during my October wedding. From booking to the trial to the day off, the process was seamless. Laura and Laura listened to everyone’s preferences and make sure everyone was comfortable with their look and felt their best. They were so efficient and best yet, the hair and makeup lasted all night! Every through many happy tears and hours of dancing.

I chose the artists hair and makeup to do mine and my bridal parties hair and makeup for my wedding on September 17,2023 and I am so glad I did! I knew I made the right choice as soon as I went for my trial for hair and makeup but they truly outdid themselves even from that for my actual wedding day, I had the pleasure of having Erin, Laura and Lindsey and they were all amazing and super fun to be around and all were extremely friendly and provided touch ups to everyone before they left for the day. Also an added touch is that they travel to you which was super convenient since my ceremony and reception were held in the same place so I didn’t have to worry about traveling anywhere all day. I believe I ended up having 11 people getting both hair and makeup done and they finished extremely fast while still taking their time to make sure each person was perfect and were extremely efficient and the room never once felt cramped or congested at least to me. I can not recommend them enough you will not be disappointed and they really know what they’re doing and can help you look stunning even if you’re not sure what you’re looking for yourself! I personally never do my hair never do my makeup and went in having no idea what I wanted or what to do and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my whole life thanks to them.

The Artists Hair + Makeup provided hair and makeup services for me (the bride), 6 bridesmaids, and 4 family members. Laura, Erin, and Lindsey made my wedding morning stress free. They were so fun and kept the energy up, and they stayed on/ ahead of schedule the whole morning. They provided amazing services and everybody's makeup and hair lasted the whole day and night. It was a hot and humid day and I was certain my makeup would melt and my hair would lose its curl during our outdoor ceremony, but I was so wrong! I felt just as beautiful at the end of the night! They use an online portal, which connects to email, for communication, payments, and photos of hair and makeup trials. I loved how easy this made all communications. They responded to all my questions super quickly which I appreciated. I highly recommend The Artists Hair + Makeup!

Yuliana and Ayshleane did mine and my bridal party’s makeup and hair for my wedding and they did an excellent job. They were fun, professional and highly skilled. All the ladies looked absolutely gorgeous after Yuliana and Ayshleane were done!

Erin and Laura did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my bridal party. I am not a big hair/makeup person so did not really know what to look for when hiring, but I could not have been happier with my choice. Erin was incredibly patient with my back and forth about my hair style and ultimately I felt so beautiful with the style she created. Erin was the absolute best! She made me feel comfortable from the second I stepped into the salon for my trial! As someone who doesn't love to wear a ton of makeup, she immediately knew what I was looking for and executed it perfectly. They were timely on my wedding day and had the most chill yet professional attitudes. 10/10 recommend!

Laura and Yuliana were fantastic for our wedding makeup!! They were on schedule and even ahead of schedule. The weather for our wedding was extreme humidity followed by downpours (during an outside ceremony) and everyone's makeup stayed exactly the same! That is incredible!

Erin and Laura are the best! It was incredibly convenient to have our hair and make-up team through the same business and come to us on the morning of the wedding. I appreciated that they emphasized the importance of getting everyone ready on time (if not early). Definitely relieved a lot of the “day-of” stress. They did a great job listening the everyone’s hair and make-up requests and ensured the whole bridal party was happy with their hair and make up. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and am so glad I had The Artists do my wedding day beauty!

The Artists did a great job with my wedding hair and makeup! They were easy to work with during the trial and wedding day, and they got my bridal party ready with time to spare. Highly recommend for anyone having a wedding in the north shore area.

Laura was the absolute best!! From our trial to the day of the wedding, she was spot on with her recommendations, listening to everybody's requests and flawless execution that felt comfortable and natural, while still being glam!! Not only that, but she's just a joy. Super easygoing and grooved to our awesome playlist! Would 100% recommend.

Can I give more than 5 stars? This team is AMAZING. I could not be more thankful for Erin and Laura -- they made my bridesmaids, mom and myself feel gorgeous on my wedding day. What could have been a nightmare -- my airbnb lost ALL power -- turned into The Artists' working pure MAGIC. They were able to get all 8 of us ready (flawlessly) without any electricity. Despite this, I have never felt more beautiful in my life. They never panicked and stayed calm, making me feel at ease in what could have changed the tone for the entire day. Laura and Ayshleane provided hair and make up services to myself, 2 bridesmaids, and 2 moms for my wedding day. They did an amazing (and super speedy!) job enhancing everyones natural beauty and hair textures. During my trial, we worked together to figure out what is best for my hair and skin. Ayshleane absolutely killed it, as my hair style lasted through an outdoor ceremony in November, windy beach portraits, and hours of dancing.

Laura did my make up, my bridal party make up and moms make up for my wedding this October and every single person looked FLAWLESS! She was so easy to work with and gave me the exact look I was looking for! Simple and natural looking. She was fun to talk to and worked so efficiently and timely! Erin did hair for me, my bridesmaids, and the two moms. Everyone loved how they looked - I'm still obsessed with how my hair came out! She traveled to us, got everyone done quickly, and was so pleasant to work with all day! Prices are also very reasonable. Can't recommend her enough - wonderful person and incredible work!!

Laura was so talented and made me feel confident and beautiful for my special day. Laura and Erin were phenomenal. We used them for both hair and makeup. They kept the day flowing smoothly and had us ready in time to do touchups as well. Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. Our hair held up throughout the entire night and held up outside with the wind. Our makeup looked really natural and wasn't too much. They even ordered the fake eye lashes I wanted for the wedding. They were the best!

The trial was was relaxed and enjoyable as we listened to Lizzo and got to know each other. Erin worked with such care and enthusiasm, and was just as excited about my hair & makeup as I was! On the day of my wedding, she was organized, on time, and put together a fantastic team to help me and my bridal party get ready. She and her team executed each hair/makeup look exactly as my friends asked, and everyone felt comfortable and beautiful. They did an amazing job keeping us organized and on schedule so that we were ready on time, and did touchups a needed. One team member even did my grandmother's hair free of charge while she visited our "get-ready room," which made her day! I cannot recommend Erin enough - she was amazing from start to finish, and made me feel so special and beautiful!!

This is the second time that we have used the "Artists." We were so pleased the first time that we quickly booked them for our daughter's wedding! They are extremely talented with both hair and makeup and able to achieve the perfect look that each member of our group imagined---even without a trial! We enjoyed their professionalism, sense of calm, and warm conversation on what could have been a stressful morning. We were incredibly grateful and stunningly amazed that they were able to safely camouflage the facial injuries that the groom's mother incurred during a car accident right before the wedding. She was transformed following the make-up and hair session and thus felt confident and beautiful enough to participate in family photos. This lifted all of our spirits and greatly diminished stress levels! We award this team the highest recommendation possible---off the charts!

Erin was amazing to work with! She didn't hesitate when I asked to try two different hair options at my trial and he style we went with was perfect the day of! Additionally, they were so gracious and patient the morning of my wedding as they worked with my family who hadn't had any exposure to professional makeup artists. Overall, I highly recommend working with this team. Their transparency and proactive communication made them incredibly easy to work with!

Laura & Lindsey were so lovely to work with! I had 8 women getting hair done, 5-6 women getting makeup done, and bridal hair and makeup for myself. They arrived on time, worked great in the space I had, and managed to get everyone done ahead of schedule! Like, way ahead of schedule - we had down time!! Everyone looked so gorgeous. The hair was phenomenal, and the makeup was just right - amped up, but still natural. Everything lasted the entire day, through quite a breezy afternoon and a lot of (sweaty) dancing! Both women were easy to work with and helpful. If you come with an idea of what you’re looking for, they will do everything they can to create the right look that flatters you. If I remember my trial right, I said I wanted my makeup to be natural and I wanted to look like myself, and for my hair I wanted a romantic updo. I didn’t give them much to go on, clearly, but they did a great job interpreting the info I did provide. I felt like myself, just dolled up, which was exactly what I was aiming for. My hair gave me romantic fairytale vibes in the best way. All the ladies, including the mother of the groom, looked absolutely lovely! The Artists were very transparent and communicative throughout the process, and I’m so happy with the beautiful job they did! I still can’t believe how smoothly everything went.

Erin and Laura provided hair & makeup services for my wedding. I spent probably the most time and effort trying to find hair and makeup services. I consider myself a smart woman, but I was so confused by the quotes and how to interpret the prices/services…and so many places have a snooty vibe to them. Erin and Laura were soooo clear and concise about pricing and incredibly down to earth. They are not only talented, but personable and hilarious. We felt comfortable and laughed the entire time. I was looking for a vendor that wasn’t charging insane prices, but also someone able to style multiple skin tones and hair textures. They were wonderful in all areas! I described what I was looking for and both Erin and Laura ran with it and nailed it (without sample photos because I forgot that part oops). My bridal party were even more stunning than usual! Definitely recommend them for whatever services you’re looking for.

Erin did my hair as well as my bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. She did a fantastic job and everyone loved how their hair turned out. Erin was incredible punctual, flexible, accommodating, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She fit in great with our group and did a wonderful job.

Laura and Erin did my hair and makeup for my April 2022 wedding at the Beauport and they are the BEST. I knew from the moment I met them for the trial that I made the right decision picking them. They are so fun and have such positive energy and good humor. They made both my trial and wedding day a blast. I picked them initially because I wanted my hair in a low sleek knot bun and I saw pictures of them styling exactly that online. It is really hard to find someone who can do that! Most times I have gotten my hair done for other weddings with other stylists the hair vibe is very 80s/90s prom but The Artists are the total opposite. As soon as I turned around to show everyone my hair my cousin yelled out "OH MY GOD you are SO talented" to Erin and I knew I didn't even have to look in the mirror and that I was going to love my hair. Laura helped me create the perfect lip color that had just the right amount of red pop to it but not too much. I also switched my makeup up on her day of and picked different eye shadow colors from the trial and she handled it like a champ and I was so happy with the way everything came out. My 4 year old niece got her hair and makeup done and they were so patient with her and treated her like a princess. My sister and sister in law never wear makeup so they were really nervous getting it done and they both looked so natural and beautiful. I had the most fun morning getting ready with Laura and Erin. I wish I could do it all over again!!!!

Hair is HUGE in my family, and I knew we needed perfection on the big day. Erin & Laura did hair and make up for me (bride), mother of the bride, maid of honor, and 3 bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and throughout the reception we kept getting compliments about the bridal party's hair and make up. Erin & Laura were not only professional, but they were attentive to any questions and concerns I had throughout the planning process-- from me and my mom! They are both so kind, and it felt like I had two friends helping me get ready on the morning of. A wedding day can be stressful, but these two know what they're doing and I knew I was in good hands. Laura is a master of make up! I showed her a few inspiration photos and she was able to recreate them. She was also flexible, and made changes to help me look my best. I am SO happy I found The Artists for my wedding at the Beauport Hotel and I am so excited to write a positive review for them. Laura and Erin were incredible during the planning process and with creating the schedule for the morning of my wedding. I was so happy to find a team that did both makeup and hair, and they were able to accommodate my 13 person wedding party and keep us on schedule. Everyone looked beautiful but also like themselves. This was important to me as I didn't want too heavy of makeup, but wanted everyone to look natural and just elevated. I truly could not be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out. Special thanks to Lindsey who did an INCREDIBLE job on my hair, even when I brought new extensions that we did not have at the trial. Every time I look at a wedding photo I think how much I love my hair and that it lasted all night. I can’t thank the whole team enough and recommend them 100%!!

The Artists are amazing!! From step one, Erin was so helpful! I found her on a local wedding Facebook page. I checked out their simple but glam style online and was very interested in their work. I’m not one who wears a lot of makeup regularly or does many fancy things with my hair so I really appreciated their input at the trial. I brought in a few pictures I had saved from Pinterest searches and they really captured what I was looking for. On the big day, my hair and makeup looked exactly the same as at the trial! If you want to look and feel like a princess, they can make that happen in just a couple of hours! The whole bridal party had so many compliments on our hair and make up. Also, I was panicking because we were behind on time, what wedding isn’t, but Laura said something so perfect that really stuck with me ‘the wedding can’t happen without you so don’t panic, also we got this!’ They caught us up working quickly but without error. Planning a wedding across the country during a pandemic was not the easiest task. But luckily I found the artists. They were so helpful and flexible planning my hair and makeup trial, and they were a dream to work with the day of. Laura and Ashley were a dream team for my wedding. They did an incredible job with hair and make up for my mom, MIL, and wedding party. Erin was fantastic! She did all the hair and makeup for my bridal party and the moms for our Sept 2021 wedding. She was funny, yet professional and made us all look so stunning. She was very good about my group as well because we were curious individuals and would ask her a lot of general questions about hair and makeup and she was good about indulging us while also trying to keep on her timeline! These people were our favorite vendor during our wedding. They are fun, personable, and really REALLY great at what they do. The airbrush was lightweight and flawless - it’s not like having your face blasted with chalk dust like airbrush disasters I’ve had in the past. It was amazing! If you want a bring out your natural features, don’t look like you’re trying too hard, beautiful look for your wedding day you don’t need to look any further! They were phenomenal and would 100% book them again and again - and you should too!!!!!

I worked with The Artists for hair for my August wedding. We worked with Ayshleane (Ashley) and she was absolutely amazing. She was so fast and executed everyone's vision PERFECTLY. The Artists were fabulous- so lovely to work with and so flexible! I don't usually wear much makeup so I was nervous about choosing a hair and makeup stylist for my wedding. They were so great at making my vision come to fruition and they did not overdo it at all on the makeup. The whole bridal party looked stunning and we had tons of compliments. They were very efficient and relaxed on the day of and we did not feel rushed at all!

I cannot say enough positive things about Erin and Laura. They. Are. Fantastic. They're so polite and fun and made me look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. Erin is the stuff of legend. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. When we decided to cancel our formal, large wedding and scale way down to a small at-home ceremony, I knew Erin was the only person I'd want to do my hair and makeup, but obviously with the short notice was pretty sure I'd be totally out of luck. Erin got back to me right away that she was miraculously available and the wave of relief that came over me was unreal. Erin was able to do my hair + makeup for my minimized at-home wedding, as well has my mother, sister and mother-in-law with only three weeks notice. The term "life saver" doesn't begin to cover it because Erin is so much more than that. I really wanted to feel glam on my big day, but also still look like me. That is exactly what Erin did - she gave me the most beautiful braided updo of my dreams, and a face that was glam, but still very much me when I looked in the mirror. On top of it all, Erin is a delightful, funny, kind and professional person who was a joy to be around. She made everyone feel beautiful and comfortable. She kept us ahead of schedule and organized, something I had no idea I'd need so much of on the day, even with it being a much more scaled down event. Five stars doesn't feel like enough, so hopefully my words will convince you (though all you need is to look through their website and Instagram, their work speaks for itself!!). The Artists are the best out there, could not recommend them more!!

My bridal party and I were all thrilled with the way our hair and makeup came out, and the artists accommodated every single person's ideas, requests, etc. I can't say enough great things about this duo and their team!

We used The Artists Hair and Makeup as our hair and makeup group for our wedding in September 2019. This local business was easy to work with, professional, reasonably priced and they provided smooth service for our wedding day. I had several calls and emails with their team leading up to the big day to go over the details and my hair and makeup vision. They patiently answered all my questions and had no issue updating my order as I needed changes. My hair and makeup trial went great too. I had a pretty big group of girls to get done up including myself (the Bride), 5 bridesmaids, 3 junior Bridesmaids, flower girls, and several Moms, Aunts and cousins. With a large party, this group arrived early with a full team to ensure everyone got done-up in plenty of time for the wedding. Everyone’s hair and makeup came out beautifully and kept up well throughout the wedding. I would definitely recommend this vendor!

Erin and Laura were so much fun to work with. They made my bridesmaids, MIL and me look SO pretty day of the wedding. They were very easy to work with and if a look needed to be tweaked a little bit (ex: less eyeliner or bigger curls) they listened and were very accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone who needs hair and makeup!

Erin. Is. Amazing. She is a true master of her craft. I don’t get my hair done formally very often but in the past when I did, it never came out how I envisioned. But Erin always executed what I asked her to do perfectly, professionally, and unbelievably fast. The first time she did my hair, I genuinely yelled out “OH MY GOD, IT LOOKS SO GOOD”. And this is coming from someone who generally smiles painfully at my hairdresser after they cut my hair and show it to me. The day of the wedding, my hair was exactly as she had done it at the trial. It was secure and I never had to worry about it once. She also did the entire bridal party and we were ahead of schedule the whole time! Despite having a number of different lengths and textures of hair to work with on the fly, she wasn’t fazed at all - each time creating the requested style with ease. We had the best time with our 4 stylists and make-up artists for our larger sized bridal party at the Hellenic Center. My trials were perfect, and the Artists Hair + Makeup made me feel like the prettiest bride they'd ever seen, both during the trials and on my wedding day! They also dealt with younger, junior bridesmaids and 2 flowers girls with ease, and worked quickly to accommodate our many needs and changes to our plans ahead of time! Erin, Laura and their team did an amazing job with hair and makeup for myself, 9 bridesmaids and my mother. It was the hottest day of the year, yet the hair and makeup stayed put all day/night. They were super easy to work with and wanted to make sure we were happy. When my mom was initially not thrilled with her hair, Erin and Laura made sure to fix it and make her feel beautiful. She was super sweet and accommodating and was able to take care of me and my entire bridal party on short notice. I got married at the end of April 2019 and had started my search for H&MU in the fall of 2018. I was having a hard time finding someone for my wedding as I did not meet most minimum services at other places. After almost giving up, I searched one last time and found The Artists and sent them an email and I am so glad I did! They were so professional, prompt with inquires and other questions, and they were all so friendly! The best part, they traveled to me no problem and are a local business! The whole process from first inquiry to the wedding day was so easy and they relieved a lot of stress I felt during planning. I was assigned Lindsey, and when I met her at my trial I felt so calm and confident in her abilities. I showed her ideas I had, and she executed them perfectly. Being in their studio was so comfortable, and it was like we had all known each other for years. The day of, she arrived right on time and set up in my hotel room. The timeline was followed perfectly. She did my mother in law's makeup, my sisters makeup and my makeup, as well as my sisters hair and my hair. We all looked amazing and the makeup and hair photographed beautifully (and lasted all night). I LOVED the eyelashes she put on me, and I still get comments on how awesome they looked (and I wore glasses!) I felt like a movie star the day of my wedding. Hire them. You won't regret it.

I am so lucky to have found Laura and Erin for my wedding. Laura did mine, my bridesmaids, mother, mother in law and aunt’s makeup for my September wedding. Everything was flawless. Booking The Artists was one of the best decisions I made in our wedding planning process. After my original trial, I was so happy but wanted a more dramatic look. I cannot say enough good things about Erin and Laura. I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and the pictures came out amazing. All 5 of my bridesmaids said it was the best hair and makeup they've ever gotten (Erin and Laura did a variety of different looks for my bridesmaids and they all looked amazing). I wanted a natural look, but I also wanted to feel like the best version of myself. I did two trials to try out two different looks which was so fun! Laura achieved the perfect look for me! For my hair, I wanted something soft and romantic, that would stay in all night. Erin did the perfect low bun! Not only is this duo super talented, they are also so incredibly fun to be around. I had the pleasure of having Erin do my hair and make-up for my November wedding in Salem, MA. She was wonderful!! A total professional, great with communication ahead of time (including when I decided to last minute schedule a hair and make-up trial just two weeks before the wedding!), and so friendly. She also did the hair for my three bridesmaids. Erin listened to everything I wanted and was so easy to ta all to. I would recommend her a thousand times over!!! She really helped make my wedding day vision come to life!

Erin and Laura are amazing! I cannot recommend them enough. They did the hair and makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law for my wedding. It was a bit of a hike for them to get to our hotel from where they are based, but they still managed to get there early. They are super organized, and provided me with a schedule of the day beforehand, and despite the fact that there were eight of us we were finished early! They gave me exactly what I wanted, and I felt absolutely amazing all day. The pricing is reasonable, and they brought along an extra stylist at no charge. They are also just fun to be around, and we had a great time.

Erin & Laura are phenomenal! During my trial appointment, I knew I was in good hands. They truly listen to what you want and then exceed your expectations. They did hair & makeup for myself, my mom & my 4 bridesmaids at our wedding venue. Our hair & makeup lasted all night long, even into the wee hours of the morning! They were so prompt & organized, we even finished a bit before our scheduled time was up. Plus they are SO fun & engaging, we had a blast having our hair & makeup done by them! These two lovely ladies took care of me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, stepmom and flowergirl for my wedding on September 14th. They were AWESOME. I was complimented by several people throughout the day on my hair and makeup and even though I definitely ugly cried (out of happiness)multiple times between the first look and the ceremony my makeup stayed perfectly! My original makeup/hair artists fell through 7 weeks before my wedding and I was extremely nervous. I visited The Artists for a hair/makeup trial and had so much fun with Erin and Laura. We laughed and they made me feel very beautiful! I typically don't wear makeup so I was nervous to have a face full of airbrush, but Laura works wonders! My hair was perfect, Erin also works wonders! The Artists created a timeline for the day off and stuck to it! We were even earlier than the planned time! All bridesmaids and mothers felt beautiful - what else can you ask for? I cannot recommend The Artists highly enough - book them now! They truly are the fairy glam-mothers who make you feel beautiful!
