We are no longer monitoring messages through The Knot.*** House of Assembly Events offers two neighboring venue spaces located on San Marco Ave. including our newest building, The Assembly Room at Art ‘n Motion, and our barn venue, The Carriage House. These venues are family owned and operated, making your experience exclusive and personable. Wanting to bring a fresh new venue to “old town” St. Augustine, we developed an industrial-style brick building to both fit in and stand out in the nation’s oldest city. Art ‘n Motion is the host building for The Assembly Room events. Located just within the historic St. Augustine city entrance, this two-story brick building is an early 1900’s industrial-inspired masterpiece with modern amenities and features and impressive collection of rare and classic cars on display. The Assembly Room consists of four uniquely separated open rooms, outdoor terrace and an elegant bridal suite. The building can accommodate weddings ranging from 170 guests to intimate micro-weddings with 25 guests due to its unique layout.

The Assembly Room is a beautiful and unique space to host any event - our guests loved looking at the cars as they made their way around. However, Erin was the true highlight of the venue. When our original wedding venue was cancelled just 48 hours before the wedding, Erin jumped into action, coordinating with various vendors, and preparing the space to host our event. Her support was priceless, and she transformed the space effortlessly. We are so glad to have found both of her venues and to have worked with her to pull off an epic wedding weekend. Thank you so much!

We had our rehearsal dinner at The Assembly Room and it could not have been more perfect. It offers PLENTY of space, and you do not need much decor because the venue is absolutely beautiful. Erin does an amazing job making sure everything is set up exactly how you want & arranging vendors so that it is a stress free process. All of our guests were so impressed by the venue. The Assembly Room offers so many different great options for any event (small or large), and we are so happy we chose this venue for such a special night !

We are so glad we had our wedding at The Assembly Room at Art ‘n Motion. Erin was so helpful in building the perfect team to make our day so special. The venue is really dynamic and would be beautiful as a classic, rustic, or industrial wedding backdrop. I especially liked the the bridal suite to get ready in, the variety of spaces for our guests, and special decor available at the venue. Both me and my husband would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful venue. The best decision we made was to have our wedding in St. Augustine at Art N' Motion. The aesthetic reflected that St. Augustine charm which we love, with a modern twist. And the clean lines of the interior design allowed us to add our own personal touch to the decor without it being too much. We were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on site. And the House of Assembly team helped make the transitions flow smoothly from one room to the next. The museum cars were a great conversation starter for our guests and the venue was spacious but still warm and intimate enough to feel connected with everyone who came out for our special day. It was the perfect place to say I do.

Our wedding at The Assembly Room was above and beyond our biggest dreams! If you're considering this venue, here are some things, aside from it being a gorgeous venue, that we especially enjoyed: 1) You are able to completely transform the space into whatever style and vision you have. We selected the vendors we wanted and created our own vision and Erin and her team helped us to make it all happen. 2) Tons of parking! We got married on Nights of Lights and when most people thought it would be impossible, we could easily fit all of our guests' cars and the trolleys into their private parking lots. 3) There are so many different rooms and backdrops to have the different parts of your wedding flow nicely and unique backgrounds for beautiful and stylistic photos. And 4) most importantly, we were able to hold all of our family and friends and celebrate our wedding day just as we had visioned! Our guests still talk about how perfect of a venue it was for us and how even such a large space could feel so personal and intimate. Highly recommend!!
