ellent recommendations as I am not local to Houston. The rest of The Astorian team that I worked with once on-site was just as friendly, responsive and professional. I not only enjoyed working with them, I enjoyed just talking to them. It is clear that they all take pride in what they do, and in the beautiful space they have been entrusted with. When a VIP requested a specific bottle of wine 2 hours before the event, the beverage manager ran out to buy it for us. When one small issue did arise, Season handled it within literally 60 seconds, before I even had time for it to phase me. I can see why this is such an in-demand wedding venue, because it is absolutely stunning. Astorian Team, thank you for making me look so good!

One of the main reasons that I loved having our wedding at the Astorian, other than the beauty, was the Astorian employees that worked with us from start to finish. We booked our wedding back in December of 2017, and got married on January 19th. Alyssa was our point of contact, and she was amazing. She always took our ideas to the next level with her expertise in event planning and the space. We couldn't have come up with some of the ceremony and reception ideas without her. She was always professional, prompt, and super sweet. We feel so blessed to have worked with her! Last thing, we loved the ability to work with the team in customizing some of the packages to fit our needs for the wedding. Their patience with us was super commendable.

The actual venue was so pretty, and the bridal suite and grooms suites were great. I have nothing but great things to say!!

this a stunning reception venue. Our guests were amazed at the beautiful setting when they walked into the reception. Our experience working with Season Olds was top notch. Season was extremely knowledgable, responsive, patient, accommodating and reassuring. There was never any doubt we were in good hands and that our reception would be a huge success. We are forever grateful to Season and the entire staff at The Astorian for pulling together an amazing reception for my daughter's wedding!.

ip but the staff helped both the ceremony and reception go seamlessly. We had about 160 people at our wedding, the space was perfect and never felt too crowded or too large for that many people. Briana and Season were our wedding coordinators and were SO helpful, they technically were only day-of planners but we had several meetings leading up to the wedding and they offered great suggestions and made sure everything went smoothly leading up to and on the day of the wedding. I asked a million questions and they were so great at coordinating everything, offering tips on things that I would never even have thought about, and making sure everything was handled with the outside vendors. The venue itself offers so many great places to take pictures on the day of the wedding both indoors and out, and the location is great for people that live in the loop. The view of downtown, especially as the sun is setting, is so pretty, and the Edison lights once it's dark out look so chic. This was a beautiful place to get married, the staff made everything run so smoothly on the day of, and we and our guests had so much fun on the wedding day!

gorgeous venue I have ever been to and made for such a beautiful ceremony as well as an awesome reception. My friends/family are still taking about how cool this place was! Would also highly recommend booking coordinators through the Astorian. Alyssa and Season were ours and they were INCREDIBLE!!! Not one thing I would change about our experience at the Astorian.

The venue was flipped from an elegant ceremony setting to a gorgeous reception all while we took pictures and our guests enjoyed the lavish bar area! Deborah and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had. Even post wedding The Astorian staff continues to treat us like royalty.

ian. Not many places in central Houston can host a seated dinner for 350 guests and we were able to do just that at The Astorian without being crowded. The bar is huge and so great for guests to not get stuck in long, crowded lines. Easy access off I10. Our ceremony was 13 miles away and we got there in 20 minutes. The easiest decision my husband and I made in wedding planning. The first venue we saw and fell in love. Briana, our coordinator, was amazing and always helping with whatever our requests were. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. Love the Astorian and hope to have another party there!

al and groom suite which were both decorated very nicely, and were both large enough to accommodate the bridal party (7bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, hair dressers, makeup artists, and family) and then some comfortably. The decor was perfectly suited for our theme and we only needed to incorporate our colors. The pictures came out amazing as a result. The staff of the Astorian were extremely friendly and very pleasant to work with. At the end of our night everyone was having soooo much fun that they allowed us to extend our stay for an extra hour. If you’re considering wedding venues in Houston, the Astorian should definitely be at the top of your list! You will be very pleased, and I’m more than confident that they will far exceed your expectations as they did ours.

en it caught my eye on Instagram through an acquaintance’s wedding pictures. When my mother reached out to schedule a visit, they invited us to attend an open house so we could see the venue at night. The minute we walked in, I looked to my dad and fiancé to tell them the search was over! Season and Briana were our direct contacts at the Astorian, and I don’t know what we would have done without their help. Throughout the process, we had many questions to insure the day went smoothly, and they were always patient with us even with the endless questions. While planning the wedding, my mother and I decided to take advantage of their additional service as a Day of Wedding Coordinator. By purchasing this package, it included 3-4 planning meetings with a recap the week before the wedding with all of our vendors. Briana even came to my last fitting appointment to make sure she could handle the bustle of my dress. Season and Briana brought my vision to life while providing insightful tips on venue set up, preferred vendors, and details that are typically overlooked. Our wedding day went off without a hitch….actually it was PERFECT!! Briana and Season were great about keeping the timeline on schedule without making us feel rushed. They made sure Michael and I took a few minutes here and there to take in the day. Our guests are still talking about the venue atmosphere with the vintage feel, wrap around windows, and breath-taking skyline view of downtown. Their bar staff was amazing and each vendor recommendation lived up to the hype. I can understand why Cordua Catering and the Drywater Band were some of their top suggestions. Now as we look back on our wedding day, my husband and I feel the exact same way about The Astorian as we did from day one! The venue provided us with a unique atmosphere that just can’t be replicated. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

our friends. We went to a gala at The Astorian and we were hooked! The building is beautiful enough in itself and the view of downtown is spectacular. The crew working the events are organized, responsive, and will do whatever it takes to make it the event of your dreams. I will never forget the two bar managers with flashlights who held the train of my dress so we could walk across the roof to take photos in the skyline. They truly go above and beyond! If we were to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

t has a very classy great gatsby feel. As soon as I walked in the venue, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. We had our ceremony and reception here. The set up is incredible. It has a large room for the reception with gorgeous lights, high ceilings, stained concrete floors, columns and floor to ceiling windows with the Houston skyline in the background. I also absolutely loved the bar area. It was gorgeous with beautiful chandeliers and cool flooring. In addition to the place being so beautiful, the staff was wonderful to work with. Everyone on the staff was extremely warm and friendly and made planning a wedding a lot of fun. Deborah and Alexis were our venue coordinators and were wonderful to work with. Our wedding was better than we could have imagined it to have been. Love the Astorian and their staff.
