I’m a Kean alumni and knew that when my husband and I decided to renew our vows and have the wedding we couldn’t have when we married 7 years ago, that we would have it at Kean University. I was aware of the Liberty House for Wedding’s but had no idea that they also did weddings at the S.T.E.M building. When I saw it I knew it was perfect for my glam vintage wedding! Everyone at the wedding complimented me on my choice of venue. It really is a hidden gem. The grounds are perfectly manicured and great for pictures. We had our ceremony on the 6th floor terrace that has great views of the campus and it’s beautiful grounds. The Atrium has tall ceilings, staircase, and windows from ceiling to floor. I loved that it was a blank slate in which you can decorate as you please but also beautiful enough on its own. The event coordinator, Gina was great! Always there to answer questions, no matter how many I had. Very helpful throughout my planning process and the day of my wedding, I didn’t have to worry about anything on my day but enjoy myself. If you are looking for a non traditional venue you have to look into this one.

For our wedding, we really wanted to find a unique space that had a few different areas so that each stage of our event would have a new context. When we found the Atrium at STEM, ...
we were amazed at how many options we had. There’s an outdoor deck, a upstairs conference space, and downstairs a main floor with extremely tall glass windows that look out onto the campus, a spiral staircase from the second floor which we also used for some fun and games. Then, guest could also mingle outside on the well kept campus. Because we had a non traditional wedding and a unique theme (space) the Atrium was a fantastic option and the events coordinator Gina Lampasona was really invested in hearing about our ideas for our wedding and enthusiastic about having them come together and being able to support the kind of wedding we wanted. We found her extremely professional, handled vendors without us having to constantly check in, and kept us informed as time went on and our day was approaching. She was very accomodating when we needed some of our friends and family come into the space as they had offered to perform or setup services, like our own photo booth with a green screen. Our wedding was definitely outside the standard, but Gina treated it as an opportunity rather than an exercise in frustration. She has a pleasant demeanor and was present for the event as well, helping set things up while we focused on getting photos and getting married. The wedding photos came out tremendous because of the well kept campus and mulltiple areas we used to hold different portions of the wedding event. Of great value of us to mention is that the fee charged for the venue includes all furniture required for the event (excluding linens) and that Gina had also organized and set up all of our decorations. If you’re thinking of finding a truly unique space, I would highly recommend, whatever event it might be, to visit the Atrium at STEM and reference this review with Gina.

building. The pictures do not do it justice. We were looking for a budget wedding, a venue that had both indoor/outdoor options and enabled us to supply our own alcohol. Gina helped so much. She listened to what I wanted and executed. She really have great advice and was able to show and come up with great ideas. She also was great at helping me calm down as planning a wedding exciting as it is is quite stressful. My husband and I loved everything about our wedding. A lot of of friends got married close to when we did, and everyone is saying how they had a blast at ours and were blown away. They all asked where did we find such a great place. It truely was an amazing event

e it for our wedding. Its been 2 weeks since we got married & our guests are still talking about it.Please note that they have vendors & if you use your own caterer it costs an extra $1500. This is not a banquet hall type facility. There is no kitchen to prepare food but they do provide a room for that. Be prepared to rent everything from table linens to place settings, etc. I look at my pictures & I am stunned by the beauty of this venue along with up lighting & tables decorated with centerpieces. The outside terrace has an amazing view. I loved everything about my wedding & reception at the STEM bldg. Great job Gina!!
