Absolutely fantastic food and customer service, the pizzas are works of art. Sean and Maaren are amazing, they answered every question I had. Catering experience made easy, I never worried or had any concern that the dinner at my wedding was going to be anything less than the best. I am still getting compliments weeks later. The communication before, during and after my wedding was great. I am so glad to have had A Wandering Fire as part of my day!

If you're reading these reviews looking for a sign, this is it--this is the one. We literally could not have asked for a more beautiful place to be married, and if you're looking to have that fairytale moment, saying "I do" in front of your favorite people under a canopy of rustling leaves in the middle of the woods, you need look no further. The owners, Al and Lyndsey, were the most wonderful people to work with; they legitimately cared about making our wedding the best it could be, offering invaluable insight and assistance and streamlining many of the stressful, tedious things that weddings require. They went above and beyond in all things, and we know they'll take care of you, too--they're just those kind of people. The venue itself is amazing--a real piece of living art. We had an October wedding, and the colors alone were enough to awe our guests, but there are growing things everywhere (even inside the reception area), fairy lights in abundance, hand-crafted furniture.... Honestly, it was easy to see (and feel) how much love had gone into creating this space, and what more could you ask for in a place made to celebrate your love? We hired an in-house DJ for our event (one of those streamlined processes we mentioned), and he was absolutely wonderful! Shout-out to Asa for being one of the most down-to-earth, flexible, intuitive DJs we have encountered at any wedding; our guests had an absolute blast on the dance floor, and every song was a winner. Here's the deal: It would be so, so easy to continue to go on and on about how happy we were that we chose this magical place to be married at after 10 years of engagement, but, really, you should go see it yourself. Words will never do it justice, but we truly had the time of our lives.

Lyndsey, Al, and the rest of the staff at The Atrium were fantastic for our ceremony and our reception. Attention to detail was definitely there, everyone was very kind and helpful, and it felt like we had a wedding planner for everything (even though we didn't) because of how attentive they were to our wants and needs for the entire day. Would definitely recommend this venue for anyone's special day.

We cannot say enough good things about the The Atrium. Al & Lyndsey go above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for both couples and guests. There are so many places for photo opportunities, every nook and cranny has been thought through. Our guests were raving about how gorgeous the space was. This is by far the best wedding venue in the area!

The Atrium was the PERFECT place for our wedding. Not only it is an absolutely beautiful space, but Al & Lyndsey and their family/staff were amazing as well. Everyone was so kind and helpful. When we were looking for a wedding venue, we specifically wanted something outdoorsy and unique, and The Atrium fit the bill perfectly. We got SO MANY compliments on the venue from our guests! We decided to add on the Photo Booth (which was a hit!) as well as the DJ (which was AMAZING!). We cannot recommend this venue enough!

The Atrium was absolutely amazing to work with! We're beyond happy with our experience. Lyndsey and Al were as involved as we needed them to be. As someone who doesn't live in the area, they're advice and recommendation for other vendors was greatly appreciated! They helped coordinate things during the day so everything ran smoothly. The space itself is gorgeous. They also do an amazing job updating the venue throughout the off season. You can tell there's a lot of care put into the venue. Loved the overall easy going vibe of everything. I highly recommend the venue!

Al & Lyndsey made our day more perfect and magical than we ever could have imagined. The venue is more than gorgeous and has so many amazing spaces to spend the day. The spot is clean, beautiful, and has so many amazing features. We had the perfect day and loved every second spent at The Atrium!! I would book this venue a million times over. I could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married. We loved every second of the day and we owe a large part of that to Lyndsey and Al. The entire process was smooth from setting up a meeting to look at the venue, through the end of the night clean up on our wedding day. These incredible humans love what they do and are amazing at it. I would recommend the Atrium over and over and cannot say enough wonderful things about it.

If I could rate higher I would, The Atrium is beyond perfect. I don’t think words can really capture just how much we love this place. We never wanted our night to end! Lyndsey and Al are so amazing and you can really tell that they care about their venue and are passionate about making it an amazing place to get married. They work so hard and have so many hand crafted projects they are always working on making it an even more special and magical place to be. It’s just gorgeous there but also so unique it will make your wedding feel personal without you even having to decorate at all. They are so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, host open houses for couples to try out different vendors, set up decor for a trial run, etc… they really do it all before and during your wedding and all with the biggest smiles on their faces! (: We feel so lucky we were able to have our special day at The Atrium! I could go on and on about how phenomenal this venue is I don’t think it could fit in one review! This was the only venue my husband and I looked at and right when I met Lyndsey I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. Al and Lyndsey made our day so easy and really helped us have the wedding of our dreams! They were there every step of the way and had everything so organized! They helped with set up and take down of our decor and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the day. Al and Lyndsey are 2 of the kindest people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Between the hard work that they both do to continuously update the space, communicate with their couples, and keeping everyone happy on their special day, I swear to God there's nothing they can't accomplish. The space is beautiful beyond words. The outdoor ceremony site sits under a canopy of trees and leaves from the surrounding forest. The small clearing hidden behind the ceremony site is incredible for photo ops. The indoor site is in one of the renovated greenhouses on the land, and it adds so much natural beauty and charm to the space. Plus, knowing that I had the ability to switch to the greenhouse in case it rained gave me so much relief when booking this place. The bridal and groom suites are roomy and comfortable. The Atrium structure itself is beautifully decorated already with vines growing up the walls, overhanging lighting, and handmade tables. Yes, Al built all the tables. The bartenders were so kind to all of my guests, and we were offered a variety of beverage choices that we could order for the night. Having the fire pit available and a small corn hole game set up is so Midwestern, and I loved it. Overall this place would be perfect for anyone's special day, and I encourage people to continue to support this venue and the people who run it. My wedding and reception wouldn't have gone nearly as well had we went somewhere else. Al and Lyndsey are both great communicators, and are willing to work with couples and families to truly make someone's wedding the best it can be. 5 stars, 10/10, would strongly recommend!

The Atrium was everything we wanted and more when it came to our wedding venue! It was the first and only place my husband and I looked at, and we fell in love with it immediately. From the whimsical ceremony space in the woods, to the beautiful indoor spaces for the reception and getting ready (not to mention an equally beautiful indoor ceremony space as well), The Atrium was an absolute dream. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it all was! And, if the beauty of the space was not enough, The Atrium also comes with Lyndsey and Al who are absolutely amazing and some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met (as well as a couple of other staff who are equally as amazing and friendly). Lyndsey and Al were there with us from day one, offering to help in any way they could, which took a lot of pressure away from the planning process of our wedding. They are fantastic at communicating, checking in on us several times during the months that led up to the wedding and keeping us up to date with everything that was happening (changes, updates with the space, etc.). They really take the time to get to know the two of you as a couple and what you want for your special day. It felt like we were working with close friends the entire time, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. There is so much we loved about our wedding day, and we attribute a lot of that to The Atrium. I do not think we would have had the same experience had we picked a different venue. I will, for sure, be recommending The Atrium to every engaged couple I know and absolutely cannot wait for an opportunity to return.

Al and Lyndsey really feel like family to us now! They took care of EVERYTHING day of during the ceremony, were always around but in the background so you couldn’t tell, and made us feel so loved. From their daughter taking us to the ceremony in a golf cart to Al making sure at the end of the night we got everything we wanted, I just can’t recommend this place more. And the venue is GORGEOUS! Even the candid iPhone pictures had a beautiful background. Everyone at our wedding kept commenting on how breath taking it all was. I cannot. CANNOT. recommend this wedding venue enough ❤️

We could not have asked for a better experience with this venue and the owners to celebrate our day! Lyndsey and Al are the absolute best and work so hard to make the planning process and day of go smoothly. They want to make your vision a reality! The outdoor ceremony site is stunning and you can tell they put a lot of love and sweat into the space as a whole to make it a perfect setting. Oh my gosh, I could not say enough good things about Al and Lyndsey and The Atrium. The reception area, both ceremony options, the bridal suite, and the grounds are STUNNING. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous every single space was. It's very boho/outdoorsy/romantic/fairy-esque... basically the most dreamy wedding space ever! I was in constant communication with Lyndsey. If I had a question, she would get back to me within hours, and was always so kind and detailed in her responses. On the day of the wedding we had some chancy weather, and I was able to talk to Al multiple times throughout, even changing my ceremony site about 30 minutes prior to start time. He was always available to answer questions, drive me around in the golf cart (lol), and even held my engagement ring for me during the ceremony when my poor heat-swollen fingers just would not allow it to go on my right hand! There is not one single thing we would change about our experience at The Atrium. They truly made us feel so comfortable, prepared, heard, and overall loved. You will NOT REGRET experiencing this magical venue and the absolutely amazing people in Al and Lyndsey who will make your day everything you could have ever dreamed of and more!

My husband and I got married August 12, 2022 and I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect venue! Al and Lyndsey have made this repurposed greenhouse into the perfect wedding venue! We can’t recommend The Atrium enough for a wedding venue! Our day was more than we could have ever dreamed of and we owe that to Al and Lyndsey! They went above and beyond to make everything perfect in leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself! Also, if you are considering the froze I highly recommend, it was fabulous and perfect for a summer day!

My husband and I had our ceremony on October 7th, 2022. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place! Not only are Al and Lyndsey a warm and welcoming couple, but they have created a beautiful and intimate space that feels like no place on earth. They are helpful and flexible, have great vendors to offer and are great at communicating. We were allowed so much freedom to make the space our own and feel truly comfortable. 10/10 will recommend them to everyone.

My husband and I had our wedding celebration at the Atrium on 6/25/2022, and it was the most amazing and magical experience! Lyndsey and Al are so incredibly kind, brilliant, and resourceful, and we are so thankful for their experience, hard work, and for the beautiful space they have cultivated! Lyndsey and Al were great to work with throughout the planning process, and we appreciated their ideas as they helped us turn our dreams into a reality! They were very supportive on the day of the wedding, helping to ensure everything was in place and that the day was running smoothly (along with our wedding coordinator and other vendors!). They have thought through every detail and scenario, and we loved the intentional and handmade details - from the lovely outdoor ceremony benches and arch, to the beautiful reception tables in the Atrium, to the charming ferns and gardens around the property! There is beauty everywhere you look at the Atrium! Our family and friends haven't stopped raving about how wonderful the celebration was - and how special this venue and it's owners are! Lyndsey and Al are the secret sauce - and the venue would not be the same without them and their dedication to providing an outstanding wedding experience. The only negative is that our wedding is over and that we can't rate over 5 stars, but we hope to have friends get married here in the future! We recommend this venue to every couple who wants a beautiful outdoor / indoor experience!

Lyndsey and Al held our hands through the exciting process of wedding planning for 2.5 years! They are honest people and truly pour their hearts into their business. Although we were a laid back bride and groom, the sky is the limit with your ideas for your day of. They make miracles happen. Unfortunately, we only get married once… otherwise I’d say we’d be right back! Ha! Our day was 15/10. They were supportive, had amazing communication- always punctual with response times. I took the opportunity to go to as many wedding open houses at The Atrium, it became a place of comfort to write my vows. If I could give this venue 1,000 stars I would. The most beautiful wedding venue ever!!!! We fell in love with the venue at one their open house events and fell even more in love our wedding day once we saw it decorated with our colors. We had soo many guests come up to us saying “how did you find this place?!” Truly ever detail is amazing. Not only is the venue perfect but Al & Lyndsey make everything sooooo easy. Their staff was so fun & nice. I wish I had more words to say, but all I can think of how perfect it was! If you want the most amazing day…. Book here!!!! This venue, and the owners Al and Lyndsay made our wedding day truly the best day of our lives. They go above and beyond to provide the most magical, beautiful space to celebrate, and they are so easy to work with. This was a destination for our guests, and so many of them said it was well worth the trip as the venue and surrounding area is so beautiful. Truly couldn’t recommend them more!

This venue is the most incredible place I have ever been. We had our wedding on 8/27/2022 here. It truly was magical. Al and Lyndsey make everything go seemlessly. My guests ranted and raved about the space and how much work I put into everything which was hilarious because I minimalized everything! The space is so beautiful that it barely needs anything! Couldn't have picked a better place. My new favorite thing is a little painting Al painted of the venue and they gifted to us. The most special wedding gift.

200% recommend!! The Atrium is absolutely gorgeous from the bridal suite to the outdoor ceremony area to the courtyard and the conservatory and of course The Atrium itself! I can’t begin to explain how perfect this venue was for our wedding! Al & Lyndsey are the most thoughtful people who will do anything possible to make your special day absolutely perfect. Every aspect of this venue (outdoor/indoor ceremony, getting ready rooms, reception area) is breathtaking and exactly what we wanted! I would rate my experience a 15/10 and HIGHLY recommend booking a wedding here. The Atrium is the BEST. I would say 10/10 stars. Lyndsey and Al are amazing!!! They put their heart and soul in making your day perfect. They are always thinking about how to make their venue better. The woodwork and flowers on the location is beautiful. Not only is the location BEAUTIFUL, it has an outdoor and indoor location to have your ceremony. And a wonderful bonus is that we were able to have our fur babies in our wedding. They are quick responders to messages and always friendly and helpful. I don't use this word a lot, but our wedding day was perfect. The Atrium did an amazing job with making that happen. They have a lot of knowledge about weddings and recommendations too, with how to make your day awesome. Love this place and so happy we chose it.

WOW I am SO glad we picked the Atrium as our wedding venue. I could not imagine getting married anywhere else. Not only did it perfectly fit our vision- ceremony space in the woods, indoor/outdoor reception on site, beautiful getting ready rooms- but Al and Lyndsey were also amazing to work with. They were there every step of the way to help and answer any questions I had. They were also so helpful on the day-of, everything ran very smoothly. What a flawless wedding venue. Lyndsey and Al were not only the owners of this venue but they are your complete wedding assistants. They are amazing! From day one, they were so helpful, excited for our kids and engaged. Thank you both for an amazing wedding experience for our children.

During the day of set up, Al and Lyndsey were so helpful! I had a very much so DIY wedding and they jumped right in with my family to help set up our wedding with 200 guests. We had a ton of work to do to and they even got up on ladders to hang decor in the rafters! Their venue was beautiful and I want to get married there every weekend!

Lindsey and Al at the atrium in Solon Wisconsin go over and beyond all measures to me a perfect wedding plan become more than that for the couple! The atrium is simply the MOST beautiful wedding venue around. Lindsey’s calm and funny attitude and care shows right through her smile! Our pictures she captured, captured true moments my husband I can can true my cherish for the rest of our lives. Al went above and beyond in helping and being sure I had all I needed for my little 8year old and entertained him when we were doing pictures, before and after, engaging and playing with him to keep him upbeat and engaged in what was happening all around! There was no stressor before, during or after as I had full confidence Lyndsey and Al were making sure everything flowed. We had an unusual wedding them. I am a city girl and my husband a hunting country boy. So we came up with a “The Hint Is Over” camo style wedding. Lyndsey stayed in contact for over a year helping me plan what I might think that would look like. I would call or email an ideas we had or pictures we found on how we wanted the decorations going up and where. In reception hall as well as how I wanted to walk down the isle. Al even made sure that my elderly or disable family could come and get back to the woods where we married by way of golf cart (which my little one loved the roses so much!) both there and back the long and beautiful yard leading back into the woods. Lyndsey did so well with pictures I literally didn’t not see her even capturing some of the MOST precious pictures of the wedding parts and yet each and every pictures is a master piece! Our wedding was a complete success beyond my wildest camo adventure imagination! The reception hall was decorated just as my mind imagined it would be and more! The yard outside was fun. Clean. And the fire pit was always full of gathered friends and family around it. Al made sure the fire kept going! The bridal suite was HUGE and had everything a bride could possibly need plus a back door that lead out to a beautiful running pond for some peace of mind prior to our “sneak peak” where my little one and I got gold carted out into the woods for my husband to get his first glance with me and me of him just prior to us actually walking down the isle! It was nothing we will EVER forget! Our pictures show every moment id wish to remember and more. At the reception tables were cared for and the bar always stocked. Every worker kind and accommodating. I cannot state enough that if you are reading this and are looking for an inside or like is an outside wedding the Atrium is where you need to book and Lyndsey Johnson is who you need to call! You won’t regret any part of the planning a wedding or having the dream unfold to the MOST PERFECT EXPERIENCE A BRIDE OR GROOM could have. Ever! The relationship that bloomed in support and kindness began at our walk through to see the place! As soon as I got out of our vehicle and we’re met by Lyndsey, I KNEW them and there I needed my unusual camo colors and style hunting wedding with her and her husband! She also came to our land for outside engagement pictures which everyone is STILL in aw over the ability she has to use natural lighting and catch moments we didn’t even know she caught. Thank you Lyndsey for making my every dream and my husbands wedding come true!

The Atrium was a dream come true! It was absolutely perfect. Lyndsey and Al were great with communication, preparation, and being available throughout the day. We chose the forest ceremony option and we couldn't have been happier. All of our guests as well couldn't stop telling us how wonderful The Atrium was.

The Atrium is the most unique, reasonable, and fun wedding venue. We were truly able to make it our own. The owners are beyond helpful. Everyone had a blast!

We absolutely loved working with Al and Lyndsey (the owners), who were previously wedding photographers that decided to start their own venue. You can tell they have an eye for aesthetics, but also practicality and are some of the easiest people to work with. They both were super easy to communicate with, answering all of our questions/concerns and even giving advice when needed! They worked throughout the day to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible The greenhouse they converted for the reception is gorgeous but well ventilated so it doesn't heat up. They even plan ahead for warmer days with fans to keep a nice airflow. It has a courtyard right outside the reception area that is wonderful for cocktail hour and yard games. The ceremony site has a tree canopy that keeps the area shaded and cool on the hot days, and only a small walk from the reception area. In the case of rain, they have a backup site within a different part of the green house that is debatably just as beautiful as the outdoor one. They own several acres surrounding the immediate area that has flower fields, woods, and other places for great photo opportunities. I recommend at minimum giving this place a visit to give it the justice photos simply can't.

Truly could write a 10 page paper about how amazing this venue and the owners are!! The outdoor ceremony site and greenery vibes sold me on this venue and everything that came afterwards was a dream. If you are looking for an all in one package for ceremony and reception- this place is for you! From the stellar communication leading up the wedding, the day of organizing, helping, and ensuring everything went smoothly, to the teardown- Al and Lyndsey were present and ensuring our day was nothing less than perfect. The space itself is immaculate- the bridal suite was spacious, plenty of mirrors, and great lighting. The men hang out/getting area was great too. The property is huge with endless options for pictures including beautiful fields (best golden hour photos!) and woodsy outdoor areas to indoor spots in the various greenhouses. There are two ceremony options- an outdoor area in the woods and a back up option indoors for bad weather to give you peace of mind. While waiting for the reception, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour in the courtyard with beautiful flowers and greenery and room for yard games/etc. The reception site was perfect- spacious for 200 guests and had a large dance floor without having to shuffle guests and tables around. You are able to pick your own food vendor which I appreciated so there's room for personalization here. They supply the bar/staff and had a variety of options for everyone. After the wedding, Al and Lyndsey checked in for feedback on improvement and it is extremely evident they truly want to give couples the best experience. Overall, The Atrium well exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend them enough!!

Our wedding at The Atrium on June 11, 2021 was magical! ✨✨✨ The storm stayed away and we had beautiful sun all day! The outdoor ceremony site in the woods was a dream! They have an indoor site as well that is honestly just as beautiful!! And I can’t say enough about the gorgeous reception site, perfect size and location and so beautiful!! They also have amazing rooms for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready separately, new amazing bathrooms, a huge parking lot, a perfect little court yard for games, and sooo many nature spots for photos. It was so nice to be able to spend the whole day there and not have to drive to multiple different locations. And we stayed at the hotel in town, which is literally just down the road. I am so so happy and grateful that we got to have our big day at The Atrium! I highly recommend this place for your wedding!

This place EXUDES magic! The careful planning by the owners along with their ability to give wonderful and accountable customer service makes this place a "no brainer" to have a wedding or event at.
