Thanks for stopping in! Let us tell you about this special place. The Atrium is a repurposed greenhouse wedding venue located way up north in the woods of Solon Springs, WI. This space is ideal for you if you crave a carefree, easy-going atmosphere where butterflies and birds plan to join you during your ceremony. Quite literally, the sights and sounds of nature envelop you and your guests as you are under a canopy of oak and maple trees. Situated on 32 acres of forests, including a mile of nature trails and wildflower fields, this unique venue exceeds the dreams of the most creative couples looking to throw a party their guests have never experienced. We, the owners Al and Lyndsey, are both retired wedding photographers who understood the mission, create something we never experienced while shooting over 450 weddings.
The property consists of ever growing wild, native gardens, rows of pine trees, a natural northern WI woods, paths and fresh air. All of this surrounding a large, clear greenhouse perfect for dinner and dancing. There is a second greenhouse used as your backup ceremony space where your guests sit under a canopy of wisteria and where photographers LOVE to shoot. Your guests will feel the magic of the courtyard during social hour mingling and lounging late into the evening. The whimsical gardens are dotted with outdoor tables and chairs, and at night, the furniture is illuminated by the endless fairy lights that hang overhead. A retreat from the urban world, Atrium weddings are surrounded by the great outdoors and your guests will feel the love from mother nature. The venue itself can host up to 200 guests and has rooms on-site for the wedding party to get ready in two spacious suites.
The Atrium hopes to ensure that your wedding day is perfect! The staff here have developed extensive connections and relationships with the very best vendors to ensure that you can live out your dream wedding. The venue is open May - October. Specific add-ons such as a photo booth or the in house decor package, can all be arranged in advance for some extra fun.

Lyndsey truly care and love what they do, they are continuously working on the venue to make it better and better every wedding season. Lyndsey is super easy to communicate with and so sweet! You even get the option to visit the venue in spring and fall to practice table layouts and see venue before your big day. Al and Lyndsey are extremely flexible and really wanted your wedding to be perfect and the way you want it. I would choose these two to work with and venue over and over again.

As gorgeous as the venue is, what truly set our experience apart were the owners, Lyndsey and Al. When my husband and I toured for the first time, we looked at each other and just knew this was the place. From that day on, they were nothing short of incredible. They provided us with a detailed guide of recommended vendors, answered every question quickly and thoroughly, and were so kind and accommodating every step of the way. Their warmth and professionalism are unlike anything we experienced when touring other venues.
On our wedding day, they went above and beyond. Lyndsey and Al were attentive, present, and so helpful. They spent the day making sure every venue detail was taken care of so we could be fully in the moment. We felt supported, cared for, and genuinely celebrated.

I couldn’t say more about how amazing Lyndsey and Al were to work with. They made the planning process and day of our wedding seamless and stress free. Truly two of the nicest people and it is very apparent how much they put into their venue and weddings!
We fell in love with the ceremony space in the woods the first time we visited. They knew if possible this was where we wanted our ceremony to be held. Despite the heavy rain in the morning and a light drizzle just prior to ceremony time… they made it possible for us to get married outside!
Again the Atrium is absolutely breathtaking and amazing!!!

After booking with The Atrium, Lyndsey sent us an information packet, web link to a specific site for our wedding planning, and was always quick to respond to any and all questions I may have had. She checked in multiple times about planning and updates, catered to my families questions and last minute details, as well as supported all the outside vendors I brought in. I couldn’t have imagined a nicer, more beautiful and fun place to marry my “schnookums”. If I could do it again, it would just to be to spend time with Lyndsey and Al as they just shine in the fun and creative atmosphere they created. pace almost transports you to a different world with all of it lush and green plants. The site is massive. Honestly, I was surprised when I got the quote as I would've imagined it to be alot more expensive than it is. The owners, Lindsey and Al, were hands-on throughout the entire event, ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made the planning process smooth and stress-free. They were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had leading up to the big day, and their presence and support during the event itself made all the difference.
The Atrium is a breathtaking space that requires very little additional décor thanks to its natural beauty and thoughtful design. One of the highlights for our wedding party was having access to a private suite to get ready and relax before the festivities began—such a thoughtful touch that made everyone feel comfortable and cared for.
Between the stunning venue and the exceptional service from Lindsey and Al, our daughter’s wedding was everything we hoped it would be—and more. We are so grateful for the memories made at The Atrium and would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or special event.

and that's putting it lightly. Every corner is a place for pictures.
The help through the process was easy - they offer so much internally ( extra loud shout out to the in house DJ Tyler he was first class as well) . We paid for the set up /take down service as well and that made my day so smooth.
We also had a family emergency occur and that was taken care of with grace and care.
Not one complaint at all. After all the searching for vendors we did no one came close in transparency and what they offered- if your looking go to one of their open houses with a deposit ready you'll wanna grab a date.

our wedding day perfect. They were not only kind and professional but truly helpful every step of the way.
During the planning process, they sent us a massive, detailed packet filled with everything we could possibly need, including amazing vendor recommendations. I honestly can’t overstate how helpful that was. Thanks to their guidance, we found fantastic vendors that made our day even more special.
Al and Lyndsey were always so easy to reach, quick to answer any questions, and ready to help with whatever we needed. From setting up 200 chairs inside just in case of rain to driving my grandma around in a golf cart, they truly cared about every detail. Al even helped fluff my dress right before I walked down the aisle.
Both Al and Lyndsey have a background as wedding photographers and it shows. Every corner of The Atrium is thoughtfully designed to be beautiful and picture-perfect, which made our photos absolutely stunning.
Their in-house DJ, Asa, was incredible as well. He was kind, professional, easy to work with, and kept the energy high all night. Our guests were thoroughly impressed!
Our family and friends couldn’t stop raving about The Atrium and honestly, neither could we. We traveled all the way from Chicago, a 7-hour drive, and it was so worth it. If any of our guests chatted with Al and Lyndsey during the evening, they would always come back to tell us how amazing they were.
We wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding day and we highly, highly recommend The Atrium to anyone near or far looking for the perfect venue.

have had so many compliments from guests about how lovely the atmosphere was. Everything planning-wise was so smooth. Al and Lindsay were very on top of keeping the process organized and were more than willing to help with vendor recommendations, unique ideas, and final touches to the day. We used the in-house DJ and he was awesome- we had a wonderful dance and he was very helpful in directing the order of events at the reception. and was due to deliver two weeks after our wedding. We had asked Al and Lyndsey if there were any dates the following summer that were open. They were more than willing to accommodate for us and gave us several options. We got married on June 7th, 2024 and it was such a wonderful day. We arrived to the Atrium with a trailer full of decor and all our friends and family ready to get the space set up for the evening. Our table lay out was already in place and all the decor we rented set out for us to put into place. Throughout the day there were many times Al and Lyndsey stepped in to help figure out decor setbacks; we needed weights on the table seating sign, Al and my mom set up a welcome sign in the woods for guests to see when arriving to the ceremony. They couldn't find something suitable right away so Al went and go his drill and hung it from a tree for us. There were other details so small, like making sure all our LED candles were on before guests arrived to the social hour, and helping move our backdrop from the ceremony space to behind the head table after the ceremony. Al and Lyndsey take such care of this place it is absolutely breathtaking. The getting ready areas are spacious and serene and set a calming space to settle any nerves. The ceremony sites are both absolutely gorgeous. The reception area is like no other. On top of a beautiful space, Al and Lyndsey had great staff working the bar and the photobooth (which was a hit! I love looking at all of the pictures!). The DJ package and sound system were offered and it was a relief to have that taken care of for us and to not have to worry about paying another vendor. We worked with Brad Glassmaker and he was great. He lived locally and was able to meet us in the morning for a quick run through and everything was absolutely perfect come ceremony time. Al and Lyndsey really know how to make your day magical, it was the best day because I got to marry my wonderful husband, but they really were the cherry on top.

I was worried about heat, being the reception area used to be a greenhouse, but they have plenty of fans and the breeze comes through nicely. For someone who gets hot easily, it was not a problem at all! There is AC in the getting ready areas as well. Al and Lyndsey put so much love and attention into their venue. They even asked us, before we had officially booked, what our thoughts and opinions were on some upgrades they were doing. You can tell they really care about their couples and what they want/need. The day was so smooth and they played a huge part in that!

to have that fairytale moment, saying "I do" in front of your favorite people under a canopy of rustling leaves in the middle of the woods, you need look no further.
The owners, Al and Lyndsey, were the most wonderful people to work with; they legitimately cared about making our wedding the best it could be, offering invaluable insight and assistance and streamlining many of the stressful, tedious things that weddings require. They went above and beyond in all things, and we know they'll take care of you, too--they're just those kind of people.
The venue itself is amazing--a real piece of living art. We had an October wedding, and the colors alone were enough to awe our guests, but there are growing things everywhere (even inside the reception area), fairy lights in abundance, hand-crafted furniture.... Honestly, it was easy to see (and feel) how much love had gone into creating this space, and what more could you ask for in a place made to celebrate your love?
We hired an in-house DJ for our event (one of those streamlined processes we mentioned), and he was absolutely wonderful! Shout-out to Asa for being one of the most down-to-earth, flexible, intuitive DJs we have encountered at any wedding; our guests had an absolute blast on the dance floor, and every song was a winner.
Here's the deal: It would be so, so easy to continue to go on and on about how happy we were that we chose this magical place to be married at after 10 years of engagement, but, really, you should go see it yourself. Words will never do it justice, but we truly had the time of our lives.

Lyndsey and Al went above and beyond to accommodate and support both of us on the wedding day to ensure we had everything we needed + more. Al even provided a golf cart for us to ride around in when moving to and from the ceremony to the reception space. atural beauty to this place but you can also tell that Lyndsey & Al put their whole hearts into constant new projects to keep it looking stunning.
The communication throughout the whole booking process was so great. Replies were almost always instant if not, within 24 hours.
The day of the wedding I didn’t feel there was a single thing to worry about. They were so helpful throughout the whole day. They kept in communication and helped out with so much.
All of the little details are so well thought out. Set up/take down was super easy with their package they offer. They helped keep us running on time throughout the night by checking in. The girls all got to ride a golf cart down to the ceremony space. Lyndsey even made sure to fluff my dress and veil before I walked down the aisle🫶🏼
The bridal suite is such a nice big space for getting ready. The grooms suite was the perfect set up to keep them entertained for the morning and during picture downtime.
Our guests constantly told us how stunning the venue was. Multiple people even asked us if it was okay if they had their own wedding there (of course we said yes!) I would recommend this venue 1000x over again!! There is so many great things to say about the owners/employees and venue itself.
I wish I had more photos to share. I couldn’t wait for our whole gallery to come back before giving an awesome review! The team at the atrium was so so genuine, and helpful. You can truly tell that they all love what they do here.

The space itself is so beautiful. If you are imagining a woodsy but beautiful space, this is it! The getting-ready space for both bride and groom is stunning! They are workable spaces that feel restful amidst the nerves of the day. I wanted to feel like I was in the woods without losing elegance, and I got that with The Atrium. There two sites for a ceremony are very helpful! We thought it would rain all day, so they set up the inside space for us. When it didn't, they took that space down and helped us to get married in their dreamy outdoor space! Either way, both spaces are charming and a beautiful place to say "I do!" I feel so blessed to have gotten married in such a perfect space.

Al are so amazing and you can really tell that they care about their venue and are passionate about making it an amazing place to get married. They work so hard and have so many hand crafted projects they are always working on making it an even more special and magical place to be. It’s just gorgeous there but also so unique it will make your wedding feel personal without you even having to decorate at all. They are so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, host open houses for couples to try out different vendors, set up decor for a trial run, etc… they really do it all before and during your wedding and all with the biggest smiles on their faces! Al and Lyndsey are absolutely the best. Our family is from Minnesota, but my husband and I are currently residing in Florida, and even from 1500 miles away, Al and Lyndsey were so helpful with every step of wedding planning. With communication I appreciated how sincere each message was. Sometimes with vendors you get super generic responses, but each message I received from Al and Lyndsey was detailed and specifically curated for our wedding.
On our wedding day we had a last minute rain storm come in, and we had to make the last minute switch to an indoor ceremony site. Even though it was not what we were planning, Al and Lyndsey were all hands on deck making sure the indoor site was absolute perfect for us.. even down to helping open the doors for us to walk down the aisle at the perfect moment in each of our songs.
Overall, the venue was so unique, so beautiful, and made our day so so special. We had so many comments from our guests raving about how "us" the space was.
One of my favorite parts was the personalization of the space. This is one of those spaces where you could literally do as much, or as little as you wanted.. and it would look amazing either way. The venue already looks incredible, and decor honestly isn't needed. Everything you choose to bring just makes the space a little more "you" but nothing is truly required to make it beautiful.
The bridal suite was beautiful and the guys suite was so unique and fun. It didn't matter where we were in the venue, every picture turned out so amazing.
The only downside to this venue is the proximity to hotels. We choose to stay in Duluth and hire a bus to shuttle guests, and it worked super well. I know there more airbnb's are starting to be available in the area, so I can only imagine it is going to get easier and easier to find places to stay over time.
The best people.. and an amazing space.

with their couples, and keeping everyone happy on their special day, I swear to God there's nothing they can't accomplish. The space is beautiful beyond words. The outdoor ceremony site sits under a canopy of trees and leaves from the surrounding forest. The small clearing hidden behind the ceremony site is incredible for photo ops. The indoor site is in one of the renovated greenhouses on the land, and it adds so much natural beauty and charm to the space. Plus, knowing that I had the ability to switch to the greenhouse in case it rained gave me so much relief when booking this place. The bridal and groom suites are roomy and comfortable. The Atrium structure itself is beautifully decorated already with vines growing up the walls, overhanging lighting, and handmade tables. Yes, Al built all the tables. The bartenders were so kind to all of my guests, and we were offered a variety of beverage choices that we could order for the night. Having the fire pit available and a small corn hole game set up is so Midwestern, and I loved it.
Overall this place would be perfect for anyone's special day, and I encourage people to continue to support this venue and the people who run it. My wedding and reception wouldn't have gone nearly as well had we went somewhere else. Al and Lyndsey are both great communicators, and are willing to work with couples and families to truly make someone's wedding the best it can be.
5 stars, 10/10, would strongly recommend!

The Atrium was everything we wanted and more when it came to our wedding venue! It was the first and only place my husband and I looked at, and we fell in love with it immediately....
From the whimsical ceremony space in the woods, to the beautiful indoor spaces for the reception and getting ready (not to mention an equally beautiful indoor ceremony space as well), The Atrium was an absolute dream. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it all was!
And, if the beauty of the space was not enough, The Atrium also comes with Lyndsey and Al who are absolutely amazing and some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met (as well as a couple of other staff who are equally as amazing and friendly). Lyndsey and Al were there with us from day one, offering to help in any way they could, which took a lot of pressure away from the planning process of our wedding. They are fantastic at communicating, checking in on us several times during the months that led up to the wedding and keeping us up to date with everything that was happening (changes, updates with the space, etc.). They really take the time to get to know the two of you as a couple and what you want for your special day. It felt like we were working with close friends the entire time, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them.
There is so much we loved about our wedding day, and we attribute a lot of that to The Atrium. I do not think we would have had the same experience had we picked a different venue. I will, for sure, be recommending The Atrium to every engaged couple I know and absolutely cannot wait for an opportunity to return.

We first found The Atrium in 2019. We had to put planning on hold, which was not the worst given what followed in 2020. Spring 2...
021 came around and we began planning again! We emailed The Atrium on the previous messaging chain as before and got a response back that day. We of course put a deposit down as soon as we could because we knew that this was the only place that we wanted to get married.
The Atrium is beyond expectation. We toured this venue first back in 2019 and met the owners, one of their daughters, and their beautiful pup. It was the warmest, family filled environment which made us feel right at home. The owners, Al and Lyndsey have this way about them that bring happy and calm to the entire experience. They are the literal BEST!
They are constantly finding ways to make this venue more beautiful, even when you wouldn't think it possible because it is already perfect! The wedding guide they provides help in ways one would not expect. It is so easy to use and has lists of vendors that have been previously successful and enjoyable at the venue.
From food trucks to plated dinners.. from pies and cakes to ice cream carts, this venue can house it all. The atmosphere is colorful, inviting, and not only will you fall in love with it, your guests will too!!
The venue is dynamic for ceremony options. From the whimsical wooded are with hand crafted benches to the conservatory with the most beautiful vines and backdrop, you will not be disappointed if the weather is not what you thought it would be. They have thought of it all. The bridal suite and groom's area are spectacular as well!
All day from the very start, we were told that this was the best/most beautiful venue that our guests and vendors had ever been to! For those who had been to weddings here previously were SO excited that they had an opportunity to come back and now we cannot wait for our next opportunity to return.

I was in constant communication with Lyndsey. If I had a question, she would get back to me within hours, and was always so kind and detailed in her responses. On the day of the wedding we had some chancy weather, and I was able to talk to Al multiple times throughout, even changing my ceremony site about 30 minutes prior to start time. He was always available to answer questions, drive me around in the golf cart (lol), and even held my engagement ring for me during the ceremony when my poor heat-swollen fingers just would not allow it to go on my right hand!
There is not one single thing we would change about our experience at The Atrium. They truly made us feel so comfortable, prepared, heard, and overall loved. You will NOT REGRET experiencing this magical venue and the absolutely amazing people in Al and Lyndsey who will make your day everything you could have ever dreamed of and more!
